Transport of Business System in IDoc scenarios.

HI All,
I am doing IDoc scenarios so I am using Business System say PIS_800 . Now i have moved these scenarios to quality system and my Business System name is supposed to be PIQ_800.
I am using simply file import-export for transport. After transport my Business System name is coming as PIS_800 only.
Can anybosy plz suggest me how to change it to PIQ_800? This part is quite new to me so detailed explaination will be helpful.
Thanks,
Atul.

Hi Atul,
In DEV
1) Export the TS & BS of SAP R/3
2) Export the TS & BS of DEV XI Server
In QTY
1)Import the TS & BS of SAP R/3
2) Import the TS & BS of DEV XI Server
3) Create the TS for Quality SAP R/3 & Corresponding BS also which is pointing the QTY Server Details
Now create the Transport Groups and Targets
http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/ef/a21e3e0987760be10000000a114084/content.htm
With this Configuration, the DEV BS will be replaced by the QTY BS.
Thats all

  • Separation of business processes in IDoc scenarios

    Hello!
We have implemented an IDoc -> XI -> IDoc scenario with complex mappings and enhanced receiver determination using the value mapping API in which about 15 different R/3 platforms send IDocs to XI for internal ordering.
All R/3s are using standard IDoc types like DELFOR.DELFOR02, DESADV.DELVRY03, ORDCHG.ORDERS05, ORDERS.ORDERS05 and ORDRSP.ORDERS05. As XI gets more and more used additional projects are coming up in which we will also use exactly the same IDoc types.
Especially when using enhanced receiver determination it now gets extremely difficult to separate the different business processes once they use the same IDoc types. The projects do not only share the same receiver determination object but what is even worse they also share the same message mapping object to determine the receiver. This makes development, testing and MTP extremely difficult and requires coordination over several project teams.
Within R/3 business scenarios can easily be separated using different message codes and message functions. However, once the R/3 post IDocs to XI there is no clear separation possible any more.
Of course, every project can implement own Java classes for enhanced receiver determination and transport the archives separately but still the problem is that all the projects using the same IDoc message type share the same message mapping object to the determine the receiver. This means that it would be necessary to fill the input parameters for the enhanced receiver determination classes of ALL projects within the same object. Either by putting logic in the graphical mapping or writing another Java function to call the different Java classes for enhanced receiver determination based on the message code and message function.
From a design perspective it is no good approach to mingle logic for different projects and business scenarios in the same development objects. What alternatives do we have? Does SAP plan to support a separation using message code and message function for IDoc scenarios in the Integration Repository?

  • Failure in retrieving business system with Idocs

We implemented a B2B scenario (SAP R/3 4.7 ->XI->XI->SAP R/3 4.7 ) in which each SAP R/3 + XI act as a Business Party with a business service assigned to internal business system.
Trying to send IDoc from one Business Party to the other
The IDoc got through from the source system to the target system OK, The target R/3 sent the ALEAUD ack back but the ALEAUD sent from the target R/3 contains the internal business systems names and the XI did
not convert it back to address the services that sent it from the source system.
The message gets to the source system with the internal names of the target system so it falls due to unrecognized systems.
the error at the source target for the returning ALEAUD is OUTBOUND_BINDING_NOT_FOUND
SAP dev support claim that the source is the header mapping from XI1 to XI2.
    Any work around for this?

  • Business  system for idoc reciver communication channel.

    hi gurus,
iam doing one file to idoc scenerio.
for defining reciver idoc adapter ,which type of businees system i required that is configured in SLD.
    pls guide me .
    warm regards.

    Hi
You can use th Buiness system as a receiver for IDOC.
    Making sure
    1. the LS of the system(R/3) is same in the SLD and it is also reflecting in the adapter specific attributes in the ID.
    2. Use the same LS name for the BS pointng to FIle in the SLD.
Complete the IDOC configuration from XI
    1. Create the RFC dest from XI to ECC
    2. Create the Trfc port and call this RFC dest created..
    3. Use this Trfc port in the IDOC receiver
    On ECC:
Make sure the Partner Profiles is created properly.
it is suggested to use always the business systems when you deal with IDOC and Proxies.

  • Transport issue( business system)

    Hi experts..
My system land scape is XID (Dev)--> XIQ(Qua)---->XIP(Prd) and there is one more system called XIT ( it is replication of XIP(Prd)  for testing .
actually we have upgraded service pack in  XIT, now iam importing IR ID from XID to XIT to test all scenarios.
the IR is imported properly , but when  iam trying to improt the ID iam getting error that " business system BP1" is not exist . actually BP1 is  defined in XIP (production) system.
i cheked in SLD of XIT system , there are all business systems are available same as XID system.
iam not undertand while import why XIT is pointing the business system BP1 which is related to XIP (Prd) system?
i refresh all caches also , please tell me what could be the reason?
i gone through the blog still iam not clear.
    thanks in advance.
    Regards
    vasavi

    Hi,
    >the proble may be because of.... intiallly XIT system is replication XIP . so by importing The ID from XID >and trying to overwrite the ID in XIT. so it may be leading to error?
No,  Check whether you have declared the Business System ( SLD ) in the XIT which is equalent to the Business system  declared in the XIP.  If not Declare the Business System though it is not pointing to the Technical System.

