Transporting Problem - Tranformation Global Definitions Not Transporting

I have an issue trying to transport some Master Data characteristics.  One example, 0PLANT, has routines in the transformation into 0PLANT_ATTR that call methods that are a part of generated code from when the transformation was activated.  This ABAP program is not being picked up when I collect 0PLANT for transporting.  The generated code appears in my local $TMP package.  Since it is in the SAP namespace, I am unable to transport it manually or move it to a new package.
Is there some trick to collecting these ABAP programs that are used in transformation routines?  Or are these all suppose to be created when you import the transport?  If so, mine are not.
Thanks

the newly developed objects may he link with the  previous developement..
like ztable ,zstructure,etc..
check and re trasport

  • BPF Process Templates Changes not Transported

    Dear All,
Environment was transported to Target system, including BPF process templates.
Then, changes were made to these templates. Process templates were validated and deployed. Only BPFs were collected. Transport was successful. However, the target system wasn't updated with the latest BPF templates.
Checked the UJT_TRANS_OBJECT table, found that the table wasn't updated with the changes entries.
Tried to create new BPF, validated and deployed. Transport was successful too, but not transported to target system as well.
Checked the UJT_TRANS_OBJECT table, found that the table wasn't updated with this new BPF.
Have anyone faced similar issue before?

  • The Object cannot not be processed due to a transport problem

We are trying to delete a standard web template 0ADHOC_TABLE (modified by our coworker before and transported) and reinstall a new one or totally standard one, but when clicking the "X" icon to delete this web template, get the following error:
"The Object cannot not be processed due to a transport problem"
    What could be the reason?
    Thanks

    Hi Kevin,
This message coms up because as you mention, the template has been transported. Since it is in the target system, if you delete form the dev system, the system needs to ensure that it is also removed from the system it has been transported too.
You can check the dev package assigned to the template, assign a new request against this dev class (RSA1 > Transport Connection > Bex Truck icon). Log out and log back into WAD and try to delete it, and then send this transport. Or you can simply reinstall it as Roberto suggests.
    Hope this helps...

  • ABAP Query transport problem

    Dear All,
I need to copy queries from Standard Area to Global area. When I use the transport facility (SQ03 --> Environment --> transport), it does pop-up the transport workbench request screen at the first time. I created one transport request number for it. After that, I accidently deleted the transport request without released it first. Now I have problem to add back the queries into the new transport request since the prompt for transport workbench request is not pop-up even I successfully copied the query from standard area to global area.
Is there any suggested solution?. Thank you in advance for any suggestion.

chances are very very slim.. (i think zero)  to delete a request, when it has objects .
so your statement - "I accidently deleted the transport request without released it first "  doesnt sounds logical...
either you have removed your objects from the list before deleting the request..
but if that was teh case, then it shud pop up for new request..
as it is not asking for new request.... it is almost sure, that it is still in some request..
look hard in se01 - your request shud be there... description shud be something like 'transport for abap query'.

  • Can not transport from DEV to PRD (Hang up)

    Hi Experts,
Please help.. I have this problem, was not able to transport from Dev to Prod, it just hang up.. I've read a lot in web how to solve this problem and did the following:
==> Stop all TP running in OS level
==> Delete all pending job in Import Monitor (with truck logo)
==> and the last to be done is to delete the data from table TRBAT, but it took so long to delete the data in that table.. What I've noticed is that the data left in table TRBAT is the transport number wherein user was log-off during transport execution (as in the middle of the process)..
What should be the solution of this problem, as we can not proceed with the transport of our changes made in DEV system, as it just hang up in there.. and I'm also having this problem in deleteing data from TRBAT table.
    Thanks.

    Hi,
Its well known problem which is discussed many times in many threads.
Did you check TP System Log and TMS Alert of the System ?
Execute RSTPTEST report to check the STMS configuration. Also check the existence/status of RDDIMPDP Background Job.
Please refer these useful threads with similar symptoms.

