Transport of org. structure

Hi
When I transport an org. structure the user assignment is overwritten with empty entries in production.
Normally I'm making the org. structure in DEV with out user assignment.
Releasing it to TST where I allocate some test users and then release it to production.
The last transport I moved into production made the wished changes to the org. structure but I also cleared all user assignments (just like in DEV).
I know there is a table where you can set whether you want to transport the user assignment - but where do I do that?
We are on ERP 2005 without HR.
Thanks.
Regards,
Henrik

Hi Henrik,
I am do not know where the entry is you mean, but if you don't assign users in DEV, then no user assignment will be transported as you always transport from DEV. So any users allocated in TST will not be transported.

Martin

  • Sales Org Structure Transport

    Hi,
    Guru's
How can we transport the " Sales area  " structure from Dev to Qlt server ?

    Hello Mr. Gupta,
You can transport CRM Org Structure from Development to Quality using a Report  RHMOVE30 (T COde SE38)
    Use below details
    Plan Version = 01
    Object type = O ( Transporting Org Units)  Select S = Positions
Object ID: Org Units For Object Type O & Positions for Object Type S
Transport: Task . Give the Customizing Transport Request Number & Tick on Transport Objects
After Executing Save the Org Structure.
Then import the Transport request into Quality.

  • Transporting a Org Unit to QA

    Hello All
We're about to upload our WF to QA, and I've set all the WF definitions and rule to a transport package, but I want to know how can I do the same with my Org Units. I've searched about this and cannot found any info.
    Regards.

These aren't usually transported because the organization is maintained in production.
You can use report RHMOVE30 to transport an org structure manually, however I usually find it quicker and easier to just recreate the structure if it's not too big.

  • Transport Org Structure without Org Data

    Hello HR experts,
I have a simple org structure - one org unit, one postion and 4 users assigned to that position in Dev client.
How do I transport this request to Q without re-creating it?
Also, When we transport this, by default, does it carry the data (meaning do I see the same users in Q. if so, how do I avoid this).
    Thanks a lot.
    Alex

    Hello,
    You will these useful.
    1. Note 995771 - System Landscape Copy for SAP SRM 4.0 and 5.0
    2. Within SRM5 you can transport a structure using the report RHMOVE30. This will generate a customizing task. In the selection screen select your root node in the object field and EBP-DOWN as evaluation path.
After the transport in the target system, you need to convert the attributes in reference to a logical system with report rhom_attribute_replace and transaction BDLS.
    3. Org. structure transport via RHMOVE30
    4. Developing a ALE distribution model

  • Org structure Transport

    Hi Gurus,
I have created some org positions and  assigned  business roles to positions in our dev org structure and trying to move this into QA with RHMOVE50.  The positions are comming accross ok, However the business role assignement is not getting transported accross.
Am I missing something? Your help will be much appreciated.
    Thanks.
    Sam

    Hi Gnana,
Thanks for you response, I have looked at the notes and implemented the suggested table entries.
Before I made the table entries I had observed that the transport(Using RHMOVE30) will remove user assignments in the target system.
If I need to transport just the business role assignment to a position, What options should I select for the delta using RHMOVE30?
    Thanks for your help.
    Regard,
    Sam

  • Workflow Org structure transport error

    Hi,
In PPOME we have created org structure & created position id's for the same.
Same position id's are assigned to different release code level.
We have created trasnsport request from Development system to Quality system.
After transporting it to Quality we have received error message: like No activation of relationship to object S 50000537 in pl.version 50000537.
I have also used program RHWFACTI  to activate but I can't run this program in quality to correct it.
Is there any way to correct it.
    Regards
    Ravi Shankar.

  • Transport Whole Org Mgmt Structure

    Hello,
We're using the Organizational Management Stucture to assign roles to users (through positions assignments, etc). We normally do this from DEV and transport each change to PRD through QAS. We recently upgraded from 46c to ECC6 and we lost synchronization of the Org Structure assignments between PRD and DEV. I wonder if it's possible to transport the whole Organizational Management Stucture in one shot to resynchronize it. I searched in vain.
    Any help appreciated.
    Thanks,
    Martin.

    Hi Martin,
You may want to look around in the HR (-related) forum(s) for further answers. Or talk to the basis guys about transporting table contents.
The org structure is held in two tables (HRP1000 and HRP1001) which can be transported.

  • Transport org structure

how to transport the organisation structure, as it is created in EA screen.

There is a program called "RHMOVE30", access via transaction SE38. You could use this to queue up set of objects into a transport such as object "O" organizational structure.
It will automatically pick up all related infotypes to object O and put that into a transport to move across other systems.

