Transport Screen objects-GUI status(SAP does not create request, why)?

Hi experts,
I use SE80 to change GUI status, but system does not create a transport request for me to transfer? why?

Hi,
Thanks for replay. Actually, the SE80->program->Gui status have some objects and they are already transfered. But I can't see them on target system. But When I create exactly the same name, the system tell me they are already created. I think it becuase the original language is 'DE' but I use default language 'EN' to modify and create the request?

  • Transport GUI Screen (SE51), GUI-status (SE41) and Titlebar - how?

    Hi,
Please help me with the following:
How do you transport the following objects:
    GUI Screen (SE51)
    GUI-status (SE41)
    Titlebar for the GUI
    Thanks,
    John

You can not create a screen or gui status or gui title without having a program, so there is always a reference to the program.  If you go to SE80, and enter your program name, and hit enter, you will see folders for the screens, gui statuses, and gui titles.
The code in your PBO is simply saying that you want to use those for that particular screen, they must already exist in your program.
In reality, you should always create all of the objects of your program in SE80, and forget about SE51 and SE41,  in doing so you will see how all of the objects of your program are together when using SE80.
And yes, to confirm, the screen and gui status/titles will be transported with your program.

  • Serial Number System Status is EDEL and ESTO, SAP does not allow to do PGI

    Hello All,
We are unable to make PGI for Sales Order 2066904/10 because of wrong Serial Number Status.
Delivery note was created on the 22.12.2012 and then due to errors deleted on 27.12.2012.
Problem is that now we need to do PGI but Serial Number System Status is EDEL and ESTO, SAP does not allow to do PGI with Serial Number Status ESTO.
These 8 products are in Stock and available for this Sales Order, one of the Serial Numbers is with OK Status
    8115001012
    8115001057
    8115001058
    8115001079
    8115001081 with OK status
    8115001180
    8115001181
    8115001690
Please let us know how to correct the problem so we could do PGI for this Order?
This scenario is not replicable in RST(Quality System)
    Our Findings:
** 1. We have tried IQ02>Edit>Special Serial No Functions>Manual Transactions>To Stock, But it still do not remove EDEL.
    2. Is it suggestible to use T Code BS22 and thereby change PMS8 to Warning? I am not sure regarding this since this a SAP managed Table
Your help is highly obliged......This is very urgent..........
    Regards,
    Anirban
    SD Consultant

    Hi,
I have encountered same issue today and here is the solution:
    1. Manually changed the status from EDEL/ESTO to ECUS
Go to Edit > Special Serial Number Functions > Manual Transaction and select "To Customer", then save.
    2. Once status is in ECUS, change the serial number status back to ESTO.
Go to Edit > Special Serial Number Functions > Manual Transaction and select "To Stock", then save.
After doing the 2 steps above, you should be able to do PGI using the serial number.
Kindly advise if it works for you.
    Regards,
    Vhanie

  • Application object BUPA: Table TSADC does not exist

    Hi All,
When I try to create a Business Partner in transaction fmcac1, I get the message Application object BUPA: Table TSADC does not exist, especially when I try to go back to the Address tab after clicking on any other tab on that screen. I have tried to add the table in trans BUSG but I don't know what I am supposed to assign as the FM, for example.
I have also used the trans BUSB to try to delete the entry for TSADC but it says 'do not make any changes (SAP Entry.)' Can u pliz assist with the information I have requsted above or prescribe another solution.
    Thanx in advance.

For the benefit of others, I was able to solve the problem by removing the entry to the RIGHT, not the WHOLE entry (which refuses becoz it's an SAP entry). This is through transaction BUSB.

  • In which tables sap does not add partitions to partitioned tablespaces

    Hi Team,
I would like  to know in which tables sap does not add partitions to partitioned tablespaces in a BW 7.00 system on aix db2. any idea?
    DB2 version is 8.1.5
    Thanks,
    Asad
Message was edited by: Asad S Zafer

    The documentation you quote says
Local and global indexes associated with the range-partitioned table remain usable. When you added a partition, the indexes remained usable, just as it said they would:
when checked for the status of the indexes, I can still see them as USABLE.so I'm not sure what the issue is.
btw I'm not sure what you mean by
creating a table and adding local and global partition using the ALTER CommandDid you mean the ALTER TABLE command? What are "local and global partitions" and how did you add them?

<b>Screen text</b>:They are labels that you can display beside your selection-screen parameters/select-options.. from the ABAP editor, use the menu option Go to> Text Elements>Selection Texts.
    <b>GUI STATUS</b>:go through this link

<b>gui title</b>:The GUI status and GUI title are interface elements of screens. You create both of them using the Menu Painter in the ABAP Workbench. On screens, GUI statuses of type dialog status are used.

