TRASH dissapears, never to be found! Please Help
Trashed messages never appear in any of the trash mailboxes.
I've tried looking under username<library<Mail...etc, nothing there.
I've re-set my Prefs to Never delete mail and unchecked the box for storing trash in "other" folders.
Will this help?
How can I retrieve a recently deleted email?

I have this same problem only it is with a tv series. I downloaded the whole season and I can only watch a few episodes because the original file can not be found. If you find anything out please let me know. Thanks. Good Luck! Payton14

I recently sycned all my Itunes music from my Iphone to my Mac. I had 150-200 songs. After the sync I went and checked my phone, I now only have 53 songs. The lost one's aren't even showing up in my purchased. It's like I never bought them! Please help!!

Original file could not be found ----PLEASE HELP

I have 4,000 MP3s on an extrenal hard drive.
When I open iTunes, I would double click on a song, and it would play.
NOW, for whatever reason, when I double click on a song, a window pops up and says: +Original file could not be found, would you like to locate it?+
I then have to manually locate the song, for it to play.
I do not want to do that for 3,999 more MP3s.
I went to EDIT>PREFERENCES>ADVANCE>GENERAL andmade sure the file path is my F Drive (external hard drive) where my MP3's are.
Still no luck.
The 2 or 3 songs, that I've manually located have a speaker by the title. The other 3,900+ MP3s have and exclamation point by the title.
Can anyone PLEASE help me?I went to FILE> ADD FOLDER TO LIBRARY and selected the folder where my MP3s were.
This updated my itunes library and now allow me to play every song, but it also made a duplicate of every song.
Example:
Kanye West - Stronger
Kanye West - Stronger
1 plays and 1 doesn't.
I just have to go and delete the songs with the infront of the title. -
Please help me figure out why bridge isn't working! I'm pretty computer illiterate, so step by step guidance would be helpful. Thanks in advance!

Original files for songs on itunes can no longer be found, please help!!
My itunes has unfortunately been deleted and the ipod with the songs/playlists is no longer with us. My whole list of songs/playlists etc are stilllisted but they are no longer playable. When I try to play a song it just reads 'song cannot be played as the original file cannot be found' and proceeds to ask me if I like to locate it. Now I would never claim to be a competent computer user (hence no backup) but I have tried searching the computer to no avail. Any help/hints/tips would be very greatly appreciated.
Thanks for your time and I look forward to hearing from you =)If you had iTunes set not to copy added recordings into its own library, then the files might be anywhere and justreferenced in iTunes. Only you could know where you put the originals, but if careful searching doesn't find them that suggests they've been deleted.
If it did copy the files but you have deleted the library from your 'Music/iTunes' folder then the songs are gone. Again, if searching produces no results then the songs would appear to be missing from your computer.
With no backups, and the songs deleted, they are lost. 'iTunes in the Cloud' might enable you to re-download songs you had purchased, but I doubt this works on Leopard, which your signature says you have.
