Transport Zone in Customer Master

Hi All
Can any one explain me how the trasport zone assign in customer master I configared the trsport zone in customisation I also find it help in customer master but Transport Zone fild is disable so can't update it in customer master
Pl help

As per SAP documentation,
Sales and distribution
the system automatically proposes a suitable route by using the transportation zone of the goods recipient in combination with other information about the delivery, such as the
Countries of origin and destination
Shipping conditions
Transportation group
Example
In the USA, for example, you can define regional zones to correspond to the US postal zip codes.
You can see the values for Transportation zones in TZONE table. The zones are defined at a country level.
For enabling the Transportation Zone, go to OBD2 transaction. Edit the Account Group of the customer and edit the field status group under General Data -> Address for transportation zone.

Transportation zone can't be change in Customer Master

Hi Guys,
I have a question regarding changing the Transportation zone in Customer Master. This area is being greyed out as I cannot change it. Even if I extend the Customer, the field for Transportation zone is greyed out. My question is, how can I change the transportation zone for an existing customer?

Transportation zone of the customer master is copied from the genenral data - address tab to the sales area data - shipping tab.
in OBD2 if you maintain general data - address as required or optional you can change in the customer master of general data - address tab, if you changed here it will copied to sales area - shipping tab

In customer master Address >> street address, small Icon to see more fields click on that,and scroll down.
you will able to see field transportation Zone, maintain here transport zone

Customer Master zone Customer Transportation Zone Is Greyed

Dear Friends
I want to make customer master transportation zone field to be optional entry.I did necessary changes in OBD2,OB20 and OVT0.After making optional entry in all area it is been with grey mode that is not editable.But if I change as required entry then it is changed as required field that is editable mode.But I need only optional entry.Can any one help me on this...

In OB20, which one you have selected and through which tcode you were checking?

Transportation Zone in Control data in Customer Master

I am trying to select transportation zone for ex 201301 from an pre-defined Transportation Zone list, but it does not get selected. what could be the issue ?

I think it is graded there.
Actually you have to maintain the transportation zone in adress tab under sub screen 'street address".
you have to click +ve sign and scroll down there you can maintain the transportation zone

no changes made.

Customer Master Time zone error

I am getting the following error in customer master upload.
"No time zone could be determined for country CS region CS postal code 1210"
Kindly provide solution to resolve.

Is there a long text for the message? What is the message id and number?
Have you defined region CS in country CS?

User Exit Or BADi for Ship-to-Party's Transportation Zone F4 Help in VA01

Dear Experts,
I want to change the F4 help of Transportation Zone in Ship-to-Party Address in VA01.
I have to show the possible entries from Z table which is compared by the city of that particular customer.
Explanation:
1. Go to Transaction VA01.
2. Enter the values in first screen and Enter.
3. select the sold to party and ship to party and Enter.
4. Enter any item in item level.
5. Press Display Doc. Header ICON.
6. Go to partners tab.
7. Double click on Ship to party.
8. One Pop up screen will open. (ie. Address from Master Data for Ship-to-Party (Document Header).
9. Press F4 help for the field Transportation Zone. (It will show the possible entries from the table TZONE (All records).
10. I want to show the possible entries only for that particular city.(For a particular city there may be more than one transportation zone. I will maintain these records in Z table ).
I have tried all user exit from the program MV45AFZZ and ADDRESS_SUBSCREEN BAdI. But I could not get the solution.
Please help help me to do this.

ORDERS: transportation zone of partner

Hi,
Given that on IDoc field exists for transportation zone at E1EDKA1, I tried to enhance the function module IDOC_INPUT_ORDERS. Fields XVBADR-LZONE and XVBPA-LZONE can be populated with transportation zone values with the enhancement. However, that value is not actually saved to sales order partner information. I also tried enhancement under such user exits as EXIT_SAPLVEDA_001. However, it still doesn't work. How can I fill "Transportation Zone" in IDoc?

yes, the validity is ok.
The error message for FB00 is:
ACCESS NOT MADE (INITIALIZED FIELD)
Field in condition table -   Field in document - Value in document
Service agent                   Service agent             1058
Dest.zone                        Dest zone                 !(exclamation pnt)
The problem is that system doesn't find dest zone in document.
Why?

Hi,
you can check on the LSMW being used for customer master creation, the fields what you had mentioned are normal fields and will be available in the standard batch / direct input under the object 0050 & program name RFBIDE00.
just map the excel fields with the fields indicated in the LSMW.

in this example on page 3 Batch input recording is used, you can use Standard Batch / direct input with the parameters i had given earlier.

Transportation Zone in the ship to party changed after delivery

Dear Guru,
Earlier when the user was creating sales order and the delivey the transportation zone for the ship to party was france, now before billing he has changed the transportation zone to netherlands.
When he created billing, tax MWST was not getting triggered. i asked him to create pricing condition for Export tax, but it is not heling us.
If he changes the transportation zone for the ship to party and try to crete billing will it help to trigger MWST.

Hi Nayaz,
You should maintain create condition records for MWST from vk11 in access sequence like (departure country/destination country, domestic, and export taxes). additionally, maintain your route determination regarding of your requirement and customer and material master billing tax tab should be maintained according to this configurations.

Sales Office & Sales Group not copying from customer Master

I have a few values such as Sales district, Sales Office, Sales Group transportation zone etc in Customer Master.
However, only sales office and sales groups are not copied over to SO upon creation. Does anyone know why?

If the sales office & sales group is maintained in the customer master , it should get copied to sales order.
It seems sales office is not assigned to sales area .Kindly check below config
1. Sales office assigned to sales area , below is the path
Enterprise structure --> Assignment --> sales and distribution --->assign sales office to sales area
2. Sales group assigned to sales office, below is the path
Enterprise structure --> Assignment --> sales and distribution --->assign sales group to sales office

Using table rate with scale in transportation zone

I have a question with using a rate table and scale in transportation zone.
I need a scenario of calculation sheet with rate table using a transportation zone scale. In my freight order, i have many freight unit of different destinations (many locations).
I configure this scenario, but the system does not use the transportation zone with select price on table rate.

I have a freight order with two stages.
My calculation costs is based on stage condition (FRT_PEDIDO).
My configuration for this scenario is:
)    Calculation Sheet
)    Rate Table
)    Config to condition
)    Master data to Transportation Zone
)    Locations included in transportation Zones
)    transportation Lane
location “PLC_SBC_014” is my plant and “Z_SP_SUL” is my transportation zone.
“Z_SP_SUL” is the transportation zone and “0……021” is customer location 1.
“Z_SP_SUL” is the transportation zone and “0……063” is customer location 2.

Defaulting transportation zone value while creating the consumer in shop

Dear Experts
i have a requirement where i have to default the transportation zone value as "0000000001".
when ever a new consumer is created in the webshop when it flows to r/3 it must contain trasnportation zone value as "0000000001"(defaulted) could you tell me how can i achieve this i tried to default the value using the transaction varient which doesnt solved my problem
