Transporting form BOX to another BOX to production BOX changes not effect

Good Day!
I would like some help from on my object from "Transporting form BOX1 to another BOX1 to production BOX changes not effect" ??
The issue is regarding transaction SE51 (screen painter). I was changing the Define Length from 45 to 55 upon activating their will be a pop-up information message will appear "Selection screen: Report generation makes screen changes ineffective". After the activation the Define Length in transaction se51 will now be 55.
However, upon transporting to another Box/system the Define Length will be 45 instead of 55. Can you help me how to solve this problem? What to do to avoid the changes in the Define Length so that it would still be 55 instead of 45?

I was changing the Screen (transaction SE51) of a field Define Length from 45 to 55. the changes is transported and reflected to another box but when transporting it again to the production box the Screen (transaction SE51) the Define length changes again to 45 instead to 55.

Change not effective in production?

Dear Friends,
I had improved the code for a variable exit used in a planning sequence.
Only the exit code was changed to handle data processing better. Thus, no filter or modeler settings were changed.
In development, this change proved to have fixed the problem.
I transported it to QAS and it also solved the problem there.
When I transport to Production, the old error remained. The planning sequence runtime gave the same error.
It is a generate combinations function.
I checked the exit was transported successfully and modeler settings are the same as in Development.
The error said step 'x' was having error.
I do not know how to tell where is this step 'x'. If the system is able to identify a certain step giving problem, how can i know more what this step is exactly?
Its either in the characteristics relationship or in the filter.
How can I tell for sure what is it complaining about that prevents the generate combinations function to run properly?
Hope to get some tips. What steps can I take to narrow down the problem or what else should / could I do?

Sorry, I do not yet understand what is meant by data being inconsistent. I hope to understand what is inconsistent data . could you be generous and show me a simple example using records?
am i right to say that characteristic combination will 1st check what data already exist in the cube before data is generated and written to the plan cube ?
am I right to say that if there is inconsistent data pre-existing , characteristic combination could fail due to .....?
I thought characteristic combination will generate whatever combination is derived in the target characteristics , generating records that do not yet exist also ?
Could characteristic combinations be generated as new records if one of the target attribute-derived characteristics is derived as 'blank' ?

Transportation requests moved from development server to Quality,But changes not seen

Hi Folks,
We made some configurations in Marketing area and moved corresponding TR's from Dev server to QAS,but am not able to see the changes in QAS while testing.Where all could I have gone wrong?

Mean while can you tell me if we have not moved them in proper order the changes wont reflect or something?
Not moving the TRs in order, will some times lead to serious problems in production system. To the extent that all business activities would come to stand still. Hence, it's very important to move the TRs in their respective sequence.
Maintain details of TR and their sequence in an excel sheet.

Duplicate Queries and Query Components in BI Production Box

Hi:
We have a situation where we have duplicate queries and query components in our Production BI box.
The problem was caused by transports. We have a development landscape and a support landscape where both are transporting separately up to the BI Production Box.
For example, query ABC was created in the development landscape and transported up to our production box.
The same query ABC was created in our support landscape and transported up to our production box.
Now in the production box we have 2 queries ABC with the same technical name and description but with different active ELTUIDs.
We have found the program ANALYZE_RSZ_TABLES and it does show us this problem in our production box with many queries and query components.
The question is how do we get rid of the duplicate ELTUIDs in our Production box and how do we stop this from happening during transport?
any suggestions would be helpful.

Hi JC,
I think you can use Tcode RSZDELETE to delete the duplicate UIDs of elements or any query objects.
Test it in dev box / sandbox before using it in prod.

Yes but you will have to create some custom JavaScript to do this.
Also you should be aware that the "Required" property is only processed when the form is submitted to a scripted web page or "mailto:" process.

Transport PARAMETER entries in TVARV to Production box

Hi Guys,
I have created 5 entried in table TVARV for Parameters:
Entries are as follows:
NAME        TYPE       NUMB        LOW
Z11          P         0001        PARAMETER 1
Z11          P         0002        PARAMETER 2
Z11          P         0003        PARAMETER 3
Z11          P         0004        PARAMETER 4
Z11          P         0005        PARAMETER 5
I want transport these entries to Production box. I cannot use SM30 as I cannot create multliple records for same NAME with value Z11.
Please tell me the tcode and steps to attach these entries to a transport.
Do I need a Customizing transport?

Hi,
Entries in table TVARV needs to be created directly in production. You do not have to transport these entries from your development client to further clients. TVARV is a table to hold global variable.
Login to your production system, go to SM30 and enter table name TVARV and click maintain. Inside the maintenance screen you can see change button, you can add your entries directly there. Don't worry change button will be enables even in production for this table.

