Hi
I have a requirement where i need to post a warning message based on the date difference between Invoice date (BKPF-BLDAT) and posting date (BKPF-BUDAT) while posting a document in tcode FB60.
I tried using the tcode GGB0 to build a validation but it did not help. I looked into the available userexits (U100) and tried to implement it. However, the form U100 refuses to recognize the fields from BKPF.
Can some one throw light on how to write your own code in these userexits?
Thanks
NagHi,
For the first case where you have directly put the validation in GGB0 you can check the following things
1) Settings in Tcode OB28 for activating the validation for a paricular company code.
2) Try Running the Generation program RGUGBR00.

Hi Experts
I had created Valiation in our Quality system.
How to move it to Production.
Kindly let me know the procedure.
Thanks
KumarRajaHi,
You can transport from Validation -- Transport.
You can also transport validations using a specific Customizing transaction. In this step, you can specify which validation is to be transported. You can also specify whether the logical rules, sets, messages, application areas and Boolean classes used in the validation are also to be transported.
Actions to be followed:
- Enter the name of the validation to be transported.
- Specify which information concerning the validation is to be transported with the validation.

AIP-51505: General Validation Error - SFTP transport - validation disabled
Configuration :
internal DC with SFTP
external DC with SFTP (via proxy)
Business Protocol Custom Document over Generic Exchange
MLR 12? (patch 8703404)
3 environments have the same tip.properties
2 environments pick up and send all files successfully.
I cannot see a difference between the deployments that is causing the validation error.
[also in all three B2B's are an ebXML and AS2 trading partner configuration]
The 3rd generates validation errors for all files (14) in the b2b.log and sends some (1-7).
Note that the sent ones change, if a failed one is retried in the source directory, sometimes it is sent successfully.
In the failing/validating deployment there is no validation for (cut and pasted from UI screens) :

I've updated the IDC transport server to 3 different filename_formats, and tried the corresponding files, with correct names to match the filename_format.
After updating the IDC I validated the trading partner (host).
I then updated the agreement using the updated IDC, and validated the agreement.
I then validated the host again.
Then I created a new deployment.
And still received the error.
I then deleted the old IDC and created a new IDC and new agreement and new deployment, trying 3 different "Internal delivery channel filename format" values (updating and validating the agreement and host trading partner each time).
And still received the error.
No matter what I set EITHER the IDC "filename format" OR "Internal delivery channel filename format", the b2b.log always reports :
filename_format = %TO_PARTY%_%DOCTYPE_NAME%_%TIMESTAMP%.txt
e.g.

So, the timestamp gets ignored (as there is no "_" delimiter), but it still fails, probably because there is no timestamp in the filename.
So, why won't the UI correctly set the IDC filename_format or Internal filename_format ? -
Validations(TCode GGB0) are client dependent how to move from one client t
Hi All,
I have done chabges in Validation set (Requirement from FICO Functional). As Validations are client dependent. I done the changes in 200 client now Functional want me to do these in 100 client. So Will SCC1 TCode will wrok in this case ? Or there is any other method to transport from one client to other.
Thanks..Dear friend .
SCC1 works finely in this case. You have To create request and move it to development And for production transport this request..

FI Validations in GGB0 at complete document level
Hi
I have a requirement where i need to do a validation in FV60/65. Earlier, for a similar requirement for validation at the header level, i have used GGB0 and wrote custom code in the available userexit ( i had made a copy of RGGBR000 and implemented custom code in the copy) and replaced the standard program RGGBR000 in tcode GCX2)
Now, when im trying to implement a similar solution at the line item the userexits in GGB0 are not being accessed by the tcode FV60. Can someone explain where i could have gone wrong.
Note: I have activated the validations in OB28.
Thanks

I want to transport step16.
Can you please let me know how to do that.
Thankswe can not tranport step 16 separately,

