Take it to Apple Store. You are covered under your 1 year warranty.

Make an appointment at the genius bar. An out of warranty replacement is $149. It sounds like it may have gotten wet.

First, when you are going to turn off or restart your Mac, you will see a box called "Reopen windows when logging back in" in the shutdown or restart window. Untick this box and see if the App Store opens automatically in the next startup.
If it starts, open System Preferences > Users and Groups > Login Items, and see if the App Store shows up. If so, remove it from this list

Samsung Fascinate Will Not Hold Charge

My Fascinate will not hold a charge longer than about 8 hours. I went to the Verizon store and they said I should get a new battery. I did. It held better for a couple of weeks and now it is worse thatn before. Any ideas?

Are you still experiencing opportunities with your device holding a charge? If so, I would suggest a factory reset to the device. Since you received a different battery the common denominator would lead towards the device. To do the reset you would navigate to Settings>Privacy>Factory Data Reset>Reset Phone>Erase Everything. The phone will reset and prompt you to re-activate the phone. Please keep in mind this will erase everything from your device so please back up if desired. Please let me know if this helps. That is a hardware issue that will be covered under warranty if the machine is a 2012 or later iMac. Bring it into your closest Apple Store or AASP for repair.

ARD admin password will not hold

I recently had to have my MacBookPro replaced under warranty. I cloned the hard drive from the old machine to the new. All good except a few apps needed to be re-registered. ARD on the other hand will not hold/remember my password. I accepts the password and I can use ARD but the next time I launch it it requires the password again. Any ideas about how I can get the password to hold?

Yeah!.. thanks Dave. I now always run as a standard user. I logged on as Admin and entered the serial number and it held! Great. Thank you. It is the only app I have which had done this so far. Most just ask to authenticate. Weird that it did not protest, just did not do it.

that s just the problem, that is why my level of frustration is boiling over ... I have told InDesign over and over again "Do Not Show Again" but it will just not hold the settings. It might hold it for a day or so, but then suddenly there it is again on another launch. Very very annoying.

Take it to an Apple store. Most likely you will have to get a replacement for which you will be charged the replacement fee.
Rice only absorbs water. But it cannot prevent damage to the device.

1) Is it a video clip? Something you recognize? To be clear, it's displaying at a point in your exported movie but doesn't appear at all in the sequence?
2) What are your sequence settings? Right-click your sequence and choose "Item Properties" to verify.

Have you tried - in Mail go to the menu Mail > Preferences.
When the Preferences Pane opens, click on the Accounts Tab.
Click on your iCloud Account to select it.
Click on the Advanced tab.
Set Authentication to Apple Token.
Close the Preference Pane.

Battery will not hold charge?

MY phone will not hold a charge for more than a couple of hours.

Try using it less.
Basic troubleshooting from the User's Guide is reset, restart, restore (first from backup then as new). Try each of these in order until the issue is resolved.
