Transport Gateway doesn't appears to start web listener
Tried installing Transport Gateway 3.5 under CentOS 6.x. I can start the process and I see a couple of items in the process list for it, but I don't see anything listening on port 80 when looking at the output from netstat and, of course, dont' see anything when trying to access the web gui.
Any ideas?
That's what I suspected.
Hmm. Curious. It doesn't seem to want to start a listener on the http or https ports. I see it listening on localhost:31000 and 32000, but I'm pretty certain those are used for something other than the web interface for the app.
wrapper 3286 root 7u IPv4 49309 0t0 TCP localhost:32000->localhost:31000 (ESTABLISHED)
java 3288 root 4u IPv4 49291 0t0 TCP localhost:32000 (LISTEN)
java 3288 root 68u IPv6 49308 0t0 TCP localhost:31000->localhost:32000 (ESTABLISHED)
Opened a case with TAC, but the rep is insisting that I neeed a GUI on the linux machine in order to troubleshoot, but I don't see how that would matter, so we'll see where that goes.
Not seeing much helpful in the log files. Seems pretty clean. No mention of missing components or unable to start services in either /var/log/messages or in the log files for the app.
I get a couple of processes: one wrapper process and the other is com.cisco.ca.csp.cso.conn.tg.service.TGServiceMain
I see in the jettyconfig.properties file that it has 80 and 443 conigured for http and https and the TGServiceMain process has the jars for jetty in the command line.

What is the target of this transport request? Are you sure it's not marked as "local" in transaction SE01 for example? Because if it is a local transport request, it will not generate a file.

Flash Player doesn't appear on "Start all programs" even after installation completed.
Hello,
I downloaded FlashPlayer 11(latest) and installed.
Installation progress bar reached end that seemed to complete.
But FlashPlayer doesn't appear on windows "Start > all programs".
There is no "FlashPlayer" folder under "Program files > Adobe" as well.
Would anybody help?
What is missing or wrong on my installation?
Thanks,

Right.... becuase it ISN'T a program... it's a PLUGIN for your browser. You'll find it in:
Internet Explorer - Tools (the little "gear" icon)>Manage Add-ons
Firefox - Tools>Add-ons - under the Plugins Tab -
TMG always returns blank wpad.dat file on Web Listener
Hello, I have local web server publication on 80 port with redirection to https protocol for local and external clients. And TMG refuses to serve real "/wpad.dat" to clients — instead it serves blank html.
Now I created web publish rule with same Web Listener on 80 port on Internal network that redirects any request with path "/wpad.da*", but while this rule works for "/wpad.dad" and "/wpad.dat?" it doesn't work for "/wpad.dat"!
Why?
I also created simply rule to block access to local "/wpad.dat" url, but it doesn't work either while web listener on next rule is active — TMG still returns blank html.
And when new rules are disabled request to published server for "/wpad.dat" on http protocol returns blank html while it should redirect to https and forward request to real server according to rule configuration. However,
request on https is forwarded to published server.
My configuration requires local web server publication and distribution of wpad.dat file on 80 port, only workaround that i see is to make new server that will redirect requests to wpad.dat file to alternate url.
Thank you for advice on my problem.Hi,
Thank you for the post.

CR 8.0 pie chart/graph doesn't appear in web browser
Post Author: kevind
CA Forum: Charts and Graphs
Hi,
I am using a CR 8.0 report (containing data in tabular format and Pie/Bar graph) with Web component Server.
In design mode (by entering the parameters) when i view my report through the CR IDE then i can view my report perfectly with the pie and bar graphs.
However, once i call the same report through the web component server, by my JSP page, the report appears with the data but the page containing the piechart/Bar graph doesn't appear. (i am using the ActiveXViewer)
When i remove the chart/graph, then all the pages are displayed in my browser (IE) properly, but if i add back the pie chart then the page on which this should appear - doesnt display.
Has anyone faced a similar issue? In design it displays with data but once called through webcomponent server it fails?
Thanks,
Kevin DHello Subramaya,
currently I am working on a small article in the Wiki area of the ITS (Wiki, ITS HowTos): <a href="https://wiki.sdn.sap.com/wiki/display/HOME/UsingSAPGUIforHTMLinsteadofanIAC">Using SAP GUI for HTML instead of an IAC or EWT service</a>.
Also see notes 1010519, "SAP GUI for HTML: Simplified Title Area Without Menu and OK Code" and 959417, "Integrated ITS, Closing Session When Transaction Ends". I am pretty sure that this is exactly what you are looking for.