We are planning to transport 0cubes to production box, how do i do it? what steps do i need to take to ensure objects are properly activated, unit tested in sandbox, transported to QA box and with just a click of a button load the test data.
Mind you we are on 2004s so give me details regarding DTP's and how to create them too. Get as detail as possible .
Provide Step by step screen shots where ever applicable If any. Use New GL or New PS_C041 for example

In a tubular form: how do you make one combo box reflect another

For example:
if there are two fields, one with combo box with bread, meat, juice and I select juice, I and the contents of another combo box in another field to say Orange, grape, lemon.
field one field two
bread orange
meat grape
juice lemon
in field one there is just those 3 but in the table representing two there are many such as types of bread and meat and juice, all three.

Your description is not very clear but looks like you want cascading select lists, where 2nd select list is populated based on value selected in the first select list.
AJAX is a good solution if you are comfortable with it. Since I'm not very familiar with that, I end up using pl/sql.

How to move CRM_UI_FRAME component from one box to another box

Need help about this task.
Background:
- CRM Dev Box
- CRM QC Box
- CRM Prod Box
Problem:
- CRM_UI_FRAME component on the QC Box is not working properly. When we are going to the BSP Workbench, an error comes out that there is an unclosed tag; '>' or '/>' expected entity: "<<document>>" Offset : 0000003376 Error Severity: error.
- BSPWD_BASICS/WorkAreaHostViewSet is not loaded
- This problem never occurs on both Dev and Prod Box
Our Solution:
- To copy the whole CRM_UI_FRAME component from Dev to QC
Our Question
- Is the solution possible?
- If it is, how could we transfer/copy the whole CRM_UI_FRAME or any component from one box to another box
- Could we just attach this to a transport? Or is this a BASIS task?
- Other suggestions on how to do this?

Transported to A and Q box - Changes not reflected in only A Box Q Box Ok?

Hi Experts,
I am facing an issue with Transportation in SAP BI.
In my project we have a requirement to create a new query After that we have developed that query with new requirement features.
As per the user requirement, the new developed query must be moved to production and where as the old version could not be displayed any more.
For that purpose, after developing the query in Dev Box i have collected the tp and deleted the old version query in DEV Box.
I have transported the new version developed query to Acceptance Box and then to Quality Box.
And tested in Acceptace and Quality Box whether new developed query features is reflecting or not .
Found that, in Quality Box new query featured reflected where as in Acceptance Box the new query reflections have not reflected.
Now my question is if i trasport the same tp to production whether changes will get reflect or not
And also would like to know the route cause why in the acceptace changes have not get reflected.
I am confirming that, in both acceptace and quality box the tp were trasported succefully with out any of the errors.
Kindly reply me any of the folks faced this kind of issue or scenario in your projects or expeiriance.

Hi,
Just try re-importing your query in OVERWRITE mode from D to A. Also request your basis team while transporting your TR to Prod to transport it in OVERWRITE mode.

"By typing a colon in a field, the end user can cause Oracle Forms to open the Query Where dialog box, allowing the end user to specify conditions that are too complex to specify by entering values into fields".
I have tried above thing, but where clause dialog box not opening.

When I go back to edit the form why are my individual text boxes merging into one large text box?

I am currently trying to create a form fillable pdf and have never had problems until yesterday.
My individual text boxes are somehow conjoining into one large text box after I save my edits and go back to the form to make additional edits. This has never happened before and it is messing up the entire format of the form. Any guidance would be grealy appreciated.

Did you find a solution to your problem? I am experiencing the same thing. Only, the boxes will change. One time when I go in a single word on a line will be in the same box as a word above it. I created these text boxes in the pdf and did not import from another file. The next time I go into the file, the word will be back in its original box and other words will be combined in boxes. The last time I went in two entire lines that were two separate boxes are not one box. The boxes seem to merge completely randomly though the text they are enclosing are next to each other either side by side, or more frequently, above/below. This is quite a nuisance as I am still creating my form and when I want to move words or lines, I have to copy the text box and then delete the words I do not want in each box just so I can manipulate the content into the positions I want them.

When I tried to type this in for registration, it does register as this numbers also contain letters in it. Apparently the registration boxes accept numbers only. What do I do with a useless product for which I have paid good money for it?????

This is the simple solution which was offered to me when I tried to get the serial code on line.
The box and disc sleeve do not contain a series with 24 numbers which I presume is the product code to install.
I tried to redeem the registration code by following what they recommended, but inevitably it gets to the page that showed the registration boxes that need 24 serial numbers and I got stuck again.
This product is so different what my previous experiences of other software products where I just enter the serial number straight from the disc sleeve and then I got registered and go on to use the software.
I is really frustrating, spending the last two hours trying to get my product going....

I don't have the product box, thus I don't have the serial number. I cannot get hold of a warm body at Adobe or even an real onlline contact link. How am i supposed to find the correct serial number to install my original Photoshop Elements 12 product ?

HELP. where do I get a serial number if I no longer have the product box (oops) and I still need to install the software. Is a human even working at Adobe? Do they ever look at email? I can't be the only person with this problem.
