Trash - moved items to trash but now it's stuck

Moved some pics to the trash and the small screen popped up saying "Moving 14 items to Trash" but now the pop up window will not close. Trash is empty. How can I get rid of the pop-up window? Tried to Force Quit but there is no option for the pop up window. Any suggestions?

Hold down Option and click on the Finder icon in the Dock. You should get a pop-up with two options, Relaunch and Show. Choose Relaunch.

restore your app from the trash and then properly uninstall.
if that fails, CC desktop lists applications as "Up to Date" when not installed

You need to reinstall all of your Apps. That should replace all of the support files you nuked.

You can add an alias but not a second email address to your iCloud account. You can however add a second iCloud account to your iOS device (which will come with its own email address) at settings> mail, contacts calendars.

Restore loop (being prompted to restore again after a restore successfully completes)
Troubleshoot your USB connection. If the issue persists, out-of-date or incorrectly configured third-party security software may be causing this issue. Please follow Troubleshooting security software issues. .
Next try placing in DFU mode and then restoring.

Then try restoring on another computer.

How far does the download proceed? Do you get an error message?

I recently downloaded / installed FCP X before reading to NOT install it on a volume containing a previous version of FCP. I installed FCP X in the same Applications folder as FCP v6. I have moved FCP 6 to the trash, but now, should I reinstall FCP X?

Hmm. I din't have experience of the trial version - maybe it doesn't move legacy FCP.
Make a new folder (Final Cut Studio) in the Applications folder, and drag FCP there.
I have also found that the sound effects in FCP X keep disappearing and I need to re start FCP X for them to appear again. This has happened several times today.
This could be a case of a conflict with Final Cut Pro. What do you think?
I doubt it, but FCP X is a fickle application.
If moving FCP doesn't fix it, post a new topic to ask about this.

I started doing the Ios6 update on the Ipad 2 and had to restore but now it is stuck on the apple screen. I have tried to reset the Ipad.

I Sarted doing the update through WIFI and it asked me to connect to Itunes which I have done. Then it said I needed to restore the I pad which I clicked to do, it went through all the motions then cam up with an error message on the laptop. Now all I can get is the apple on the screen like when you switch it on or off. I have tried holding the power and home buttons to restart the Ipad but it goes black then comes back to the apple? Any help would be welcomed.....

How I got screwed, but now I'm stuck

Anyone else got suckered by the $100 phone trade-in program? I've accepted that the deal only applies to basic phones, but on the Verizon website, it reads "old phone" and not "basic phone." I made my purchase decision based on the assumption that "old phone" also included my iPhone. It doesn't. Now, I'm sure I would have found this out if I went though a sales rep. or called Verizon directly, but I was a sucka and bought my phone online. Thanks a lot Verizon. Much appreciated.

HT201250 my mac froze on a grey screen after i tried to login so i tried a safe boot, but now i am stuck in the startup utilities program and i cant get out of it

My mac froze and wouldnt startup because it was forced to sleep while a complex program was running, and simply ended up on a blank grey screen, and this happened upon every startup. so then i tried to use a safe boot but this ended me up on the startup utilities thing. i have realised that none of the options: restore from time machine backup, reinstall osx mountain lion, and repair disk are available to help me startup, and i cant select a startup disk either as it says none are available. so i am stuck on this program and it reapears every time i restart or shutdown and reboot, so i cant do anything. Please is there any way i could either quit startup utilities or get back to my computer desktop as i have lots of non-backed up image and video files that i cant afford to lose. please help!

Help. Updated to ios7 and itunes 11.1 but now I'm stuck on the 'connect to itunes' screen

I backed up my phone on itunes before I began this process. I downloaded itunes 11.1 While downloading ios7 I had an error message which was likely due to the limited memory space available on my laptop..(I cleaned some stuff up and it downloaded) When I plugged my phone back in it said it was in recovery mode. I restored my phone and saw that all my apps and music loaded. Then it synced. I tried to swipe the "hello" screen but was taken to the choices:
1. Set up as new iphone 2. restore from icloud backup 3. restore from itunes back up. I have never done an icloud backup and I DID do an itunes backup today so I selected option 3. This is where I'm stuck. It says "connected to itunes' and won't let me do anything else.
(I have restarted my computer, restarted the phone, did the recovery/hold the button down thing, restored it to another point from today etc...)
Any suggestions would be appreciated ..need phone tomorrow!!

I downloaded Itunes for 64 bit OS windows. Bought a shuffle, downloaded music to computer, but cannot get shuffle to sync. Looked at FAQS it says to go to "DEVICES" on Itunes store, but I don't even see that anywhere. Can someone help?

Where did you download it from and how ? If you downloaded it from the ibookstore in the iBooks app then it should be on the bookshelf back in the iBooks app (tap the Library button at the top left of the store if you are still in it). Only ibooks that you buy from the ibookstore or your computer's iTunes will show in the cloud for redownloading in the Purchased tab in the ibookstore in the iBooks app (and they will only show there whilst they remain in your country's store).
If you were using a site on Safari then unless you specified an app to download it into then it will only be in Safari's cache and will you won't be able to access it. If you did buy it via Safari then depending upon the site that you bought/downloaded it from then it might have digital rights management on it that will tie it to that store's apps/ereaders - if the site has its own app in the app store then download that and you might be able to download the book directly in it.