  • RE: Org Structure in HR

    Hi Gurus,
I am new to HR. I have ECC 6.0/windows 2003/oracle on my desktop. I am trying to create a Org Structure using PPOCE and when i saved it asked for the trasnport request. I have created this transport request. when i get out of T-code PPOCE and come back again I am unable to find my org structure that was created earlier. Can you guys help me how to find my org structure.
Points will be awarded for the useful answers. I appreciate your help.
    Thanks,
    Peapully

    Peapully,
Org structure is client dependent and it cannot be transported. I am not really sure why it is prompting for a transport when you save a Org structure. Ideally it shouldn't. And about viewing the created Org structure did you try the transactions PPOME or PPOSE --> from the left navigation pane Structural search. Hope you will be able to find the org structure with PPOME, PPOSE.

  • Transfer modified Org structure

I have been able to successfully transfer the org structure from our CRM dev environment to CRM quality environment using the RHMOVE30 report. But, know I have made some changes to the org structure in the dev environment. Changes include addition of new org units, modification of attributes on exisiting org units, addition of new positons. I want to transport these changes from dev to quality.
Can I use the RHMOVE30 report again to do this? - It seems like the RHMOVE30 will pick up the entire org model, instead of just the modified and new objects. so, will this manual transport overwrite the org model in the target environement - that will be ok if that happens - since no changes are being made to the org model in QA. How would this impact the BP numbers for the org units in QA. Originally I used the CRM_COM_ORGMAN_BUPA_INTEGRATE  report to genrate bp numbers for the transferred org units.
    Any help is appreiciated.
    Thanks,
    Deepak

I just figured it out that RHMOVE50 can be used to transport all modified objects. A lock is placed on this objects - TRSP CORR = 'T' in T77S0. But, this lock should be placed before all the changes are made. I made all my changes before I made this entry in T77S0. So, this will not work for me. Any ideas on how to move these changes now are welcome?
    Thanks,
    Deepak

  • Agent Determination with Org Structure without HR

We are currently on SAP 4.7 without the HR component.  Our tech area would really like us to implement our first workflow where agent assignment is determined from an org plan.  This workflow is a very simple workflow and actually only involves 2 people (one clerk and one manager).
If I build a very simple structure for this particular department, how easy is it to add on additional levels, both higher or lower, at a later date that will accomodate future workflows without effecting the existing one?
    Thoughts?

    Thank you Ramki and Sivarajendren,
I guess I'm still struggling with the best way to determine agent assignment given our circumstances (no HR) and the simplicity of this workflow.  (Recap of workflow - investigation and approval of corp refunds done by person # 1.  If refund > $500, needs approval from person #2).
The tech area wants me to create a simple org plan but not assign any users to it and then transport it all clients.  Then in each client, we can assign users which would accomodate our testing with different id's than in prod.  The workflow would then assign to a position not a userid.  The advantage is that when people leave, the org plan must be maintained not the workflow.
I've thought about using responsibility rules but ultimately, you are assigning a userid to a rule which still needs maintenance if a user leaves.
I've also thought about using activity groups but the way we use them at our location isn't appropriate in this circumstance.  Our activity groups are so broad it would give too many people access to workflows.
Lastly, I've thought about creating a custom Z table with the userid's in it and calling a function module to determine agent assignment.  This actually sounds intriguing but again, someone would need to maintain the userid's in the table.  Also, what's the best kind of key for the table - taskid?
One of our dilema's is that IT management does not want to give anyone authorization to change a WF templete in prod.  So I must create the WF templete with the correct assignment in our dev system and then transport it to our prod system.
Then there's the whole issue about who will be doing any maintenance.  Since we don't have an HR component at this time (hopefully sometime in the next 5 years), HR won't maintain an org structure.
See how complicated this is becoming?  I'd appreciate any insight.

  • Mass upload of Org structure

    Hello,
Is there any means to mass upload the Org structure.?
    Regards,
    Madhan

Search on this forum for the document "transporting EBP systems" it's quite an old document, but still helpful.
Also, take a look at RHMOVE00 and RHMOVE30, that might come in handy.

  • Q_GRC10: Using ERP - Org Structure in GRC 10

    Hi,
I was wondering if the Org Structure we currently use in the ERP system can be exported and imported / copied / Cloned / transported, into other systems and / or then into GRC10. I want to use this structure to drive my workflow instead of re creating a new one GRC.
    Cheers, Melvin

By this time, I guess you have already implemented a solution.
Long time without connection to SDN and now try to recap.
You can implemente an interfase between your ERP Org structure and GRC10 org structure.
    Kind regards,

  • OM upgrade-Conversion of Org Structure

    Dear All,
I am working in a upgrade project and we have requriement of OM/Training & Event/PD upgrade from 4.7 to ecc 6.0.
Now as per  plan all the objects such as O,S,T,Q,QK,,,,,,etc. will be moving through conversion.
I want to understand that how to move the org structure which is there in PPOME/PPOCE in OM. Will that automatically moves during conversion (clonening) or it has to be created mannualy.
    Please give some information.
    thanks
    Sunny

As such there will be no conversion. and it will move during upgrade.
But still if you want you can bundle up the org structure in transport requests in your old version by reports RHMOVE*
Which you could transport if required.
    Regards,
    Divya