Help needed on Validation exit GGB0
Hi Guys,
Pls suggest how can i go about using exit validation for callup point 3(complete document level).
i am trying to call form U101, but its not getting called.
below is the code for this form.
FORM U101 *
Example of an exit using the complete data from one *
multi-line rule. *
This exit is intended for use from callup point 3, in FI. *
If account 400000 is used, then account 399999 must be posted *
to in another posting line. *
--> BOOL_DATA The complete posting data. *
<-- B_RESULT T = True F = False *
FORM u101 USING bool_data TYPE gb002_015
CHANGING b_result.
DATA: b_acc_400000_used LIKE d_bool VALUE 'F'.
Has account 400000 has been used?
LOOP AT BOOL_DATA-BSEG INTO BSEG
WHERE HKONT = '0000400000'.
B_ACC_400000_USED = B_TRUE.
EXIT.
ENDLOOP.
Check that account 400000 has been used.
CHECK B_ACC_400000_USED = B_TRUE.
B_RESULT = B_FALSE.
LOOP AT BOOL_DATA-BSEG INTO BSEG
WHERE HKONT = '0000399999'.
B_RESULT = B_TRUE.
EXIT.
ENDLOOP.
lemi knw the process to call validation exit at complete document level (callup point 3).
actually i am not able to pass parameter bool_data. plz suggest wht do v do for tht.

Edited by: Prashant Malik on Sep 11, 2008 12:00 PMHi Prash,
in ZGGBR000 (copy of RGGBR000) you have to add your exit to internal table exits e.g.
Einfügen von U535 NB20081022
exits-name = 'U535'. "NB20081022
exits-param = c_exit_param_class. "NB20081022
exits-title = text-535. "NB20081022
APPEND exits. "NB20081022
The value c_exit_param_class for exits-param will provide you after creating the step in validation (transaction GGB=) below coding for the call of the exit in my exmaple in include GBTASFIF. With the vlaue c_exit_param_none it doesn't work. I did the same error.
FORM VALCHCK_2FI_BELG003
USING
BOOL_DATA
CHANGING
RES000.
DATA: RES001 LIKE D_BOOL.
Exit-Evaluation :RES000 *
RES000 = B_TRUE.
PERFORM U535(ZGGBR000)
IF FOUND
USING
BOOL_DATA
CHANGING
RES000.
ENDFORM. " VALCHCK_2FI_BELG003
Hope that solved your problem.

I performed language transport in our test system with Spanish (ES)as target language and EN as suppliment.Everything looks fine without any errors. I just need to validate this language transport by executing report or program. Any clue? Please explain with your suggestion.
Hi,
Thanks for your information. I got few issues, would like to explain step by step. Sorry, I am new for language translation task.
1.Login to EN system, for report RSPFPAR
SE38 > > GOTO > Translate > Original Language: EN
Target Language : ES
Choose Documentation then click Display.
Save output result
2.Login to ES for same report RSPFPAR, in SE38
Choose Documentation , click Display
Result: Sap help window screen popup with message "Display Profile Parameter" message in Spanish.
If I am wrong please correct me.
There is one more small issue in SE63.
In SE63, for long text > ABAP Dictionary > Table Documentation
For few tables I am getting message like "Table <tablename> is not active"
If you have any idea for this message please explain me.
Thanks in advance

Validation (GGB0): Using the operation "LIKE"
Hello,
I have encountered a small but agitating issue with creating the prerequisite command for the Validation (tcode GGB0).
Im trying to create a presquisite that would allow the validation to procceed if a certain string of text is not present. My current command in the Prerequisite is <b>NOT ANLA-TXT50 LIKE '%(LVA)%'</b>. Unfortunatley the equation doesnt seem to respond properly.
What is the solution to this? Or is there another solution (with the same results), that I can use?
Thank you and good day.Chad ,
cannt u make use of Exit in that GGB0 , check the Z version of program GGBS000.
these validations are associated with this program