  • Problem during import of 121 transport requests to productive system

    Hello
We have problem during import of transport requests to productive system. Import of 121 transport requests stopped very soon in phase "N" (in TRBAT I have only one entry and in  TRJOB  as well).
In sm50 there is an BGD running under user DDIC in client 000 now for 14453 seconds (program SAPLSDB2). This should be import.
In SM37 I can see it as  job "RDDGEN0L" with  repport"RDDGENBB". Based on some literature it should perform "Converting all structure changes generated by the import and recorded in table TBATG, other than the structure changes to matchcode objects." Very interesting  that TBATG has only four entries related to 2 indexes in table "DFKKOPK" , one in table "DFKKREP06" and one" ENQU" for EFKKEXC". (only this last one has not status error)
For fist two indexes I know they are not present  as objects "LIMU""INDX" in any transport request beeing imported.
Also on productive system there is no"VOL" and "ZOL"indexes for table "DFKKOPK"(instead they are created on test system ie. not transported from development to test system)
Last command for that process is "CREATE INDEX "DFKKOPK~HKO" ON "DFKKOPK" ("MANDT", "HKONT", "OPBEL") PCTFREE 10 INITRANS 002 TABLESPACE PSA
    PTR3 STORAGE (INITIAL 0000000016 K NEXT 0000000016 K MINEXTENTS 0000000001 MAXEXTENTS UNLIMITED PCTINCREAS"
There is enaught space on disk and in tablespaces (it is an oracle/HPux server).
Does anyone knows workaroun to solve production

are you importing these transport requests simultaneously into production?
I would suggest you try doing in smaller groups of 5 or 10 and then see whether you are able to import the requests

  • KM content transported once is not transporting again

    Hi Experts,
I have a problem in ICE online transfer.
    Let me explain you clearly.
I transported ABC folder  from one portal system to other using ICE - online method.  that is
source path is /documents/abc   and destination path is  /documents/xyz/abc    All the content is transported successfully.
Now I want to transport  to destination path  /documents/abc  in target system. I configured corectly but it is not happening.
Same problem I am facing with other folders also. The content that is transported once is not transporting again. once fully transported it is doing only incremental update but not full update.
How can I transfer full update again using ICE - online.   Is there any possibility of removing cache.
Any kind of hint will be appreciated.

  • First time data is not transported to pop up window through event handler

    Hi all,
I am using NWDS 7.0, Now I want to open a pop up on click of a action link.
There are two DCs DC-A and DC-B.
I am calling action from DC-A to DC-B. DC-B contains view of pop up window.
In DC-A I am using intreface controller of DC-B by using used coponents.
Now In the DC-B used components I have created one fireplugin which is connected ith pop up view of DC-B and that firplugin is called from DC-A action to transport data from Dc-A to DC-B.
Problem : when I click first time to open pop-up window then event handler is not called but the windows opened. When I close that window and again open the transported data start displaying on pop up window.
So can you please help me that why first time data is not transported to pop up window.
    Thanks
    Kaushal

You'll need to use an OARawTextBean. Oracle doesn't support opening links in new windows using OAFormattedTextBean. Just be aware that you'll need to set the CSS class in the HTML as well if you need it formatted a certain way.

  • TABLE TRANSPORT PROBLEM

i am in a real fix, i want to know the proper way of transpoprting table entries from dev server to q/a, prod
    i came across 2 ways
    first way
    se11 => ztable.
    menu => transport entries
assign it to a req no.
    check in se09 /10
    release.
    (i am giving the link)
    Link:[http://sample-code-abap.blogspot.com/2008/06/transporting-table-entry.html]
    second way
    table: ztable.
go to se10 =. display => workbench request.
    dbl clk the req number.
now in change mode  in 'objects' tab => object name = ztable.  clk on 'functions' key.
a new screen appears => dbl clk on the first empty line.
provide the table entries to be transported.
select the radiobutton 'entire table / table contents as per req /  table contents by current key '.
    save.
which of the above is correct and wats the diff ?  pls suggest. which one shud i  follow?

