Transport request when saving Org Plan

Hi All,
When I create the org plan (PPOCA_BBP) or vendor group (PPOCV_BBP) I'm being prompted to create a transport request. I've never seen this happen before.
Does anyone know if there are any system settings that need to be made to stop this happing?

Dear Chris,
I am not sure about Org Plan and Vendor Group, but, usually you would need to assign your customization to a transport request so that you could transport them from Development to Quality and Quality to Production Server.
However, you can override the settings in SCC4:
under Changes and Transports for Client-Specific Objects:
*Changes without Automatic Recording
*Automatic Recording of Changes
*No changes allowed
*Changes without Automatic recording, not transports allowed

Prompt for Customizing request when saving Sales Employee (VPE1)

Hi,
When we try to create Sales Personnel through SD Menu path (VPE1), on saving the system prompts for customizing request. Since this transaction is a master data and we dont transport this data to our production system. Suggest me a way to avoid this transport request while creating Sales Personnel.
We are currently using version 3.1i and upgrading to ECC6.0. In 3.1i we use transaction PAL1 to create Sales Personnel However it will not prompt for Customizing request
Also checked the SAP Note Note 854390 - FAQ: Use of the sales representative in SD without HR
Help me on how to turn off this customizing request. Basis and Security team could not able to turn this off.

hello, friend.
you have 2 choices:
1. create a transport request, save the data but do not release it for transport.
2. when the dialog asks you for transport request, just close this. the system will give you a message about links. just ignore it.

Delete Transport request when task is released

Hi All,
Task is already released and i dont want this transport request.
i am trying to delete the transport request from se10. But unable to do that. i have unlocked the object for this request and when i try to delete the object it give an error to sort and compress the task and request.
But when i try for sort and compress for the task its says it is already released. How can we resolve and delete the request.
Please advise.

Is there any way we can delete it from the Object list , only the task is released not the actual request. I can see the entries in E070 table but it not recommanded to delete from this table.
When i try to delete it says the task need to sort and compress, When i try to compress it says the task is already released.
Any how the last option for this problem is to delete from the buffer once its released or delete the entries from the table.
But there must be some way, as only the task is released.
Please suggest.

No transport request when a new sales office/ sales group is maintained

Hi,
We have an ECC 6.0 system and when we maintain new sales office or sales group it doesnt ask us a transport request.
Proper settings are done in SCC4 and TMS is properly activated. I have already checked if there are any modifiable requests with the particular object for sales office(TVBUR).
But no request for this object exists.

Correct Settings are done in SCC4. Rest of customization asks for requests apart from Maintain Sales Office/Group.
The problem was resolved. In SE54 i checked for the table V_TVBUR and V_TVKGR which are for Sales Office and Sales Group respectively. If you display Generated Objects for these tables then you would see under Dialog Data Transport Details
Recorded Routines and two options
1 - Standard Recording Routine (which should be selected)
2 - No or User Recording Routine (which was to deny Transport request generation of the Table)
Select the First one and things were sorted out. You will have to take Access Key & Developer Key to change the table

Avoid transport request while saving table

Hi,
I have created a Z table and its maintenance view. When ever I enter values(rather change using SM30) in this table, always a popup with transport request is appearing. I need to avoid this. I need to avoid this as data will be maintained in production by business user and no data will be transported from Dev to QA to prod. I am not able to avoid tranport request number.
I am on SAP 4.6C.

Error to transport request when activate the Data Source: 2LIS_13_VDKON

Hi people,
When I try to transport the request about my activation from Standard DataSource 2LIS_13_VDKON, the systen (in ECC6) show me a error:
" 8: Transport carried out with errors.
Individual objects could not be transported successfully"
I already entered in the transaction RSO2 and obseved that the structure is activated.

Hi Anup,
It is correct..
We didn´t do any enhancement.
But here, the Client´s are closed for the changes and we only do this in the Development Client (only that is opned) to transport it later to other Client (example: Quality Client or Production Client).
And the problem occurs exatly at the moment we liberate from Development Client to other Client.

Saving objects in Transport request

i want to save a Package and all its contents to a single transport request which already transported.I didn't do any change,but i need to save this in a new transport request in a simple way.suggest me a simple way to do it.

The best way is to again save all the objects of ur package to the same transport request is to open individually each object in the change mode and try and make some changes(just give some space or try and right something which would change the status of ur object ot inactive mode...we do this to save this yet again in the transport request)when u save it again it will prompt u a window in which it asks you the transport request to be created(if you have already created a request then if that or else create a new one)....like wise u save all the objects of ur package in the same transport request......each time it shud ask you the transport request id.........
Now once it is done go to SE09 and open the task of your request ID here u'll find the objects....see to it that u have all ur object included in ur transport request ID............Hope i've answered ur question...

