Transport system: errors on import

Hi,
we have a report program with 35 includes as our developing guideline require an own include for each FORM routine.
I made a couple of changes including the creation of new FORMs with new includes. Transport from develeopment to test without problems. After optimization I had finally 3 transports in Test system.
They were imported with STMS together into production. This caused a generation error in one of the transports because an include was reported missing that was in one of the other transports.
It was OK just to re-generate the program in productive system, now everything is fine. But additionally I had to update the navigation index and refresh the object tree in SE80 to see all objects.
But a bitter taste remains: I expected the transport system to be aware of all objects in all transports imported together.
Can you explain this behaviour and give any hints to vaoid this in the future.

so this means that transporting together and transporting in sequence is just the same?
Meanwhile I saw that already my first transport to test system had the error reporting a missing form routine although the routine was included in one of the transported includes.
Possibly a weakness in the system: The new Form has a similar name to an old existing form. The old name is 25 chars long, the new forms name is 29 chars long; old name + 4 chars suffix.
This may have confused the system.

CTS+ : Error while importing transport into Portal QA system

Hi All,
we have configured CTS+ for Portal systesms, then we have created a
test transport in Portal Development system (PD5). SOlution manager is the communication systesm. We are also able to release this transport from transport organizer web UI.
This tranpsort is available in transport queue of Portal Qua system , but on importing this transport in PQ7 we are getting following
error
Problem during file access, stopping. Error is:'The file (/usr/sap/trans_SM/data/PD5K900003/Test_CTS_20110215_031956.epa) does
not exist on the filesystem.'.
We have checked in /usr/sap/trans_SM/data/PD5K900003/ file
Test_CTS_20110215_031956.epa exist.
CTSDEPLOY and sap.com/com.sap.tc.di.CTSserver connection are working fine.
Kindly suggest.

Transport Error when Importing appset in target system

We are receiving the below error when importing the appset TEST in Quality system.
We have include all the objects in the transport by setting UJT_TRANS_CHG to D for all TLOGO objects.
Any clues to what the problem could be?

Thanks for reply.
We have checked driver dim and region dim(s) members. Its looks fine. Even though we are facing import error.
As per basis guidance we have executed program SE38--> UJA_DATA_CHECKER on source system appset. And observed there are several errors showing up related to BPFs & Invalid attribute name ACCTYPE for CO_ENTITY dimension.
If any of you faced similar issue. Please share your input in this regard.

Error while importting Transport Request

Hi,
I am getting following errors while Transporting requests from Development to Test System
Error getting fields for PSA /BIC/B0000643
Error occurred during post-handling RS_AFTER_IMPORT ofr DTPA L
The Transport request just contains one Transformation the corresponding DTP.
We are using BI 7 for Bank Analyzer and have just imported SP11. This problem has started coming only after the import of SP11.

Yes the DS were active. I tried to re-transport that too but the TR failed with similar error.
Finally I tried to manually activate the DTP in the Target system and got the same error. I rectified the problem by deleting the DTP from the Target system. But I am not sure why this happened. Please let me know if you have any idea abt the same.

Error While importing SAP query into quality system

When Itried to import the dataset(Transport Request) generated in develoment system into Quality system I am getting the following error.
Query already exists and Infoset contains a structures which is not there in data dictionary .

You need to transport your Z tables to the quality.
Make sure you transport all the data elements , domain.. etc to the quality.
Thats why its giving you the error.
It does not find the Z tables in Quality

Source System Error While transporting

Hi SDN,
We are transporting requests to a deployment test box SN1 and we are getting this error message while we never got this error message transporting to QAS and in QAS we did not need to create DEV010 as a source system - setting up RFC connection was sufficient.
Any thoughts?

The imported data for data source 8ZM_C42 was deleted again as the referenced source system does not exist and no mapping is defined in table RSLOGSYSMAP to an available productive source system.
Procedure
Create the referenced source system in the Administrator Workbench or define a mapping to a known source system in table RSLOGSYSMAP.
You get to the maintenance using Tools -> Conversion of the logical system names.

Speak to your basis team and ask them to make entries in table:
RSLOGSYSMAP .
Are you trying to transport info source or any source system dependt object? If so, this error is understandable.
This has been discussed several times and pl search the forum.

Error with Transport system not configured that may be related to CHaRM

Who has in depth knowledge on setting up SAP Solution Manager CHaRM. Had an odd problem with the transport system failing when the QA system was shut down for maintenance. Transports were not able to be created or save to. Error message was Transport System not configured. Brought up QA and re-distributed system and Transport group and transport requests started working again.

if a system, e.g. QA system, will not be available due to a maintenance task,
we set the status of this system to "temporarily inactive" (see header data in transaction SMSY).
This status allows us, to create new transport requests in DEV-System although consolidation system QA is not available.
(Of course you have to reset the status, when QA-system ist started again.)
Hint: it is not possible to release or to import a transport request, when consolidation system is shut down.
Therefore the developer should pay attention to the messages, which raise in urgent corrections.

We are getting an error while trying to create an Universe via Microsoft -> MS Analysis Services 2014 -> OLEDB for OLAP Provider under Connection in UDT -"DBD: Error while trying to load the transport provider for odbc. Failed to load the library. System error: The specified module could not be found." We have installed BI 4.1 SP05 in our system. As per earlier posts in scn in BO XI 3.x this issue used to be for improper installation of Integration KIT but in our scenarion Integration KIT is within the BO 4.1 package so no seperate installation is required. Moreover I have checked whether all the driver is present under file: "C:\Program Files (x86)\SAP BusinessObjects\SAP BusinessObjects Enterprise XI 4.0\dataAccess\connectionServer\drivers" and seems everything is fine. But still I am getting this error. One important point is we could use IDT because in IDT still we don't have option to connect with 'Microsoft Analysis Services - 2014 (XMLA)' as we are using Microsoft Analysis Services 2014 version.
Kindly help if anyone has faced the same problem with SAP BO 4.1.