Validation \ User-exit \ BADI \ BTE for F-43 for missing exchange rate
Hi,
I maintain the exchange rate on a daily basis in TCURR exchange rate table.
But, let's say that, by accident, in one day I fail to input the exchange rate.
In this case, when I input a invoice in F-43, I'd like for the system to issue a warning (blocking) message saying that there is no exchange rate for that specific posting (translation) date.
I tryed to create a validation for F-43. But the conditions available in validation are just too simple and I couldn't achieve my goal.
However, I saw I can attach an user exit to the validation or an user exit directly in F-43.
I found in SMOD the following user-exits for F-43 (in package FBAS), but I don't know how to use them:
F050S001 FIDCMT, FIDCC1, FIDCC2: Edit user-defined IDoc segment
F050S002 FIDCC1: Change IDoc/do not send
F050S003 FIDCC2: Change IDoc/do not send
F050S004 FIDCMT, FIDCC1, FIDCC2: Change outbound IDoc/do not send
F050S005 FIDCMT, FIDCC1, FIDCC2 Inbound IDoc: Change FI document
F050S006 FI Outgoing IDoc: Reset Clearing in FI Document
F050S007 FIDCCH Outbound: Influence on IDoc for Document Change
F180A001 Balance Sheet Adjustment
FARC0002 Additional Checks for Archiving MM Vendor Master Data
RFAVIS01 Customer Exit for Changing Payment Advice Segment Text
RFEPOS00 Line item display: Checking of selection conditions
RFKORIEX Automatic correspondence
SAPLF051 Workflow for FI (pre-capture, release for payment)
Can you help me to attach an user-exit to a validation or an user exit directly in F-43 to do the specified validation?
Or maybe this can be done with a BADI \ BTE?Thanks for the reply.
I succeded creating the validation with an user-exit. I made the following steps:
1) I created the validation in GGB0 (for document header), issuing a standard message (420 "Exchange rate not found") from message class (ZRSAU) - which is a copy of RSAU message class (in the beggining I put no pre-requisites, checks or rules, just the message).
2) In OB28 I attached the validation (with call point document header) and I made it active (without batch input).
3) I copied the RGGBR000 program (which is standard program with an example of validation) into ZRGGBR00 (it should be maximum 8 characters).
Then I changed the ZRGGBR00 program (form U100) comparing the translation date (from BKPF) with the date from table TCURR (and exchange rate type M, and documents currency other than local currency).
If the program doesn't find any exchange rate in TCURR in that date, it issues the error message (assigned in GGB0).
4) In GGB0, I put the U100 user exit as a check and rule
5) In GCX2, I attached the ZRGGBR00 program to the GBLR application area (which is for user exits for validations / rules).
Now it's working fine! -
Validation: How to maintain the entry in GB02C
HI FI GURUS n EXPERTS,
My requirement is that - We want to restrict Negative posting for some GL i.e. For some GL balance should not be Zero.
When I have made the search on SDN, I found it can be done with the help of Validation: OB28 & GGB0.
Currently we are not using any validation. When we use T-Code GGB0 --> Financial Accounting --> Line Item --> New Validation
System shows a pop-up window to select Boolean Class & Message ID.
I also found that this information is maintained in Table GB02C.
When I use Se16 to see the detail of the table GB02C, I found there is only one entry Bool. Class: FP1 & Message ID 7F.
But I don't know How to maintain the entry in table GB02C & What is the T-Code for it. which message ID I have to create.
Please help.
DSCDear Alex,
When I use: GGB0 --> Financial Accounting --> Line Item --> New Validation
System shows a pop-up window to select Boolean Class & Message Class, I select the Message Class 9 and for Message Class Press F4 and select any message class. System gives an error message: Message ID must start with 'Z' Message no. GB116.
Basically, My question is that: Which T-Code we have to use to maintain Boolean Class & Message Class.
With thanks,

Validation not working for FK01
Hi Guys,
I have written a validation using GGB0 where in i want to restrict a user for using the transaction code in FK01.
I have given the prerequisite as below
SYST-UNAME = 'SRIKANTHD' AND SYST-TCODE = 'FK01'
and Check = False
Then give an error message.
But somehow this validation is not working and i have also activated this in OB28.
Any ideas will be helpful.
Thanks,
Srikanth.Dear Srikanth,
You can choose the button Local Object instead of Save and this information will be ignored.
Then you will receive one screen to insert the enhancement, insert please SAPMF02K.
Then click on button Components and then one little screen will ask you to save. Click yes and you will see another screen with Function exit EXIT_SAPMF02K_001 fulfilled already.
Double click on EXIT_SAPMF02K_001 and the system will create the program and after that you should include your own code there.
I hope it resolves your inquiry.
Best Regards,
Vanessa. -
Hi Friends,
I am using the copy standard program 'rggbr000' to Z for my validation rule for Tcode FB60.
My requirement is when the user enter Part.Bank field(invfo-BVTYP) in Payment tab then my validation exit should done some check. The problem is, it's not going to my debug point (as it is functioning only for Basic data fields). I have tried giving break-point in various areas of exit but it's not functioning for payment tab fields while saving or performing next action.
Is this a correct validation program? or is there any other solution available?
Please advise.
PS: GGB0 decalration are done perfectly.
Thanks & Regards
Sankar.>

1. You can view the fields which can be validated in GGB0.
2. I don't think any simulation can be done via OB28. It is a simple parameter trxn of SM30 for maintaining view 'V_T001D'. Correct me if i am wrong.