Unable to Create Transport request in more then one DEV client (in ChaRM)

We are having 2 Landscapes,
DV1 (100) --> QA1(100) --> PR1(100)
DV1 (200)--> QA1(200) --> PR1(100)
Both these landscapes are added in the ChaRM Project landscape. When we have created a correction and created a Workbench request, we were getting the option to choose the DEV system and we chose DV1(200). When we tried to create a TR for Customizing in DV1(100) it did not provide the pop up for DEV systems and directly created the customizing request also in DV1(200). We were unable to even create the TR in DV1 (100) - using the task 'Create Transport request' in the Task plan for the corretcion (It gave an Error that the DV1(200) is the Development system for this change).
is this the standard behaviour? can't we have TRs from different client/ development systems under the same correction?

As i said earlier you will get option to choose system for creating Transport Request only in case of normal corr
but in case of urg corr
you need to give ibase for production of the cocerned landscape
e.g if u have ecc and bi and want to create transport in ecc then giv ibase for prd of ecc only
because you will not get pop up in urg corr

No transport Request asking while BDC recording

i am using bdc in HR for hiring employee.Now when i run transaction 'PA40' through SHDB...it is nt asking for REQUEST,which results no emp. is getting saved through BDC.
While i try manually 1 by 1 emp, it ask for transport request.
Please help me why its happening

Transport request is not a problem. It will not affect the creation record. Try to cancel the transport request when you are creating manually than also the record gets created.
I think you are not updating all the Infotypes required. Check with the Functional Guy what are the dynamic actions for Hiring the Employee. In dynamic actions they link few infotypes after that only the record will be created.

Transport Request for HR master data

Hi all,
When we are hiring an employee or changing employee master data, system is asking for a transport request while saving the data. As master data is not transportable , we do not want system to show popup for the same. Kindly guide me if there is any setting to avoid this popup?

Transport Request for EBS

I have configured setting for Electronic Bank Statement. I went to Img> Financial Accounting>Bank Accounting>Business Transaction>Payment Transactions>Electronic Bank Statement>Make Global Settings for Electronic Bank Statement.
Is this transportable or do I have to enter these settings manually to QAS and Production. I didnt get an option to create a transport request when i saved my data.
Please advise.

These can be transported. Manual transport request needs to be created from Menu Bar > Table view > Transport.
It will create a change request number.

Transport Request details in SAP

Hello all,
When a transport request is saved, all objects in it might or might not be included in the object list attached to it.
Now the components in the object list are retrieved from E070, but I am not able to find the source for compnonents that are not a part of the object list of a TR.
Can someone please let me know some table or API for the same?

How to collect the deleted query in a transport request.

Hi Friends,
I have created a query and transported it to the Quality, the data content is all ok, except that i have not used the Project Naming conventions. Now i have a defect against my name for this. I have to copy the same query with the correct Naming convention and transport it.
My question is after copying the query with correct name i have to delete the old query (if not there would be 2 versions of the same query). How do i collect the deleted image of the query in a transport and send it to quality?.
I tried deleting a test query from Bex Designer, but this does not ask me for a transport. should i use RSZDELETE?. Not sure if it asks for a transport request when i delete the query.
Can someone pls tell me how to go about this?.

I do agree that deleting directly in Quality and Prod is not good way and not recommeded.
I have not tried and deleted.But if the system is configured in such a way that if it doesnt ask for a request
then i feel you have no option.
If any object is deleted then you must have the deletion image collected into request at the same point when you are deleting.Because later when we go to transport connection we wont find the object itself.
What i think from your point as you said you have done earlier is you must have any open request regrding this query and when this query is deleted , the deletion image is also included in the same request.
So go to se03 and give your deleted query name and check all the requests.
Check in the requests when the deletion image is captured or not. we might be knowing that this is cpatured.

Creating a new transport request.

Dear SolMan users,
Is it necessary to create a new transport request when a tester reject the testing so the developer must make some changes angain or can use the change request already created at the begining of creating changes in the system.

The developer will be creating a Transport Request in Development System.
The tester will just check the functionlaities in Quality server. What is the use of a Tester creating a Transport Request? Any scenario you can explain?

Transport Request for logical database

Hi ,
Could you please advice how to create Transport Request when we made the changes to logical database ( added new filed to the logical database)
I have added payment term field to the logical database DDF, but Transport Request was not created for this change.
Please advise, we need to move this changes to other servers from development.
