Trash not supported? What does that mean...?
When you trash something from within FCPX -- it is completely deleted (from Events or Projects); it is not sent to the system trash - there will be nothing to recover if you make a mistake. If you archived your sources outside of an Event, the originals *will not* be deleted. Do not delete an Event that contains original source media unless you are sure! You will lose it.

i purchased dvd studio pro and im trying to install it but when i go to click continue it gives me this "you cant open the application gestalt tool becasue powerpc applications are no longer supported" what does that mean and how can i fix this ?

If that is your intent, finding a substitute program that will run on your Mac may not be as efficient. Others can advise you on alternatives, or you can post a new thread specifically with that question.
BTW: what Mac and what version of OS X?
If it is important to you to continue to use DVD Studio Pro, consider the option of installing Snow Leopard (with Rosetta) into Parallels on your Mac:

i just recently bought a phone off craigs list from someone else and they didnt restore it so i tried to plug it in and restore it and it said the "apple mobile device is not started" what does that mean? and what can i do?
You must be running Windows. AMD is a service that needs to be running in order to sync your phone. You need to start it as described here: http://support.apple.com/kb/ts1567.

Navigate to this folder and delete any and all .ipsw files you find. You will have to turn on "show all hidden files & folders" to see them:
OSX:
~/Library/iTunes/iPhone Software Updates
XP:
C:\Documents and Settings\[username]\Application Data\Apple Computer\iTunes\iPhone Software Updates
Vista & 7:
C:\Users\[username]\AppData\Roaming\Apple Computer\iTunes\iPhone Software Updates
Turn off or disable ALL security software & any firewalls. Make sure you're using a high powered USB port directly on your computer...no hubs, if a desktop use a port on the back of your computer. Disconnect ALL other USB devices.

For OS X Lion, you need to download this version directly from Apple Support Downloads.

I have the newest version of iTunes and when I sync it with my iPhone 4s with iOS7 or my 4th generation iPod touch is comes up with a pop up that says I need to uninstall the Apple Mobile Device Support and iTunes and get newer versions of both. However, I cant find Apple Mobile Device Support anywhere. Help would be greatly appreciated!! - Thanks

I suppose I should have prefaced my question with the concern that I've read a number of other posts from people who have had a similar issue and when they tried to follow the directions, they ran into a multitude of other problems. It sounds like you might have accidently copied Chess over from an Intel Mac, or an Intel Mac's installer DVD. The architecture typically means it is designed uniquely for either Intel or PowerPC. Be sure to extract Chess from the 10.5 Retail installer disc that looks like * and not any other disk. http://www.charlessoft.com/ 's Pacifist lets you extract individual applications from installers without having to reinstall everything.

Most of the music that I purchased on I Tunes I bought and downloaded on my old I Mac which I replaced with this I Mac about 9 months ago.
