Transport SLD & XCM configuration

Hello,
Can we transport SLD & XCM configuration from one system to another.
If yes what is the prcedure for the transport.
Regards
Deb
[points guranteed for helpful answers]

you have to create external alias and point that to your actual SICF service. make all configurations in the external alias and transport the same.

  • Not able to open XCM Configuration

    Hello,
    We currently are running CRM 5.0 and are using the E-Commerce or Internet Sales Application portion of CRM. In one of our systems we cannot open our XCM Configuration page. We keep getting the following error, "ISA Framework: javax.servlet.ServletException". The XCM Page we are trying to open is https://<host>:<port>/b2b_bse/admin/xcm/init.do.
    However, when we try and open the standard B2B XCM configuration page (https://<host>:<port>/b2b/admin/xcm/init.do), we can pull that up with no problems.
    Anyone have any ideas where the configuration of opening the XCM page is located? Has anyone ever experience this issue before?
    We do have a SAP Customer message open, but they are saying it's a custom application so not much help.
    Thanks,
    Dale Dingmann

    I've found the solution for this problem. Follow this step
    step 1. Before install management service copy the environment variable value of PATH in a notepad. For this Select MyComputer-> Do right click->click on advance tab->Click Environment Variables>Under System Variables you see a variables called PATH->select and click on Edit button You will get the value of PATH Value.
    Step 2. Now you do Management Service installation
    Step 3. Again you do the same step as STEP 1(Make sure you should do this).
    Step 4. Now you copy the content which you have copy in step 1 and paste it in PATH Variable
    Step 5. Now you try to open.
    Step 6. Now You restore the content of PATH Variable which you have copy(STEP 3) after installation so the Management Service will work fine

  • Problem in setting up XCM Configuration for Local Server

    Hi
    I have installed Local J2ee engine on my computer and have deployed E Commerce B2B B2C sca packages.
    I am trying to complete the XCM configuration for my Local Engine. For below 4 links, I have done the configuration, creation of JCO, Shop, etc is done and have tested the JCO, the test is successful.   JCOs are pointing to ECC 6.0 which is development server and on development server the XCM configuration is working fine.
    http://<host>:<port>/b2b/admin/xcm/init.do
    http://<host>:<port>/b2c/admin/xcm/init.do
    http://<host>:<port>/isauseradm/admin/xcm/init.do
    http://<host>:<port>/shopadmin/admin/xcm/init.do
    But below 2 links are not working and I am getting "Page can not be displayed" error.
    http://<host>:<port>/isauseradm/init.do
    http://<host>:<port>/shopadmin/init.do
    I need to created 2 shops in http://<host>:<port>/shopadmin/init.do but since the page is not displaying I am not able to proceed and hence when I try to login to b2b b2c application
    http://<host>:<port>/b2b/init.do and http://<host>:<port>/b2c/ init.do , I am getting an error
    "The shoplist read from buffer is empty",
    I think this error can be resolved by creating 2 shops in http://<host>:<port>/shopadmin/init.do, but
    http://<host>:<port>/shopadmin/init.do itself in not displaying.
    Please can you help.
    Thanks

    Hi
    I checked the mentioned Patch Levels, everything seems to be fine.
    After I did few changes in JCOs and checked the XCM configuration throughly shopadmin URL (http://<host>:<port>/shopadmin/shopadmin/init.do) has started working.
    Now I have maintained 2 shops and can see the B2B and B2C web portals fine.
    But as soon as I select any material, it is giving error saying error in XCM configuration related to IPC.
    could you pleaase help me out with this?
    Also, as soon as I click on the B2B Login link, it dumps.
    And useradmin URL  http://<host>:<port>/isauseradm/useradmin/init.do   is still giving "Page can not be displayed",
    These problems are related to XCM configuration, but not sure where exactly and which configuration is missing. please can you suggest ? Any XCM configuration related document will also be helpful.

  • Error with Transport system not configured that may be related to CHaRM

    Who has in depth knowledge on setting up SAP Solution Manager CHaRM. Had an odd problem with the transport system failing when the QA system was shut down for maintenance. Transports were not able to be created or save to.  Error message was Transport System not configured.  Brought up QA and re-distributed system and Transport group and transport requests started working again.

    Hello,
    if a system, e.g. QA system, will not be available due to a maintenance task,
    we set the status of this system to "temporarily inactive" (see header data in transaction SMSY).
    This status allows us, to create new transport requests in DEV-System although consolidation system QA is not available.
    (Of course you have to reset the status, when QA-system ist started again.)
    Hint: it is not possible to release or to import a transport request, when consolidation system is shut down.
    Therefore the developer should pay attention to the messages, which raise in urgent corrections.