    Hi,
both procedures have the same result but unfortunately both have the same restrictions and lead to the same errors.
Tables which need transportation should always be defined and maintained in a way that the transport integration is ensured. This includes the correct table type (e.g. C table for customizing), maintenance only via maintenance view (generated or own defined) and transport integration activated (TCode SCC4). This is the only way the consistency between the systems is ensured. If you only put the table entries into a transport from time to time you only send the current table lines but deletion of lines won't be transported so you will end with more / outdated lines in qa and prod system. So if your z table contains customizing information you should define it as table type C, generate a maintenance view and maintain it e.g. via T-Code SM30. So every time someone changes the entries a transport request pops up automatically.
While this all does not seem to difficult to handle for small developments, propper transport integration and table definition is important if you head into greater projects perhaps with delivery to multiple customers. In such scenarios it is very important for the software logistic guys that the developers keep the basic rules for table definition as no S type table w/ client field, never put an integer type field into table key, never put asterisks in customizing transport (except langu field), never use the wrong transport type by manually adding table entries in workbench transports which belong in customizing ones and so on. It's really no fun if one year of development w/ some thousand man days of work can't be delivered because one of 2k tables was not defined properly.
    Kind regards
    Roman

  • Problem with a process chain transport

    Hi all,
I have a problem with a process chain transport, I transport it but when I see the changes in testing environment I don’t see it, I did it four times but nothing happen and I don’t have errors.
Can anybody tell me how to transport a process chain.
    Thanks.

    Hi Federico,
When you tranport Process Chains, initially chains will be available under "Not Asigned" node in RSPC Transaction. The transported chains wont be get highlighted automatically. Manually need to open the chain in update mode and activate it on Quality.
Hope it will help you to resolve the problem.

  • KM content exoport with ICE: External Links are not transported

    Hi,
We have to move KM content from DEV->QUA->PRD, so we've set up ICE. ICE is working without any problem. All Objects are transported, but there is an exception,External Links are not moved. (Internal Links are transported correctly!)
    We are using Portal 2004s (sap.com/SAP-JEECOR  7.00 SP8, sap.com/SAP-JEE  7.00 SP8)
We tried it with Portal Drive, but External Links are not possible to be copied. (I can see the file for a short time(1-2 sec) in the target folder, but after refresh it disappears from the folder.)
Does anyone have experienced such an issue, do you know any ideas to resolve this problem?
    Any help is greatly appretiated
    Best regards
    Richard Palotai

Seems to be the same for me.

  • Transformation transport problems when containing routine

    Hi Gurus,
    I'm facing a transport problem.
When i want to transport a transformation that contains routines, the transport says syntax error in routine. The routine in DEV is tested and correct. I realised, that the transport does not bring the routines. After transport, i open the transformation, and the routines contain the default routine: RESULT = .
I found some answers in some posts, but no exact answer how can i get rid of this transport problem. I don't like copy - paste into prod system with manually editing....
If you have any idea, please let me know.
    Thanks
    Laszlo

Thanks for your help, it worked now, but i think it should work without owerwrite originals. Sometimes it seems that the routines is not included in the transport request, when i modify a routine in a transformation.
But thanks anyway, problem solved now