  • Business system Doesnot change while transporting

    Hi All,
When Transporting my business system from DEV to QA, my business system doesnot change. I already checked in SLD that my DEV business system is pointing to the correct system in QA. Also DEV and QA are on one SLD only.
You guys will be highly appreciated.
    Regards,
    ---Satish

You also have to make sure that the DEV/QAS Business Systems are associated to the respective DEV/QAS XI system. For that, open the BS in SLD, go to the "Integration" tab and check the "Related Integration Server".
Also, make sure that both the DEV BS & DEV XI are inside the same "DEV" transport group in SLD, as well as the QAS BS & QAS XI are both in the same "QAS" group.
    Regards,
    Henrique.

  • More integration scenarios with the same business system in Int. Direct.?

    Hi guys!
I need to integrate 5 business systems. I tried to create more integration scenarios (to do it clearly), but it is not possible to add already added business system to any other scenario...
    What's the logic of this?
Can someone explain me it? Or some link?
    Thanx Peter

    hi Peter,
    have you tried:
    service without party ->
right click on your business system ->
    add to scenario?
like this you can add your business system
to as many scenarios as you wish

  • Business system transport problem.

    Hi,
I am trying to impor the objects in directory system but i ma getting below erroe message while transport.
Business system XXX is not assigned a business system in group YYY.
    where YYY is production group.
Wat i can figure out is I need to create the new business system and assigned that new business system to Production group in SLD.
Let me know whether I am correct or not?
    chirag

    hello Chirag,
1)First Create the Business Groups on Both the Server (DXI ,QXI,PXI )
    -     DEV_GROUP  for Development Environment
    -     QA_GROUP for Quality Environment
    -      PRD_GROUP for Production Group
    2) Assing the Business Groups to respective Integration Servers
3)Assign the Quality Business Systems to QA_GROUP and Production Business systems to PRD_GROUP
Automatically all the Business Systems are assigned to respective Integration Servers.
4)Select the Business System Ex : DB2QA00. Under the Details select Transport :
    Click on the Add/Change Target..
    5) On Click of Button we will see the Target Group and Target Business System.
Here for DB2QA00 target Business System is DB2PRD00 under PRD_GROUP.

  • Integration server already has a business system

    Dear All,
I got problem while creating sender business system for FILE-IDOC Scenario.I have created r3_800 business system for IDOC receiver with logical system name APOCLNT800.After that I tried to create business system for FILE Sender with logical system name XI7CLNT001.But i am getting the error "The selected integration server already has a business system with logical name XI7CLNT001. Select a different integration server or change the logical name."
Do I need to create another logical system?
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

In addition to my previous post, refer the following blogs. This will help you understand how ABAP based systems in the landscape already get registered in SLD while post installation. Just check once the BS you are trying to create in SLD is already there.

  • Need of Business Systems?

    Hi Experts,
Is it really need of Business systems for doing IDOC scenarios?
Why not technical systems to use directly(ie., if only one R/3 system having the client)?
Does my question is having sense???
    Regards,
    YRaj.

    Hi Raj,
We create Business system to Technical system and assign it to our Scenario. If there is some changes there in the technical system like we are going to use some other client of the technical system in future it is sufficient to change the Bussiness sytem to point to the new technical system. There is no necessity of changing the scenario itself. This is the reason of using the Business systems in the Scenarios.

  • Re-Using a business system

    Hi all,
I am using a R/3 business system in two scenarios in XI, one R/3 -> XI -> JDBC and one R/3 -> XI -> MDM. However, when I send an IDOC from the R/3, it only goes into the JDBC. How can I 'tell' it which scenario it should use??
    Regards, Michael

    hi,
you have to configure receiver determination
correctly - to send messages to both or one
    based on come conditions
    have a look at <b>Defining Conditions</b> section;
    http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/6a/b7eb412d7f9c39e10000000a155106/frameset.htm
if you want to send to both at once
you just have to add the second receiver in your receiver determination

  • Do i need a new SWCV and a business system

    Hi Friends
Do i need a new SWCV and Business suystem for every scenario .
Let us say i created one file to iDOC scenario with the same sender and same target system
and now for the same Sender and Reciever i want to create one more scenario which is again a file to idoc
So for this do i have to do all the stuff in SLD again.
    Thanks

No you need not create a new technical and business system. You can use the existing technical and business system defined for the same source and target system. You just need to go to the "Objects" tab in ID and add the business system to your scenario.
As far as technical and business sytem info:
SLD is based on the CIM model ( Common Information model)
this model clasiifies the system in terms of SWC, Product, TS, BS to list down....
TS--> Technical details of the system likeserver name, IP etc....it mostly identifies the system with it's technically ( this gives option to change the TS in future suupose you change the server or its configuration etc)
BS---> represents the BS usuage identity suppose youa re using the SAP r/3 clnt 100 is sued for develoment activity 200 for QA here the R/3 palys the TS system and 100 200 plays int he Business system....for that particular business wht'a the role of this system......
Do award points if you feel your query is answered.
    Thanx

  • Assign Business System in Integration Directory

    Hi all,
    i have basic question.
in my ID, there are some configuration scenarios.
for example, the left side look like,
in case, one of Business System created on SLD was assigned to one of configuration scenarios,
i would need to assign same business system into Business System in Service Without Party in another configuration scenarios, it was not possible to assign.
can i assign BS1 to several configuration  scenarios?
or should i create Main scenario in order to define communication channel?
    thanks in advance
    venjamin

    Hi venjamin
Yes, you can assign the same business system to different configuration scenarios.
to do this there are 2 ways.
    1. Open the cofiguration scenario to which the business system has already been  assigned.
Right Click on the Business System> Add to Scenario> Select the scenario to which you want to
    assign your business system.
    2. Select the objects tab>service without party> business system> your business system> right click-->
assign to scenario and then select your scenario.
    Hope this helps,