  • XCM configuration does not start up

    hi,
    I deployed a standard b2b shop and configured the shop. The shop works fine. In the next step I created a develpment track in NWDI and deployed the created shop to the same J2EE Engine.
    When I try to call up the XCM configuration an error page comes up. In the logfiles I can see the following error message:

    Any Idea? Could this be related to Note 881597?

  • ISA Framework:[XCM configuration]='zcrmordermaintain002' does not exist.

    Hi all,
    While configuring a configurable product in service order and service quotation i am getting this error.
    " ISA Framework: The XCM configuration='zcrmordermaintain002' does not exist."
    When i simulate the configuration itself in product master it works fine but the mentioned error occurs
    when i try to edit the product model in the Service Quotation.
    I have already maintain a JCO connection for "Zcrmordermaintain002" and "Zcrmproductsimulation002 " and made an entry of it in the Table "COMM_IPC_PROP".  Do is miss some other entries ?
    Please help me to fix the error.
    Thanks in Advance,
    Regards,

    Hi experts,
    I am able to see the Product Configuration in the Business Transactions
    In my case there were two mistakes.
    Instead of Zcrmordermaintain002 i had configuration as zcrmordermaintain002.
    I guess it should be the problem but i regenerated it.
    Secondly i created 2 separate JCO connections for zcrmproductsimulation and for zcrmordermaintan002.
    For me it worked dat way...
    But the further Problem what i am facing is:
    When i select the configuration in the transaction it is not saving and it show a script error in the explorer
    Stating:
    Error on the page : Access Denied
    Code: 0
    Any Suggestion what could be the problem ?

  • Where the SLD is configured and running for entire landscape.

    Hi!...
    Where the SLD is configured and running for entire landscape.How do i find it out
    i guess, it's configured on solution manager. So,how to check? Can anyone please explain me step by step.
    Thanks.

    Hi Irfan,
    SLD is configured using SMSY transaction. You can use SMSY transaction and there you can see what are all the systems that have been added to the Solution Manager System Landscape.
    Different nodes are available for products, systems, logical components in the system landscape.

  • Transport Management System Configuration

    Hi,
    I have a question here, on Transport Management System.
    We have new 64 bit boxes. I first migrated our dev SCM 4.0 box from 32 bit to 64 bit, it asked for being a Domain Controller. Configured it as a Domain Controller, and continued with the upgrade and completed the upgrade.
    Now, I am going to the second box (QAS). I have performed the migration from 32 bit to 64 bit. Now, when I login to this box, in my understanding, TMS should offer to make this system part of the already existing domain right? It doesn't happen that way. It is forming itself again as a domain controller. After some changes and update configurations on both the boxes, the QAS box now says, "Waiting to be added into the domain by the domain controller" something similar to this. But, when I go and login to the domain controller (DEV), it doesn't show anything there.
    In the QAS system when I go to the System Overview, I see both the systems but, they both show under the two different transport groups. I am totally confused here. Am I doing something wrong here? The only problem I see here is, the domain controller (DEV) is on SCM 5.0 as it is already upgraded from SCM 4.0 but the QAS is still in SCM 4.0 and waiting to be upgraded. Do you think this could be a potential problem? If so, what is the solution to continue with the upgrade because, I am sure the upgrade won't work without the Transport Management System configured properly.
    Please help.
    Thank you.

    Hi Gus,
    Thank you for the prompt response. Thank you.
    There are couple of things to be considered before following your suggestion.
    1. Our QAS box is in Kernel 6.40 (32 bit) and my DEV (upgraded) is in Kernel 7.00 (64 bit). In this kind of heterogeneous environment, I am sure the R3trans versions should be different. Is it possible to configure the transport management using the shared transport directory (Transport Group)?
    2. Now, when I login to the QAS box, as I said in my previous message, I see two entries. One it should the APD (Domain Controller) with a different transport group. And I see the APQ in a different transport group. The problem here is, I cannot edit or delete any of the entries in the APQ - STMS because, it keeps saying all changes could be made only in the domain controller. A point to be noted here is, even though it shows two different transport group, it points to the same transport domain 'DOMAIN_APD'. Another thing to be noted here is when I look at the domain controller (APD), I don't see an entry for APQ or any awaiting approval requests.
    Kindly suggest what needs to be done here.
    Thank you.

  • Custom XCM configuration.

    Hi ,
    I have a requirement where I need to configure Custom Scenario XCM Extension data. It means I need to create  a new node and with default values. I tried to follow the developer guide which helps me to create Application configuration data but not the scenario XCM Extension data.
    Please help in the same.
    Thanking you in advance.
    Regards,
    Sarath.

