TRANSPORT Z-TABLE TO PRODUCTION SERVER.

I'VE CREATED ONE Z-TABLE,EVEN THOUGH THE Z-TABLE CONTAIN NO DATA ,WHEN I'M TRANSPORTING THIS Z-TABLE FROM DEVELOPMENT SERVER TO PRODUCTION SERVER IT IS GIVING THE ERROR
KAY MESSAGE TABLE ZPF_DETAIL 2002007011004
ENTER NUMERIC VALUES ONLY
HERE 200-DATA OF MANDT FIELD
          2007-YEAR
          01-MONTH
         1004-PERNR
WHICH I'VE ENTERED PREVIOUSLY,BUT NOW THIS TABLE CONTAIN NO DATA.
PLEASE SUGGEST ME WHAT TO DO TO TRANSPORT THE TABLE TO PRODUCTION SERVER.
PLEASE HELP ME,IT'S URGENT.

Hi,
After creating the table first activate the table
Check whether Delivery and maintenace
and Technical attribute tabs are maintained.
Once that is done transport that request to production.
To maintain the table in production you will have to create a maintenance view for the same

ZTABLE TRANSPORT WITH CONTENTS TO PRODUCTION SERVER

Hi Friends,
I had created a ztable in Developement server with 3 fields including MANDT field and added 15 records to that table. (MANDT = 500).
When I transport to QA Server, the data entered in the development server, are not visible. Again I entered the data in the QA server with MANDT = 150.
Later, I transported the table to Production server. Again here also no data found. When I tried to add entries, the system throws the following message :
   "The System Settings Do Not Allow Any Changes".
Please let me know what step I have missed out.
Also let me know the following :
1. How to transport a ztable from Devlopment server to QA/Production server with all the data.
2. How to add new entries in Productin server.

   (create an empty function group in
   new session thru se80 tcode,
   and mention it here)
2. Authorization group
   Just check out using F4
   if some Z* or Y* is avaialble or not
   (If not , ask basis team to
   create on Z/Y authorisaton group,
and mention it here)
3. Choose radio button ONE STEP
4. In overview screen text box
   , just enter 1000
5. Just enter the above fields,
and press CREATE.

How to transport infoset query to Production serveR?

when i transport everything is transported to production server. when i run the transaction in production server it shows me the error saying . PROGRAM Does not exist .. how to resolve this..
can any one help me to transport my infoset query from step-to-step.

Well there is no button as such.
I hope you must have found the Transport button.
When you click it, it gives selection screen there you can find the redio buttons.
Export will create a transport request and Download will download it to local machine.
Let me know if it doesn't work. But you have to do more analysis as to how to go this way.

Error when transporting 0MATERIAL Infoobject to Production server

When I am transporting 0MATERIAL to production I am getting this error

Transport is working fine in Quality, only in Production I am getting error.
I haven't yet started pulling data in production.
Please help. Its urgent.

Look at master data table related to your IO in se11 transaction.
Check if the data element for your 0material field is active.

Transport number ranges to production server of withholding tax

Hi
I have created the number ranges in the development server and saved in one request, but the number ranges are not working in Production system. How can i again transport the same request in production system.
I tried to transport it again but it is showing in grey mode.

Number ranges are suggested to be maintained directly in the production client.
Even if you want to transport, Go to SE01 and check that your trans then port include the number range you want to transport.

Transport Table K9RPEF1000006 from Production Server to Quality Server

Dear Friends,
I am performing client export/import activity and I have exported the Production Client with SAP Profile SAP_CUSX but when we checked log then It shows the table K9RPEF1000006 is available on production server but not available in quality server.So I have two queries ,( i) how can we create tranport request for this sap standard table (ii) How can we transport/move table from production client to quality client.

Hi Adya,
You will need to create a transport manually using SE03 or SE09 ...
R3TR TABL will transport technical settings for the table.
R3TR TABU will transport table contents.

Transporting standard table from DEV to PROD

Hi All,
I have updated a table called T166K and T166P for Purchase Order Printouts.
I have entered few values in the above mentioned tables in DEV server.
Now, i would like to move these tables to Production, since i can not create values to these tables in Production server.
How to move tables from DEV till PROD...??
NOTE: While updating these tables, system didnt prompt for saving under Transport Request Numbers in DEV server.

Hi,
You can use scatt tool to upload the data in the developement server. Prepare a file with data. Do it in developement environment only. then in SCATT you have remote logon facility using which you can run the scatt in developement environment and the result will be placed in the production server.