Yes. Please help. I wish to download Lightroom CC (preferably version 6). It doesn't appear in my creative Cloud list. I have been a CC member since it started. (The photographic version which SHOULD include Photoshop AND Lightroom.) I have the standalone versions of Photoshop 6 and Lightroom 5 already installed too!
Hi George,
Kindly try the below mentioned steps.
Sign in, Sign out | Creative Cloud desktop app
Click on download on Digital photography software | Download free Adobe Photoshop Lightroom CC trial
Please share the results once done.

My screen had a black out and since then, my ipod touch is not getting started. it just shows ' connect ipod to itunes'. Even after doing that, my Itouch doesn't appear anywhere in Itunes. Help !! ??
Try:
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Reset all settings
Go to Settings > General > Reset and tap Reset All Settings.
All your preferences and settings are reset. Information (such as contacts and calendars) and media (such as songs and videos) aren’t affected.
- Restore from backup. See:
iOS: How to back up
- Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.
- Make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store.

"To import all songs on the CD, click Yes in the window that appears. iTunes starts importing the CD."
I am using a Dell and can't import the CD I need because the window doesn't automatically pop up. How do I fix this? Any thoughts? You could try my script ConvertFormat and see if you like the results. Would be easier than inserting the CDs and correcting the tag info again. Just be aware this is a one-way trip. Once you've thrown away some quality to shrink the files you can't get it back without going back to the source. You may better off investing in a bigger drive.
If you just want to squeeze more on the iPod you can use the built-in iTunes option to convert files to a lower bitrate as they are added to the device.

Have been using a lower version of firefox on my samsung galaxy phone to access [email protected] for quite some time. Since the upgrade to 10.0, I receive a server error everytime I try to access. Want to download a lower version, but app doesn't appear on my phone. How can I download a lower version and get the app to show up on my phone?
Mandel is referring to what is called a "User Agent Faker' which tricks the website into thinking it is a different browser or version than it actually is. I sometimes would use this on my iPhone when I wanted to visit the full website of a site I was attempting to go to & it would only take me to the mobile version or state it was only compatible with say Internet Explorer, simply turn it on & select the browser and details you want it to report and it will spoof that browser & you'll be on your way.

The initial white screen doesn`t appear, but the computer starts normally.
Hi, I'm worried about something. I have a MacBookPro 15 ", and since yesterday when I turn it on, the initial white screen, with the loading bar, doesn`t appear. At first everything is black and then the computer turns on normally.` That is not normal, can anyone help me?
Yes, I normally get this white screen when I turn the machine on. Whithout seen nothing behind it. But now is not appearing anymore. I turn it on > everything goes black (should be white with the apple and the loading bar) > then the screen of the user and password to access the computer appears normally.
What can this be? I searched in the internet, and found nothing. I`m hoping to find the solution here. -
Personal Web Sharing doesn't want to start. (Apache problem)
I have accidently deleted apache folders from my iBook. Then I reinstalled the apache, but when I tried to start my Personal Web Sharing, it just won't start. It says "Web Sharing Starting Up", but it stays that way for ages. Any idea? It worked before (I mean before the accident). I dunno if it's got to do with the mySQL coz I reinstalled another version of mySQL.
iMac Mac OS X (10.4.4)I am experiencing the same problem: going through the System Preferences (in OSX 10.4.10), to the Sharing pane, then the Services Tab, and clicking Start Personal Web Sharing only gives me "Starting Web Sharing..." and never actually starts it.
I have tried the following solutions:
• replaced httpd.conf files using both the httpd.conf.default file from the machine in error as well as from another Mac (adapting the usernames as appropriate)
• replacing the entire /private/etc/httpd directory with the one from the other Mac, whose Web Server will start up
• when starting it via Terminal, i get "fopen: no such file or directory" so I created it... no dice.
Can anybody give me any more suggestions?
If not, I do have AppleCare on it - think they might help? -
Title of Web Page doesn't appear at very top of browser window!
Running 3.6.8 on Mac OSX 10.6 (Snow Leopard) and the name/title of the website I am currently viewing doesn't appear above the address bar.
For example, for this page (support.mozilla.com/en . . . ), "Ask a Question | Firefox Support" does not show up on the top.
The title of the page DOES, however, appear in the tabs, but I often don't browse with multiple tabs open on a given browser window.
I have tried running in safe mode, have disabled all addons/themes etc, but nothing seems to fix the irritating problem.I've partially fixed it by making some adjustments and republishing. but I still could not get the reflection to appear with the photo - which left a blank space that threw off the spacing on the page. i've removed the reflection to resolve this.