The problem is solved now after installing "OLEDB drivers from SQL Server 2012 Feature Pack". We had OLEDB drivers that comes directly from SQL Server but that did not worked out in our case.

BI Transport Req Error 8 - Error in Import and Method Execution

Hi All,
I have collected the Update Rule in a Transport Request. The Update Rule has couple of lookup routine(s) for the data and key field.
When Moved the transport request to Quality the same is ending with error 8.
Error at the time of Import
R3TRROUT 3AQ..........was repaired in this system
Object R3TRROUT 3AQ.......... is in repair status. Therefore cannot be imported
Procedure: If you still want to import release the relevant repair and repart the import
Error message at Method Execution Log
Object ROUT 3AQ.... has not been imported successfully
The Object R3TRROUT 3AQ.......... has not yet been imported without error.
Import Post Processing is not performed for this InfoObject.
Note : I have tried this couple of times but the error remains same. Checked the Routines in development and quality and they are all same....Could not able to analyse what exactly is the error.
Please help. I am not able to understand how to go a head.

Iu2019m going try to help you regarding your question,
I have been a similar problem with transformation, the transport request after accept in the system target have given a similar error. I have fixed following the next step:
u2022 I activating again the source and target, if those source and target was changed it is important to transport before the update rule.
u2022 When you are sure that you have the same source and target in both systems, furthermore both have been activated, you can move on with the transport request of update rule.

Export/Import Transport package error.

Hi,
I created a transport package as follows:
System admin>transport>export>(in a folder)>new transport package.
added the content(a folder) PCD.
in properties: References Filter:*
Exported it and saved on my local machine. (as .zip file)
When im trying to import the same in another instance, im getting an error as:
"Could not upload file. Check the log files for details."
I checked in the log file and it says:
"java.io.IOException: Bad ZIP file format: D:\usr\sap\DEV\tmp\_htmlb13135711805411293310975743163865.tmp; does not contain a package file. "
Please help me to understand where the error is!.

I think that Package file donu2019t have any Portal Content. We have to Export the portal Content .epa file structure and import that .epa into another portal Server. Donu2019t Save .zip file
Please follow these Steps
How to Export Package from Portal Component
1.Go to System Administrator-Transport-Transport Package-Click on ExportPortal ContentGo to our Folder (SapExample)-RC-NEW-Click on Transport Package
Here create one Transport Package.
Transport Package Name: Pack1
Transport Package ID: PackID1
Next--FINISH-Select Open object for editing---- OK
iView/Page/Work Set/Role/Folder/-RCClick on Add Object to Transport Package-Click on Export button
Here Change File Name: Pack1.epa-----Click on Start Export Button.
Now you will see that Pack1.epa file created or not
Go this Path D:\usr\sap\System ID\Instance Name\global\pcd\Export
Here Pack1.epa File Available.
Or you can download from portal also. When you are export that .epa file click on Start Export Button after one download link available. So we can download here also.
How to Import to Portal Component
2. Go to System Administrator--Transport Package--Click on IMPORT
Select Source for Package Files: Client
Browse the Pack1.epa file--And click on Upload--Click on Import button.

Line truncation error while importing ECC 6.0 transports in R/3 4.6C

Hi,
We are trying to import few objects which have been created in ECC6.0 into SAP 4.6C system.
While importing the transport we are getting errors for all lined of code which exceed 72 characters. The transport log shows the following error:
*line XYZ is too long, truncated from 255 to 72 bytes. *
Any suggestions to remove this error ?

I have transported the sld and design objets sucessfully to production from dev.
When i am doing for configuration objects there i getting error the error is
Import failed because of business system transfer of object Service | BS_Test_Receiver: Obligatory transport target for business system BS_Test_Receiver not found in System Landscape Directory.
please give me steps to solve this issue..

as per your error, you need to maintain transport target while transferring the business system,in Business System Attribute

I got the following error while importing data into 9.2.0.6 DB .
It is related to a SYSTEM object.

Constarint exists on Composite Primary Key on the parent table.

don't mentioning why are You importing SYSTEM objects, the error that You have, just looking the message, is due to an export done without the clause CONSISTENT=Y (so all relations parent/child preserved) having the replication (the table in error is one of the replication dictionary table) active (not quisced)
Repeat the export operation using CONSISTENT=Y an stop replication activity.

I have a query in Dev system which is moved to production and i am able to edit the query in dev.But my problem is when i tried to create a view on that query and save the view, it is throwing me a error
"The standard transport system is active.You cannot save"

Transport managment, source system changed in import

Hi all,
i faced with the need to change the source system in transport management. I mean, dev source system to assign a different test system source. now is the following:
InfoPackage ZPAK_4MSK400H4M9FGMEKV9ZGDSN4M, source system LGDCLNT300 changed by source system LGTCLNT010 in import (tr STMS).
I'm looking for opportunities to change the target source systems LGPCLNT010.
Where can I find a setting to change the source system during the import?

PS LGPCLNT010 source system already exists in test. only need to assign LGDCLNT300 (DEV) -> LGPCLNT010 (TEST).

The entries are maintained in table RSLOGSYSMAP. Goto SM30 put the table name and click on maintain.
Or simply goto transport connection from RSA1 and click on "Conversion button" on tool bar.