1. We have master data table in Production server with 2 million records.This master data table doesn't have
any Indexes created which causes the delay in Loading process. How to create indexes in production

Creating Secondary Indexes
Procedure
1.     In the maintenance screen of the table, choose Indexes.
If indexes already exist on the table, a list of these indexes is displayed. Choose .
2.     In the next dialog box, enter the index ID and choose
The maintenance screen for indexes appears.
3.     Enter an explanatory text in the field Short text.
You can then use the short text to find the index at a later time, for example with the R/3 Repository
Information System.
4.     Select the table fields to be included in the index using the input help for the Field name column.
The order of the fields in the index is very important. See What to Keep in Mind for Secondary Indexes.
5.     If the values in the index fields already uniquely identify each record of the table, select Unique index.
A unique index is always created in the database at activation because it also has a functional meaning
(prevents double entries of the index fields).
6.     If it is not a unique index, leave Non-unique index selected.
In this case you can use the radio buttons to define whether the index should be created for all database
systems, for selected database systems or not at all in the database.
7.     Select for selected database systems if the index should only be created for selected database
systems.
Click on the arrow behind the radio buttons. A dialog box appears in which you can define up to 4 database
systems with the input help. Select Selection list if the index should only be created on the given database
systems. Select Exclusion list if the index should not be created on the given database systems. Choose .
8.     Choose .

Data transport from development too production system

I created a house bank in development sever now i want to transport it in to production server so how can i transport it , please anyone give the solution urgently with screen shot

In the screen FI12 if you have filled all the relevant data, the system should propose teh request on its own. If you have missed and clubbed this in any other transport request, then you need to generate transport.
Fropm the Table view Menu select Transport. This will give you first transport request creation option and then you select the entries that you want to transport and then press button " Include in Transport".
Save entries and trans port.

Process chain issue in production server

I created the process chain to load the transaction data . Then i transported to Quality and Production server.
1) When i try to open the my process chain in RSPC in Production System. Then im not getting the process chain . But im getting black just.
But when i press 'change' button in Production Server then it says that "changes are carried out in original system" and then im getting my process chain .
2) When i try to schedule my process chain in production server then it asking for new transport request . Why it is like that . Once i transport the process chain from development server to production server. Then it shouldn't ask for new request.
Pls help in these secarios. I need urgent help .

Hi Kumar,
I don't know what the problem is but you can copy in PRODUCTION environment the process chain to a new one.
Please follow the steps:
1. Open the problematic process chain (display or change mode).
2. In the command line write the word "copy" .
3. A popup will appear, insert a new name for the new process chain and confirm.
4. The new process chain is now opened but it is not active yet.
5. Delete the "old" START event and insert a new one.
6. Activate and schedule the chain.
While activating the new chain, no transport request should appear in PRODUCTION.

Create Workbench request only.
Because when u will transport the table from development server to quality that time table records won't transport.
We don't have any TR type to transport table with records.

Transport of ABAP query to production server

Hi!
I have developed a report with ABAP query in development server with transaction codes SQ01, SQ02 AND SQ03 respectively.
I also got the program name from SQ01.
Now , how to attach a transaction code with the program that is generated from ABAP query and transport it to production server
successfully.
If the program is attached directly to the tr code through SE93 and transported----- program is not found in the pr. server.
pls help me out , requirement is very urgent.

Insert into all tables on a Database on Test Server select from all tables on a database A from production server

hi Friends ,i need a suggestion from you on how to
insert data to all tables on a Database "A " on Test server
Select data from all tables on a Database "A" on Production Server
where id=123
Database A is same with Structures on Test and Production also all Tables will have Id column in common.
The purpose of this insert is ,as we all know Production has the latest data and i need to push to test server on request for particular ID only ( may be weekly once or twice a week )
I have a linked server setup name "LINQ"
Example for one table is below , like wise i need a script which does for 154 tables.

I want to transport a request from one server(quality) to another server(production)
Can we transport a request from quality to production programatically i.e. by using programing logic.

Hi,
It cannot be done programmatically. Although it can be automated by basis guys. They configure it in TMS (Transport Management System). You can check it using STMS. (if you are authorized to view it).
Transport path are defined in TMS.
For Automated Transport configuration is done in TMS.
Generally automatic Transport are not setup between quality and production. Changes are first tested in Quality and then Transported by basis team either periodically / individually.
In case of manual transport Transport Request can be imported in production using STMS_IMPORT transaction in production. (Basis guy will do it for approved Transports)
If there is no direct connectivity - Basis people copy "data" file and "co" file and Transport it to target server (This is generally not the case in Quality - production as Transport path is always defined).

Case 1: Object is in Prod, but not in Dev. and you want to align the systems through transports.
You will have to send it to D (which could be done by changing transport routes & then following normal transport procedure) & then will have to bring it back with overwrite originals.
Case 2: Object is present both in Prod & Dev.
You can send the transports D->P with Overwrite originals (following the transport procedures).
And also could u tell me if the transfer structure is replaced if the names are different in both the server???
If technical names are different in both the servers, the transfer structure will not be overwritten.
