TRANSPORT OF BIN STRUCTURE

Hello all,
I would like to know whether the bin structure created using LS10 can be transported from a development server to the next server or is it independent of transport and cannot be transported. pl. advise

Hello Maxx,
It is the same as normal configuration, Go to LS10 in your developement client and do the configuration for bin structure and save it. This will ask for change request number, so save your setting under change request and release that reqeust for target system.

When I try to create bin structure for newly created warehouse and storage type, the systerm is giving the error message as below,
"*Entry WH1 ST1 001 does not exist in T302 (check entry)"
Can anyone tell what is the issue and how to solve?

Hi,
Table T302 is storage section table. In below issue you have not created storage section 001 in storage type ST1 in warehouse WH1. Follow path SPRO>LE>WM>Master data>Define storage section.
This'll resolve it.

Transport the organizational structure of PRD to QAS

Good Morning.
I have the following issue, I want Transport the organizational structure of PRD to QAS. I am using the report RHMOVE30 in PRD With the following entries.
Variant of Plan Active
Evaluation Path --->A003
without Test.
without With lock.
In the field Request/Task, I create a Request. and run the report.
However the system not generate object into the request, only is Request and Task and not have object into.
can anyone help me?

I tried to use RHMOVE00 to transport the organization structure.
In the transport request i included one Organizational Unit , the Position within , and the Owners assgined to that position.
Then when we got the request transported to QAS from our Dev server, I am seeing that Organization Unit and Position have been transported successfully. But the Owners assigned to the Position have not been tranported, because i guess we were not able to transport the relationship between the Owner and the Position, which we are struggling to find that how to transport the relationship.
You have also mentioned about expert Mode. But could u please tell us or guide us to some documentation on how to access the object by Expert mode.

Transport of org. structure

Hi
When I transport an org. structure the user assignment is overwritten with empty entries in production.
Normally I'm making the org. structure in DEV with out user assignment.
Releasing it to TST where I allocate some test users and then release it to production.
The last transport I moved into production made the wished changes to the org. structure but I also cleared all user assignments (just like in DEV).
I know there is a table where you can set whether you want to transport the user assignment - but where do I do that?
We are on ERP 2005 without HR.

Hi Henrik,
I am do not know where the entry is you mean, but if you don't assign users in DEV, then no user assignment will be transported as you always transport from DEV. So any users allocated in TST will not be transported.

I need to transport the organizational structure in HR,
I ordered the Tcode RE_RHMOVE30, the release without problems but when found in the tail of I transport the sample.
Wanted whether data within the directory or file cofile the order and not displayed.
Any help I can give will be welcome.

go to transaction code STMS_IMPORT in your production system. Refresh the import queue. If you can not see the request, go to "Extras>Other Request->add".. Enter the request number and click ok. If you still can not find the request that means there is no datafiles and cofiles for that request or you have to bring the data file and cofiles for that request manually. This depends on your transport settings.
But I guess you have moved the request from DEV to QAS. isn't it?..that means ...datafiles and cofiles are there.

Why Creation Bin Structure is not in full following seting up?

I created bin structure at spro as 03-01-01 to 03-10-10 increment 03-01-01 but when I check bin at t-code LX03 which the system shows only 03-01-01 to 03-02-10 (20 bins) so I could not understand this why system shows bin no in full following me seting up. _How to do, check and change this?_ Moreover I could not also find the missing bin in the system.

Give template as : - - - AA- BB--
Read "-" as a blank space.

Bins should be created SL01-01-A1 to SL01-01-A4 then change to SL01-01-B1 to B4 all the way to E4 then change to SL01-02-A1 and then repeat the A1 to E4 bins until it reaches SL01-05-E4

Problem in Transporting a BAPI structure

How to transport the extended BAPI structure from D system to Q system.
BAPI structure is extended by appending a new structure with two fields in Development system. I want to transport it to Q. But there is no transport request for this change. Since i have not done this change i dont know wat has to be done.

You can use standard program RSWBO052 to change development class.
In the line : R3TR FUGR Function Group
1)check the box
3)insert the function gruop name
4)Press F8 or Execute
5) double click and change the class

Storage Bin Structure

Dear Experts ,
if my storage bin will start with 0101A00101.......and will end with0101A90909 what should be the Template , Structure and the increment value ?????????????

the first 5 digits (0101A) do not change , so they get CCCCC in the template and spaces in the structure.
the last 5 digits (e.g. 00101) are numbers that will change, so they get NNNNN in the template.
only digit 6; 8 and 10 are changing, digit 7 and 9 are contant with a 0 value, hence set a A at 6 and a B at 7 and 8 and a C at 9 and 10 place in the structure, so it looks _____ABBCC
as only the 6 , 8 and 10 digit is changing by 1, you have have increment like this 10101

Transporting LIS info structures

Hi ,
We have a customized info structure sitting in our DEV box and we need to transport this to our QA system. There is a however info structure with the same name sitting in QA system, but it does not have any data dictionary tables. Should we just regenerate this info structure in the QA system or do we have to do a re transport of the info structure from the DEV box and overwrite the info structure in QA?

The person who had created the info structure has left the company and we are trying to bring the info structure over to the QA

Error in Transporting Transfer rule/structure to Q for generic DS

Hi,
We're in NW2004s. we're getting error when we transport Transfer Rules and Structure of generic data sources to Q.
In R3 Q the DS is active and it pulls data in RSA3 and it is replicated and all the fields are available in BW side as well, but when we transport TR/TS i still get error saying the Datasource is not active. This happens only for generic ones.
Any idea.

Hi,
have you inserted both the transfer rule and the communication structure in the same change request?
When you transport an InfoSource, all it's dependent objects must be present in the same change request; in this way the datasource will be activated.

Error in Transporting the Transfer structure

Hi can any body tell me . Iam getting this error while transporting from BW System the transfer structure for 0HR_PY_1_CE.
1. Transfer structure 0HR_PY_1_CE_LA does not exist.
2. Error RSAR 440 during after import handling of objects with type(s) ISTS
3. Errors occurred during post-handling RS_AFTER_IMPORT for ISCS L
I have activated the transfer structure through this programme - program RS_TRANSTRU_ACTIVATE_ALL.

Check the below notes:
Note 1009638 - RSAR 440 when you activate transfer rules applicable for BI7.0 Less than SP12.
Note 736668 - RSAR 440: Transfer structure & does not exist Applicable for 3.x system.
Please check the above Notes and based on your system patch level and issue you need to choose the right one. Second one deals with the Hierarchy.

Cannot transport changes to structure

Good day SDN forumers,
To start with, I am a functional consultant and please pardon me if I cannot express my thoughts in an ABAP-inclined manner
I made some changes to a structure (FIAA_SALVTAB_RABEST) With an access key, I were able to add fields to a component (.INCLUDE) with component type (CI_REPRABEST). This will enable me to have more fields available for display when I run a report with program RABEST_ALV01.
The problem though is how I can transport the said repair/change from DEV to PRD. The system does prompt a transport request upon saving of the changes., but after transporting to PRD, the changes do not take effect.I already consulted our ABAPERS and BASIS guys but unfortunately, they too don't know how to solve the problem. I badly need help guys. Any suggestions or comments? Thanks!

Template is created based alpha numric character & special character like hipen
template ( FOR EX: ANNCCCCCCN ).
A-Alphabet
N-Numeric
C-character
So you can create bin with structure by using alphabet & numeric,special characters.
