Trasporting songs from 30 GB video ipod to computer
I got my songs from my brothers computer because we both use it and he left for college so i need to put my songs on my ipod onto my other computer anyone know how i can do this it would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you
Ipod video 30 GB Windows 2000
im assuming what you mean is that all his music is stored on your ipod video like it was an external hard drive. to get the music from it just plug it in to your computer, it should recognize atleast storage device. then drag the folder that the music is in to your desktop. then open itunes file>add folder to library and locate the folder. hope this helps.

I wiped my ipod classic and then my computer crashed, so i no longer have the songs i purchsed from itunes on my ipod or computer! I have a new computer now with itunes installed, can I get the songs purchased previously from itunes somehow?
Yes, you can!(:
STEP 1: Open iTunes
STEP 2: Navigate to the "iTunes Store". It can be found under the "STORE" tab.
STEP 3: On the right side of the store there should be a "Quick Links" Section. Click on the "Purchased" link.
STEP 4: Navigate to the "Music" tab and click on "All Songs". Then at the bottom of the screen there will be a button that says "Download All". Click the button and your songs will be begin downloading!
NOTE: This will only work with songs that you bought from the iTunes store, if you imported them from a CD, you will have to do it again.
NOTE: You can also do this with Apps, Movies, TV Shows, and Books.
NOTE: You may have to sign in with your Apple ID to verify the download.
Hope this helped! Enjoy your music!(: -
I can't copy purchased songs from iTunes onto my iPod on my new computer.
I have an HP Pavilion zd7000 notebook computer. It's used. It was given to me by a family member. I put my iPod software onto it. I can purchase songs from iTunes, and I can connect my iPod and play the music. However, when I tried to put a purchased song from iTunes onto my iPod, I was told that I wasn't allowed. Is there some sort of security thing I don't know about?
Welcome to Apple Discussions!
Are you sure your computer is authorized for this? This is probably your issue.
If you go to the "Advanced" tab on the top in iTunes, is there a "Deauthorize computer..." button or an "Authorize computer..." button? If there's an "authorize computer" link, then that is your issue. Authorize your computer, and you should be able to transfer iTMS purchased songs from iTunes to iPod.
For details, see this Apple article:
About iTMS authorization and deauthorization
I hope this helps you,

How to download a song from itunes to my ipod
how do I download a certain song from itunes to my ipod on the computer
You add the sone to yur iTunes libray and sync to your iPod.
You can also go to the Summary pane for the iPod in iTune and check the option to manually manage music and then drag and drop the song from your iTunes library to the iPod. See:

I can't load songs from iMusic onto my iPod
When I attach my iPod to the PC all that happens is the phrase "Do Not Disconnect" shows up on the nano screen. I also can't upload any songs from iMusic to the iPod and I have tried to sync this several times. Am I doing something wrong or is my iPod defective? I appreciate the help.
MikeThanks for the help. Yes, I created a playlist in iTunes so we're doing that right. I originally created a few playlists in iTunes a few months ago when I first bought the iPod and had no trouble synching, but now it won't allow me to do that successfully. As to synching, I am clicking on every Sync iPod command but nothing is transferred between iTunes and the iPod. Any ideas? I assume this is broken. Thanks, Mike

I just purchased a new laptop after my old computer broke,im tryna figure out how to get all of my songs from my itunes library on this computer.....any ideas???
Restore from backup if you have one.
You can also transfer stuff from your iPod if you have one:

If you are in the US or Canada you can download purchased music from the Purchased link in the iTunes store.
Otherwise if the disk drive is OK in your Old PC you can remove it and put it in a USB drive enclosure and then use it as an external disk on your new PC, then you copy the muisc from there. -
I purchased an album from iTunes using my desktop computer. All of the songs from the album are on my computer and play perfectly. When I try to sync the songs to my iPhone or iPad, I get an error message that says 3 of the songs can not be downloaded to these devices. Any ideas?
Thanks very much I have contacted them via this. Just hope they respond quickly- rather annoing! Greatly appreciated though

My macbook pro is already authorized, but a purchased song from iTunes keeps stating that my computer is not authorized to play it. I enter my apple ID and password, upon which a window confirms that my computer is already authorized. Yet the song still won't play and continues to state that my computer is not authorized.
If you live in a country in which you are allowed to re-download purchased music delete the track from the library and the HDD and re-download it.