Image as drop-down text link -- image doesn't appear
(Using Robohelp X5)
Wondering if anybody has had anything like this happen before
and can explain it for me???
First line of topic is type <h1>. At the end of the
line I have an icon that is a link to drop-down text.
Here's where it gets weird. I compiled the help and displayed
the .chm. Looked at the topic, the image doesn't appear, but is
clickable (and works properly). Used the 'print' option from the
.chm to print to .pdf. The image appears in the .pdf.
Looked at the code, can't see anything wrong with it.
Back in the wysiwyg editor, selected the last character of
normal text plus the clickable icon, copied and pasted in place (so
now have
<text2><dropdown2><text><dropdown>)
Removed <text><dropdown> (the original content),
edited the code to use the proper 'name' attribute (because it was
modified on the paste), recompiled, ran the .chm, everything
displays properly (the image is there).
Note: I was having similar problems with it earlier, think I
fixed it the same way, and everything was okay for a few compiles,
then started having the problems again.
At this point, as far as I can see, the .html is the *same*
as it was before, but now the image appears in the .chm. Colour me
totally confused :-)
Anybody have any insights as to why this could be happening?
Thanks!Change what you have now:

Server appears to start but fails when accessed
I have installed (and re-installed) the application server (version 8.2) and it appears to be successful - I have just taken all the defaults along the way.
When I try http://localhost:8080/ it fails every time. The log is below.
the PATH variable is set to: C:\Sun\AppServer1\bin;C:\Program Files\Java\jdk1.5.0_05\bin
Can anyone give me some suggestions as to what I have done wrong, please?

The PATH must be consistently formated (e.g. C:\Program Files\Java\jdk1.5.0\bin; ) or the Appserver may not be able to start and/or stop. Mixed quoted spaces in your PATH can cause problems, so the launcher will remove all double quotes before invoking the process. The most reliable solution would be to remove all spaces from your path before starting the Appservers components. |#]

Hi Pro´s!
I ran into some problems installing the Transport Gateway for Cisco Smart Call Home. I downloaded the latest package for Windows and ran it on a Server 2003 SP2. The installation went on without any errors and I clicked on the Finish button and the application closed down. Now - when i press att the GUI icon och the desktop nothing happens! I checked that the service was running, I stopped the service and turnt it on again, but nothing changed.
I´ve read the installation manual and it doesn´t mention anything special, just start the GUI and go on with the registration.
Has any of you any ideas what I should do?
Best regards
JohanAn update,
I found the answer in Troubleshooting and Support guide:
following steps:
Stop the TG service
Close the RDP Connections
Re-launch the RDP using the following command
mstsc /v /admin
Launch the Transport Gateway.
That, togheter with http://blogs.msdn.com/b/rds/archive/2007/12/17/changes-to-remote-administration-in-windows-server-2008.aspx where the complete solution.
Chers,
Johan
