iLugger makes travel case for 23" but not 20" ACD. Does anyone know of a good travel case for the 20"?

Hardshell travel case for G5 powermac?

I have to transport my Quad on airplanes on occassion and looking for a brand/model of a hardshell case that would allow me transport the machine in the overhead bin or below in the cargo hold as I find the new "original boxes" are not as sturdy on the sides as the old boxes. One with wheels would be ideal.

I would recommend have a custom flight case built. You can have it made to you specs, and it won't cost as much as you think. I have a friend who owns a company that makes cases for many famous rock bands. These cases are designed to protect priceless equipment. His cases are amazing.

Best Traveling case for video editors.

Any suggestions for traveling with a 17" MBP to do editing work? I need to carry on the plane my 17" MBP along with the cables needed to connect everything on site. I will put the rest of my gear in my suitcase. I was using my Brenthaven with my old PB 17" but it seems that the MBP is a tighter fit and I don't want to stand in airport security for 10 minutes trying to remove the computer. Thanks.

Protective Cases for ACD HD 23" While Traveling

Hello Guys
I will soon be purchasing the 23inch ACD. I was wondering where I could locate a good protective case for my 23inch display while I travel. I went to a local apple store and they recommended that I could either ship it or buy a case from a music store, the type that they use for drums and other music equiment.

What do you guys recommend? I'll be changing dorms over the summer and then once I am done during the middle of summer I will be flying back home. Should I ship it with a certain shipping company or should I get a case for it?

This is a good idea, I took my monitor from the US to Indonesia and put it in the original box. It arrived in a very good condition. No damage whatsoever. Been using it for over 6 months and it's fine.

I bought my MOTU Traveler for the portability. Does anyone know of a good, protective carrying case for my MacBook Pro and my MOTU?

I have the same gear. I just use the Incase neoprene zipbags. (from the apple store, about $30 each.) I got the 17" laptop case to fit my MOTU Traveler. Works great for me.

Travel adaptor for Macbook with magsafe connector?

Has anyone found anyone that sells a aircraft travel adaptor for the Macbook?
Kensington do one for the old iBook but a magsafe connector version has not appeared.
Hopefully this is not becasue Apple have patented the design of the magsafe connector and are not letting anyone else produce them.
If this is indeed the case, and Apple don't produce their own travel adapter, I will be quite cross as the whole point of having a laptop is so you can take it with you when you are travelling.
If the voltages for the iBook are the same as the Macbook how about producing an iBook to Magsafe adapter so we can use the 3rd party travel adapters?

I just checked and the prongs on my MB adapter are exactly the same as the ones on my iPod power adapter. They should work just fine.
From a manufacturing standpoint, it makes no sense to have two different products for the same exact job.

How about a hard-shell case for the Zen Mic

I recently bought my Zen Micro and the one accessory that I still need to pick up for it is a case. Now I know there is a pouch for it, but what I really want is a something more protecti've to put up with the rigors of travelling.
I see they have the leather case which covers the entire unit and looks to currently be the best bet to offer some overall protection of the unit. But what I can't seem to find (either through Creative or a third party) is a hard-shell case. I'd love to have a good, solid clamshell-type of case (either hard plastic, or even metal) like you can get for PDAs. I've got a metal case for my Palm and I'm sure its been that device's best friend in terms of protection from all of the bumps and bruises of travel.
So if anyone fm Creative is peeking in here - that's my big suggestion for you all.
An if anyone knows if such a case does exist, please feel free to post back.

Yeah I saw this a few days ago - thank you - but its not quite what I'm looking for. If I wasn't clear, I am looking for a hardshell case that completely closes up the unit. This one is cut open on the front for access to the buttons. I was looking for one similar to the leather case where the entire unit is fully enclosed, basically with the only opening being for the headphones.
I do like the earbuds offered on this website - the ones with the little lapel clip spool.

I believe the case has majorly scratched my iPod screen and I'd like to see what other users have to say.
There is a tag on the inside left side of the case - when you close the case with the iPod inside the tag touches the iPod screen and has majorly scratched the iPod screen. I believe this product to be defective for this reason. Please let me know!!!

I have both the Air and Mini, and 2 mac minis. I honestly cant decide between either of them,...my Mac Mini is the best desktop I have ever owned, however its purpose is almost totally different from that of my AIR, which is for travel, etc.
Since YOU are heading off to college and traveling, Id certainly get the AIR, between the two.
Both have the HIGHEST used resale value of any other laptop / desktop. Both are great choices.
