Transports not happening in PI system

Hi Guru's ,
While trying to import transport , it's in running state from more than 1 hr ( tp_getprots_new ) .
I have followed below steps :-
1. Deleted entry from trbat, trjob.
2. Killed all the tp process and tried to re-import in transport.
No Luck can anyone suggest here.

Hi Pradeep,
Do you mean that you are using tc STMS and when the transport is executed doesn't end?
Did you uncheck the checkbox below?
This is the window opened when you start the import, Options tag.

it is just the case of background ransports that are not moving
Go to SM37,in user put * and in job name put R*
and check for the status released and scheduled,If you find jobs in the scheduled and released status,just start the jobs
your transports will start move again,

Perform a "hard reset" on the device by pressing down and holding the home button and the sleep/wake button for up to 30secs. until you see a black screen with the Apple logo, then release.
Then test to see if it solved the problem.

Transport Error - DS does not exist in Source system

Dear All,
I am getting below Error while transporting the DSO from DEV to Quality.
DataSource 8ZM_ALT does not exist in source system DCQCLI041 of version A.
I have checked the dataosource is active and available in Development system. But Its giving error while importing.
As per the dataflow the data of this DSO is updated to Cube.
Has anyone solved this issue, because i have checked in SDN but there are no suitable answers.

Transporting Process Chain - error Source system does not exist

Hi,
I tried to transport a local PC by itself (not including its main meta chain) since I have only done modifications in the local PC only. In the PC, there are PSA Processing, ODS Processing, ODS Activation, ABAP Program w/ variants and Infocube Rollup.
However, I got the following transport error: Source system does not exist

Diagnosis
Source system is not known.
System Response
The imported data for DataSource was deleted again because the referenced source system does not exist and no mapping is defined in table RSLOGSYSMAP on an existing productive source system.
Procedure
Create the referenced source system in the Data Warehousing Workbench or define mapping to a known source system in table RSLOGSYSMAP.
You get to maintenance using Tools -> Conversion of the logical system names.

I have checked at the table RSLOGSYSMAP and all source system mappings are in order.
And the weird thing is, upon checking the PC itself in the transport-to box, I can activate it without any error.
FYI, we are currently upgrading to BI Accelerator. Am not sure if this could be one of the reasons.
Any inputs and tips are highly appreciated and will be rewarded with points accordingly.

This error is due to the fact that the
mapping table for the after import (RSLOGSYSMAP) is not correct maintained in PB7 system.
You need to maintain table RSLOGSYSMAP in each system
You can find the steps to do it in the attached note 127326:
o Maintain table 'RSLOGSYSMAP' in the target BW with view
   'V_RSLOGSYSMAP' and enter as 'original source system' the logical name of the source system in the source BW and as 'target source system' the logical name of the source system in the target BW.
   This maintenance is required since it allows the correct source system reference of the InfoSources to be transported.
This source system reference in turn is absolutely necessary to activate the transfer structure.
   Example:
   Source BW with source system AAA.
   Target BW with source system BBB where the source system AAA
   corresponds to the source system BBB.
   Entry in RSLOGSYSMAP in the target BW:
   Original source system: AAA, target source system: BBB.
   Give the DDIC user in the source BW in client 000 the
   authorization profile S_RS_ALL to create BW objects.

After transporting I get error "source system does not exist"

I have transported my objetcs to BW quality system and transported the data sources to r/3 quality and everything went fine. But now when I am trying to go through everything my update rules are inactive and when I get to infosource it gives me this error
"Source system ERJ100 does not exist."
Is there any importamnt step that I am missing why are the objects not recognizing the source system?

check the system mapping in rsal tools system mapping tab as lilly mention. check if the mapping is defined correct. see the link below

Transport warning from EHP4 upgrade system to systen not at EHP4

when we import CTS into production, we are getting warnings on missing table as below. It is likely due to the EHP4 as this table is delivered only in Feb 2010. Note that our development system is on EHP4 and Production is not so that could be the cause of the issue.
Table UCUM04C is not in name tab
No entries for UCUM04C will be imported in this step.
Same for UCUM04C, UCUM04T, and UCUM060
Please let me know if there are any resolution items for us to pursue..

Hello Preety,
The Warnings in the import protocol refers to some personalization attributes in the roles regarding component FIN-SEM.
There is no direct impact to the menu, the user assignments and the authorizations of the transported roles. If you do not need the personalization from the roles, you will not have any trouble. These warnings are absolutely harmless.
Nevertheless I would suggest to retranspoort the roles as and when your quality and productive system was updated to the same version as your development system is. There is no other workaround to get rid of these warnings except getting all the systems to same versions.

SInce upgrading to Firefox 4 none of my web pages will down load unless I am movinh my mouse on the screen. Windows 7 operating system. This is not happening in IE

Reversal of a reversed document should not happen

Dears
In our system, user is able to reverse an already reversed document, which should not happen.
In the Message Control F5 361, nothing has been changed to make this warning or information.
Hence the standard is 'error'. But why the system is allowing the reversal of a reversed document then ?
Could you please provide inputs ?

How to import transport of copies to productive systems

Hello,
I have been experiencing a problem that even the guys from admin could not solve (yet). I should say I work in a development team.
Imagine you have two landscapes, one DEV-QAS(1) to develop big projects and a normal DEV-QAS-PRD(2) landscape where my objects will be imported. After a new group of objects is finished in (1), we ask to import the workbench request in the STMS queue of DEV(2). After this, and after some small test, we create a transport of copies in DEV(2) where we include the first transport, release it and import it to the QAS(2) queue. After the tests in QAS(2) the idea would be to import the transport of copies to productive system PRD(2). But it does not work...
In STMS queue for PRD(2), there is no entry for the transport of copies. Also, when I tried to add the transport request to the import queue (via menu -> Extras -> Other requests -> Add), I get an error message stating that no co-files where found for the transport.
Does anyone know this problem? I suspect it can have sothing to do with the use of a transport of copies, but, if I don't use this kind of transport, how can I get objects from other systems to production?

When you create a transport of copies you must indicate a terget system and I suppose you enter QAS(2) there. In that case the TMS will add the request to the import buffer of the target system when you export the request from DEV(2). I understand that you never have to add transports of copies to the import buffer of QAS(2) manually, which proves the TMS does this for you. However, for further imports into systems that are not designated as target system of the transport of copies, like PRD(2), the TMS will do nothing of the sort and you must add the request to the queue yourself - which in your case also means you have to forward the transport files first.

Yes, and that is the most common way of setting up the transport system. Having separate transport systems really only makes sense when sharing the transport directory between the dev, qas and prd systems (via NFS for UNIX, via network shares for Windows) is not possible, either because there is no local network between the servers or because some security policy forbids it. I'd advise you to certainly ask the question to your system admin.

I created a Secondary Index in DEV, its fine and the message is,
Index KNA1~Z01 exists in database system ORACLE
I moved it to TEST and there I got the message is like,
Index does not exist in database system ORACLE
So,
1 - Wht I hv to do now? Shuld I see BASIS people?
2- Why its happened like that? Coz of not enough space?

After any change in the existing structure of the table you need to adjust and then activate it.
It can be done using SE14 tcode, please try using this.

So when the cases is occurs i must re-create the index again in Production Level...

it might be due to some BUG in RDBMS...
First Check the Secondary index in TEST system
Look at the Transport Number in DEV system, If this is having error, then it will show you the error details also,
If that not moved Properly then you need to create another request for the INDEX and move it again