Are you talking about the green '+' button in the top left corner? That technically doesn't enlarge it. It switches the window from the default window size to the custom size you made. You can enlarge the window by moving your mouse to the bottom right corner of the window, and dragging until you get the size you want.

  • Decided to update iphone 4 to ios 5.1 and mid update it froze and the screen is black.  Phone does not respond to any combinations of home and power buttons, when plugged into computer it does not see it is plugged in, any ideas?

Decided to update iphone 4 to ios 5.1 and mid update it froze and the screen is black.  Phone does not respond to any combinations of home and power buttons, when plugged into computer it does not see it is plugged in so I cannot restore or anything.  Looks like the screen is on it's just unresponsive and black obviously.  Has anyone had this problem?  I was updating via wifi right in front of my router and my computer.

Spoke to a "senior advisor" in the Apple TV department.  Her suggestions:  change channel in router to minimize/eliminate wifi interference from other users; move router away from any metal - i.e., DVD player, phone modem, etc.; keep router away from wireless 2.4 gH phones, which are "notorious" for crashing wifi routers.  So she confirms that the problem is one of connection to router suddenly dropping out.
My own feeling is that none of these fixes will do the trick, because it seems pretty clear that there is a hardware component here - the timing of the drops seems like an overheating issue.  It takes 35-40 minutes for the box to warm up enough for the first drop; then each consecutive drop happens quicker than the one before, as it heats up more.  Each time it drops, its tiny brain gets a little more scrambled; last night it finally wouldn't start up again at all.
My suggestion is that everyone who is experiencing this problem, please call Apple tech support and ask to speak to a senior advisor in the Apple TV department.  Make them aware of this problem!

  • PO creation-ME21n-Why SAP does not check company code and Plant relation

    Hi All,
Does someone know, why SAP does not check Plant and company code relation at the time of PO creation or how can we put validation between plant and company code at the time of PO creation.
<b>Example:</b> Suppose i have a company 0001 which is assinged to Plant 0001. when i am creating a PO with another company code 0002(Entering at header level-Org, data) and using Plant 0001 at line item level. SAP does not do this validation.
How can we put this check in place?
    Thanks in advance.
    Deepak

    Hello Deepak,
There are three types of purchasing
    - Company code specific :You need to assign company code to Pur organization
    - Plant specific : You must assign plant to pur organization
    - Cross company purchasing: No assignment between company code and pur organization.
In the case 3, the system will not check company code and plant relationship, but it will check plant and pur organization specific.
The following is the copy of sap help text:
You can assign a purchasing organization to one company code. This is company-specific purchasing.
You can assign a purchasing organization to no company code. This purchasing organization can then procure for all plants assigned to it, irrespective of the company code to which the plant belongs.
Since each plant must be assigned to a company code, the company code can be determined via the plant in each procurement transaction, even if the procuring purchasing organization is not assigned to a company code.
A purchasing organization must be assigned to one or more plants. This is plant-specific purchasing.
Now, check your company-code and purchase organization assignment.
    Hope this helps.
    Regards
    Arif Mansuri

  • Screen briefly flashes white but does not display the page when the Safari icon or other icons are tapped.

A problem has just started with my IPAD Air after 3 months of use.
If I try to open Safari by tapping on the icon the screen  briefly flashes white but does not display the page.
Similarly if I try to open Settings page, Mail page, Calendar or Clock the screen just briefly flashes but the Apps do not run.
Some of the Apps do work on tapping the icon e.g. Maps, iBooks, Appstore, iTunes, Newstand etc.
I do have some website links which display when the icon is tapped e.g. John Lewis but some links do not work.
I have ensured that the ipad is fully charged,  powered it off an on again, and cleaned the screen with a lint free cloth  but the
    same problem keeps occurring.

I saume you used a second display at one time, otherwise the Display settings wouldn't be treating your primary display as a secondary.
IF you open your System Preferences>Displays (-System Preferences) and click "Gather Windows" it should pull everything to the display on which you clicked it.

  • Object Category CL_ABAP Class does not exist

    Hi Experts,
When Iam creating a workflow tasks or template the object category CL_ABAP Class does not exist in drop down box. Only BOR Business object is appearing. Could anyone help me the problem and how to resolve it.

    Jose,
Note: If you are in a 6.20 system and can't see the Object Category choice "ABAP Class", then you first need to execute report SWF_CATID to enable "ABAP Classes" as an available object category. It's already done for you in releases 6.40 and higher.
I am guessing you are in SAP_BASIS 620 version.

    Hope this will help.

PS: Small correction report name is RSWF_CATID not SWF_CATID