    Hello,
    I've finally found a solution so I post it, maybe it will be helpful for someone
    First, modifying customer config-data.xml and scenario-config.xml from NWDS doesn't work for this purpose. Here is what I've done and works but maybe there is a better solution ??
    - add the component : like explained in dev & ext guide, download config-data.xml from xcm and modify it to add the component :
      <component id="myparams">
        <configs>
          <config id="myparamsconfig">
            <params id="default">
              <param name="param1" value=""/>
            </params>
          </config>
        </configs>
      </component>
    and upload the config-data.xml in XCM.
    - add the component to the scenario (in my example b2ccrmstandard), for this modify sap scenario-config.xml (not customer or xcm file, the sap file in crmisaweb~b2c DC, xcm/sap/configuration) and add the line for your new params :
    <scenarios>
       <scenario name="b2ccrmstandard" shorttext="CRM standard configuration for B2C, using javabasket,javatemplate, and CRM order" ccmsscenname="b2ccrmst">
          <configparams>
             <configparam name="sebparamsdata" value=""/>  <!-- <<<------ this line added -->
          </configparams>
    I haven't found any solution to do this in a customer file ... If you have one I'm interested.
    - like explained in dev & ext guide, modify customer xcmadmin-config.xml (in crmtcweb~core DC) to add the component AND scenario metadatas :
    <xcmadmin>
       <componentmetadata>
          <component id="myparams" shorttext="My settings" scope="scenario">
             <longtext>
                My settings
             </longtext>
             <params>
                <param name="param1" type="text" shorttext="param1">
                   <longtext/>
                </param>
             </params>
          </component>
       </componentmetadata>
       <scenariometadata>
          <paramconstraint name="myparamsdata" type="optional" component="myparams">
             <longtext>Define my parameters.</longtext>
             <allowedvalue type="derived" value="myparamsconfig" shorttext="Enable my config"/>
             <allowedvalue type="fix" value="" shorttext="Disable my config"/>
          </paramconstraint>
       </scenariometadata>
    </xcmadmin>
    For the scenario metadata, the 2 allowed values let the choice to the user between an empty value (disabled) and a configuration created based on the myparamsconfig configuration of the myparams component (type="derived"). So it will work like the other components of the scenario (ui, jco, etc.). That's good for my need but you should need an other configuration.
    - Build and deploy
    Then the myparams > myparamsconfig appears under Components > SAP and Components > Customer, you can create different configurations (that you will link to different XCM scenarios), and the dropdownlist myparamsdata appears in the b2ccrmstandard scenario (display advanced settings) and in all the customer scenarios based on the b2ccrmstandard, so you can choose a different config for each customer scenario.
    I don't have tried yet but you should access to these parameters like explained in the dev & ext guide at section "API for reading XCM parameter Values".
    Remember to modify other config-data.xml by downloading/uploading them when you will transport the modifications through your different environments with NWDI !
    Enjoy !

  • My SLD is configured in SOLMAN sys, How can I connect it with SAP PI system

    Dear Friends
           My Basis has configured SLD in Solman, Now I cant use SXMB_IFR tcode in my PI that suggest me some error. saying "error in connection cant read secure connection config" or something like that.  Plus SLDCHECK tcode is also not happy. it suggest that RFC connections are missing.
         It is clear that My SLD is not linked with PI system. something is missing in technical system part and its not even bridged. but since I am not a BASIS guy I dont know How can I configure it. Not even my BASIS guy understands that I need to bring SOLMAN SLD to PI.
    Can anyone suggests me How can I bring my SOLMAN SLD to PI system so I can run SXMB_IFR tcode ? I need to create some rfc connection like LCRSAPRFC and SAPSLDAPI but dont know the connection type like t, or something else. Please englight me by suggesting How can I bring my SOLMAN SLD to PI.
    One intresting observation is when I try to run my SLD over url using PI system as host it comes but says SLD is not configured properly and when I did the same practice with SOLMAN host it works fine and I didnt receive any error.
    Please reply me. your any help will be appreciated greatly.
    Regards
    Naeem

    Hi,
    Preferebly PI should have it's own SLD. And SOLMAN could use PI's SLD.
    Please check Installation guide and SLD Administration Guide from Service Market place before finalizing SLD architecture in your System landscape.
    I guess SOLMAN will have only one Instance in system landscape. (Not three system landscape like Dev, Qa, Prod).
    If you want to go ahead with your current SLD plan, then Change your SLD hostname in Exchange Profile of PI, to SOLMAN Host name.

  • How to transport FM retraction configuration if source-system changes?

    Hi experts,
    I have configured FM retraction in ERP through SPRO connecting it to my Dev source system in my Dev ERP. What do I need to do to transport this configuration to my production ERP and make sure the BI source-system changes from Dev to Prod as well? Is there some kind of souce-system mapping as there is in the BI side for the extraction?
    For example, I have everything set-up for source-system BWD and I want it to change to BWP when I transport the configuration from ERP dev to ERP prod.
    Thanks

    Hi Christian,
    Thanks for your reply, but I didn't get anywhere in OKE7 & OKE8 to include the credit records I made in KSAZ in a Transport.
    Can you elaborate it more.