Upload the transport in the receiving system with import and run the BDC with the percents
Important note on transporting tax codes -> F1
Important note on transporting tax codes -> F1
    Message no. F4794
    Diagnosis
Transporting tax codes requires manual postprocessing. This postprocessing is also necessary if tax codes have to be transported from one client to another within the system.
    Procedure
When tax codes are transported, the tax rates of the tax codes are transported using auxiliary table T007V. Logical transport object FTXP is used to transport the definition data of the tax code from table T007A and the language-dependent name to table T007S.
The tax accounts for the tax codes (table T030K) are not transported.
The internal jurisdiction codes are also not transported.
The transport of tax codes between systems or clients consists of two steps:
    1. Step:
Export tax codes from source system or source client
    2. Step:
Import tax codes into target system or target client
    Export
    1. In the source system or client, in Customizing for the Financial Accounting Basic Settings, choose Tax on Sales/Purchases -> Calculation -> Define Tax on Sales and Purchases Code.
    2. Choose Tax Code -> Transport -> Export.
    3. Assign the export to the relevant transport request and make a note of the request number.
    4. Select and save the tax codes to be transported.
    5. Make sure that the selected tax codes have the transport number in table T007V.
To check the table, in the SAP menu choose Tools -> ABAP Workbench -> Overview -> Data Browser.
Enter the table name. The tax codes are in the MWSKZ fields, the tax jurisdiction codes in the TXJCD fields.
    6. Arrange the transport of the request to the target system.
To transport the request, in the SAP menu choose Tools -> ABAP Workbench -> Overview -> Workbench Organizer -> Environment -> Customizing Organizer.
    Import
    1. Make sure that the transported tax codes are recorded in table T007V of the target system or target client.
    2. In the source system or client, in Customizing for the Financial Accounting Basic Settings, choose Tax on Sales/Purchases -> Calculation -> Define Tax on Sales and Purchases Code.
    3. The tax codes should have been created in the target system without a tax percentage rate by the import.
Otherwise you can do this manually:
In the target system, create the tax codes that do not exist there.
Create the tax codes completely, but without tax percentage rates.
If you use internal systems in company codes in the USA or Canada, the relevant tax jurisdiction codes should also exist. You make the settings for the tax jurisdiction code in Customizing for Financial Accounting Basic Settings under Tax on Sales and Purchases -> Basic Settings -> Define Tax Jurisdiction Codes.
    4. Choose Tax Code -> Transport -> Import.
    5. Check the proposed values for the transport request and country.
    6. Run the import.
Notes for the transport of tax accounts
When you transport tax codes between different systems or clients, no tax accounts are transported.
Adjust the tax accounts in the source and target system (or source and target client) manually.

  • STMS Transport Route Administration - Import Targets not modifiable.

Hello.  I'm trying to configure cCTS for use with CHARM.  I have created my system clusters and defined a consolidation and delivery route for the clusters.  Now when I double click on my clusters in edit mode and navigate to the Import Targets tab, I am not able to modify this tab.  I have been following the cCTS for CHARM and QGM Configuration guide.

    Thanks Jessica
I'm also working with OSS SAP Support now to try and resolve my issue.
In short I can some up the problem and testing completed so far.
    <b>To Start:</b>
The Server group removed old QA server from our SAP Landscape, therefore STMS Transport Route required rebuilding.
    <b>Systems:</b>
We have a very complex system setup with SAP R3, CRM and BW systems. Each system has it's own server (Dev = R3D, CRD & BWD, QA Testing is now = R3T, CRT & BWT, Production = R3P, CRP & BWP) The Original QA servers are now being removed (R3Q, CRQ & BWQ)
CRD is the Transport Domain Controller, with transport bins located on CRD for R3D & BWD, CRT for R3T & BWT and CRP for R3P & BWP. (Firewalls and Server locations are the root cause for the different Trans Directories)
    <b>Transport route:</b>
    Transport route for SAP R3 was: R3D -> R3Q -> R3T & R3P (in a delivery group). The new Transport Route needs to be R3D -> R3T -> R3P.
<b>Main Problem now:</b> With the Transport Route configured like R3D -> R3T -> R3P, any new transport requests created in R3D moves to the R3T Import Queue automatically when the transport is released. Once the transport is successfully imported into R3T, it should automatically be added to the R3P Import Queue, but does not.
<b>Present work around:</b> I've reconfigured the Transport route to R3D -> R3T & R3P. Any tranport request once released, is successfully added to both the R3T & R3P Import Queues.
I have checked all SAPService<sid> OS users and passwords, ensured that the TMSADM user was recreated and working on each of the systems,  used telnet to log onto each of the servers from each of the other servers at the OS level (to ensure it's not a landscape firewall security issue), I've also checked all RFC connections in the same manner (to ensure each system can reach the others), recreated the route from R3T to R3P as both a Consolidation and a Delivery type of route,
I will post any resolution found later.
    Thanks for the help anyway
