Transport request organizing report based on package

Can anyone suggest me from which tables i will get all the transport requests, package to which it belongs to, which date it has been created, in which date it has been trasported and modified and to which user id it belongs to.

About package name and transport request number

Hello Gurus,
I know when doing some changes in the sap bw system, and performing activation subsequently , you are prompted to save the changes into some package and transport request. my question is:
in the real project, where does those package name and transport request number come from? make up by myself or provided by project management, or someone else? if doing by youself, how to make up package name and transport request number ?

package is like a folder in windows.. u create package for a project and than collect all the relevant transports in it.
to create package u use SE80.. Transport req number are configured by basis team.. its usually source system ID and running serial number...
package name can be decided by tech architect or by ur team manager..

Transport Request Details

Thanks for your response. I have found the solution. I actually wanted all the objects in a transport request to be assigned to a package ZBW.
The solution is, go to SE09 and give your request number, then do the following from the Menu Bar:
Request Task->Object List->Object Directory Entries. This would show all the objects in the request and their packages.

Transport Request Number shown as Blank in Version Management

Hi Experts,
I am creating transport request for report programs using the function modules IW_C_CREATE_TRANSPORT_REQUEST and
TR_INSERT_NEW_COMM .Once created i am able to see the transport no in SE01 .But when i tried to make any changes in the program and save ,its asking for a new transport request.Also in version management the transport request is blank .
Please suggest me where i went wrong.

Hi
Just check if your report objects are getting linked to the Transport in se01.If not then it means that this FM only creates a TP# and not attaches that to Report Objects.
You then need to manually attach the Report object to this TP#.

Crystal Reports - Saving and the transport request screen

Good morning BI people,
Has anyone had this annoyance?
You are creating a Crystal report(2008 v12.2.7.598) with connection to sap bi(7.01) and when you save, the transport request screen doesn't come up front of crystal reports, it is created behide the screen. so, you sit and look at the hour glass for 5 mins, move on to other things, and then you realize that the transport screen is behide the crystal reports screen. and, it is not like you can minimize the crystal screen. you have to minimize all your screens and then click on the crystal screen from you tool bar and then, the transport screen comes up.
anyone have a fix for this?
or am i alone....

I'm not sure that Modules would show us anything in this case, so let's try a few other things:
1) Make sure you are using SP 1 for Crystal Reports Basic Runtime for Visual Studio:
Crystal Reports for VS 2005 and VS 2008 Updates & Runtime Downloads
2) Seeing as this works on dev, this may be some db inconsistency so enabling the report option "Verify on 1st Print" will be a good idea.
3) Double check the database client and make sure the same client is used on dev and deployed systems. Actually I take back my Modules negative as this is where it may prove useful. Once you have the Modules logs, look at who is loading the crpe32.dll, then look at that process and see the client dlls.
4) Check the printer driver; see if there are any updates. Try a different printer driver.
Ten subreports is not too bad, though not that good either as you are loading the report engine with at minimum 11 simultaneous reports (each subreport is considered to be a report). If a subreport is in a details section and the details section returns a 100 records, you are running 100 + 1 reports. This may lead to memory issues, which may lead to the error.
If I was a betting man, I'd put most of my money on the printer driver (based on your last addition to your post). What ever money I had left would go to some database issue (be it actual data or client related).

Report to check a transport request

Hi community,
I would like to write a report that checks all objects of a transport request.
For example I would like to check if all classes in that request follow the same naming convention and start with "ZCL_".
Any ideas how to do this?

You can use table : E071
Pass : OBJECT as
CINC Class Include (ABAP Objects)
CLSD Class Definition (ABAP Objects)
You will get all request with the same object tyoe .
to check the naming convention you can ues the next field
OBJ_NAME .

How to find out the transport request that a report is locked to?

I have to transport a report to production system.
The report has already been assigned to a transport request.
How do I find as to which transport request is the particular report assigned to.
Any place where I can check for the locks on a report ?

Actually i had tried it. but unfortunately, NO request number is shown. The Only nessage i'm getting is
" Source systems can not be transported."
The report is opening in RRMX in change mode.
This implies 2 things,
1. The report is already assigned to a transport request. OR
2. Its assigned to $temp.
But if the report is stored as $temp, while tranporting in transport connection, it should ask for a transport request and also ask for the development class. Which is not happening
Any other places to look for ?????

2 Transport Request for a report

Hi Experts,
I am having 2 Transport requests for the same Z report (classical report).
I have transported both of them to quality on after another with different modifications in both of them.
Now i want to transport it to Production.
I want to know do i need to transport both the requests or do i need to transport only the last
Transport request to production ?

Hi,
As per SAP Best practice there shouldnt be any floating TRs in Quality system which are not moved to Production. Which means all the transports which move from Dev to Quality should be moved to Production. If there is any unwanted change which is moved due to a TR, then a correction request should be created & released to subsequent systems.
Hence in your case move both the TRs in the same sequence to Production.

Can we create Transport request for deleting a package?

Hi all,
We have few customised programs and tables developed in a package. Normally we create a transport request, include the objects for this package, then generate the FTP files and send it to user. Now the user wants us to create a FTP files for deletiing the package. Can this be possible without effecting the package in our system?( For this we have only dev sys)

You have to ask the user to delete the package locally. Moreover please educate him about the CTS mechanism in SAP, i don't think ABAPers are here to hack the SAP system

I have reports based on Ref Cursor. Report builder and Reports Background Engine make pins for package, which consist of Ref Cursor, and for tables, which is used in package. So I can't grant any privileges on these tables anybody.
For example, after next statement:

I received the next error:

Hi Gurus,
How to find out the transport request which are generated by an object created?
I have a package(ex:xyz) which has got an object (abc).Now i need to find the transport request which are related to this object abc?
Please tell me the procdure or the Tcode to out the same.

SE09 is the transaction code for workbench organiser.Workbench organiser is the set of utilities for development change management.All Development changes are tracked via Workbench organiser.
SE10 is for Customosing organiser.Customising organiser is the set of tools for customising change management.All customizing changes are tracked via customising organiser.

Hi Atanu,
   You can try following two methods -
   1. Display SAPSCRIPT and use option goto -> Object directory entry and change the "Package".
   2. If that is not allowed, try using Txn. SE03 and try changing Object directory entry from there.
If you assign a package which is transportable, system will prompt you for a transportable request.
