Transport to Productiion Server

Hi Experts.
I have created a flow service in Business Connector and need to transport it to Production server, I have no idea related to transport of business connector services.
can anyone please tell me how to transport it to PRD and what are the steps i have to follow.

The transports pertaining to pricing procedure are client dependent ones whereas the ones related to condition table are client independent(Table creation)
So first check the objects of the transport which is now in Quality server in the previous server itself. Mostly it will not have any Atables (Atables are the condition tables).
First pls check whether the transport mechanism for client dependent and client independent tports are same or different.
If same, and if the objects are there in the transport in the first server, then check its log while transporting to quality server.
If different, please follow the procedure for client independent tports and move the condition tables .
I think access seq is again client dependent. So take care of condition tables and access sequences in different transports to take care of the scenario.
In our project the tport mechanisms are different for client dependent and client independent tports and hence we follow separate procedure for condition table and access seq(in 2 different transports)

'Screen does not exist' error after transported to Quality server.

I have a report program which is working fine in development server. It is transported to quality server and when executed it throws dump. There is a CALL SCREEN statement in the program and the dump shows screen 1001 does not exists. I checked the program on quality server and when i double clicked on the screen number, it tells screen 1001 does not exist and do you want to create??. I rechecked the program in Development server and confirmed everything is active and have been catched in the transport request. When I checked with the basis guy, he said there was a component conflict error with the request while transporting and he overrided it.
Please tel me what should I do to solve this issue. Its very urgent. Please help.

You seem to have run into some trouble with transports. Did someone perhaps develop this report in the QA server?
I would suggest this:
In SE80. display your report. Then in the hierarchy on the left, right click on your report and select 'write transport entry' . This option will ask you to create a new transport for your report and all objects inside it. Take that transport to the QA server. It should include the entire report, including screens.
If you have trouble importing into the QA server, please provide the transport logs here.

Issue on transport to quality server

Hi all,
my basis guy has released all the transport requests to the quality server. But i cld not see any condition tables or access sequence copied in my quality server.
in SE10 there is only request on Pricing Procedure, there fore the pricing is been copied in quality but with descriptions of condtion types, access sequence and condition types .
plz suggest me what shld i do now in this case.

Transporting from DEV server to Production Server

Dear Experts,
Like in ABAP and other SAP modules we are having Transport Requests to transport from Dev server to Production server In XI how can we transport all the configuration done by me from Dev server to Production server.

In XI we can transport in two ways :
1) File Transport
2) Using CMS which needs configuration to be done
Using the File Transport you can easily the Export the Objects and Import the Objects in the Target system.
Select the Object in the Design or Configuration ->right Click you will find Export option.
When you select the It creates the .tpz file which can be imported in the Target System
Using file transfer or CMS we transport xi objects.

SAP Script not getting transported to Production server

Hi Friends,
The office address in the Purchase Order has been changed using T-code SE71. The changes are getting transported to QA Server, but not getting transported to Production Server.
Kindly let me know why this change is not getting transported to Production server and also guide me to correct the same.

Error while transports to BIQ server!!

hello Experts
I transported a request from my BI Dev Server to Bi Q server and got following errors.
Infoobject 0DOC_HD_TXT is not available in version A
Changes cannot be made , display user only.
Error Saving Transformation 066D9XLUHM13U11REE47IT7Z5YP9BSWN
the transport is reyurned an error code 8.
kindly let me know how to solve this......

You may have installed info object 0DOC_HD_TXT from business content which is used in one of transformations in your transport. Either you have missed to inculde this infoobject in transport or somehow it got deactivated in target system if it was transported earlier .

Pricing,conditions transport to another server

Hi
my client had a pricing procedure in which a condition type had delivery cost with accural.after using for some time they wanted delivery cost to be deleted & price to add in material cost.
i had made changes in Development client(100) & generated transport request.when technical people tried to transport it to another server with release (SCC9 ).system says the requet is transported but the data is not transported.
I would like to know whether condition types ,pricing procedures can be transported with release only or any other procedure required?
In local clients 100 to 400 we used to do by SCC1 but server to server few requests were troubling.
Need your valid suggestions.

I did some tracing for the query. I don't understand much from the trace file, but there is one line which says: '*** ERROR: memory leak detected 316 ***'. I can't find anything concerning this memory leak. Does anyone have an idea what the reason is?
What I also would like to know is, how a calculation, which is created in JDeveloper, is saved. Only as XML or are there also Metadata concerning the calculation stored in the database?

Solman project transport from one server to another

Hi All,
i have a small query , regarding project management . I have a Template project with some manually designed tamplate inside that. and test case created.
Now i want to move this project with all config. , selected template and test case from one server my another solman server.
I am hoping transport icon given below in solar_project_admin will work for me . please confirm me and let me know if other options too available . can i use solar_migration for this activity ??
please suggest all possible way for export (transport) this project from one server to another.

Unfortunately, transaction SOLAR_MIGRATION is not released to be used in the Solution Manager 4.0/7.0 and therefore is not supported.

Dear All,
I did request from One client to Other client in Same Server. Its working fine.
But I don't know, How to transport Request between One server ( QTY ) to Another Server ( DEV ).
Let me know.

DEV --> QAS is a straight way which will be done by your BASIS team.
If you have different requirement than this, also contact them.

If Objects i.e SLD, Repository Objects, Directory Objects etc go thru this 3 series blog :

How to Setup Transport on Windows Server

Hi guys,
I'm trying to setup a transport between two systems. I have done it inthe past in Unix but never done it in Windows. It is kinda difficult for me in Windows.
Can you please help me understand the setup.
Server 1. >> PC1
Server 2. >> PC2
I have made PC1 a domain controller and shared its /usr/sap/trans to PC2. Also updated TMS parameters in PC2 pointing DIR_TRANS to PC1/usr/sap/trans, but It is not showing up in PC1 (domain controller)

On the Server where you want to share \usr\sap\trans for the landscape( I assume Server1 or PC1 in your terms), login as windows domain admin ( or with admin rights) --> right click my computer --> Manage --> click on Local Users and Groups --> Double click on administrators --> and add users of SAPService<SID> of the other server ( your Server 2 or PC2) and clock pk Ok.
This should resolve the problem.
Concept is, giving other server to read and write access to shared drive of Transport directory. There can be no. of days do implement it depending on in House Windows Skills and Secuirty audits, but the above method works.

Deployment Error when transporting to TEST server

Hi experts,
I'm having a deployment error when transporting my dc from development server to test server using the Change Management Service - Transport Studio.
In the error message, there is the mention of the following sentence:

But the dc is using only the standard default dcs like:
com.sap.aii.proxy.framework (default)
com.sap.aii.util.misc (default)
com.sap.exception (default)

tc/cmi (default)
tc/ddic/ddicruntime (default)
td/ddic/metamodel/content (default)
tc/logging (default)
tc/wd/webdynpro (default)
tc/wdp/metamodel/content (default)
So could these dcs not have been deployed on the test server ?
How do we confirm this ?

Transport Request - QA Server

Hi,
I couldnt understand why Log files are not created for a Request in QA - Quality server.
In SE09 there are 4 types of Request Types exists - how to know which one to choose while creating a new Request.
I appreciate ur time.

Typically you will not go to SE09 to create a request unless you know exactly what you are doing. When you change any object, system will recognize whether it is a transportable object and if so, it will prompt you to create or choose an existing transport request number. System will also know what type of transport request it needs to create. But just for your understanding, you will create a customizing request if your changes are related to tables that are customizing tables(it is an attribute of the table). You will create a workbench request for all those objects that you work on using the workbench tools(including programs, tables, screens, status etc)
