Travel Management--Webdynpro ABAP Services

This has reference to Enhancement Pack 2 ABAP Webdynpro Travel iviews. We installed enhacement package 2 and activated/switched on the business function FIN_TRAVEL_1.
The ABAP Webdynpro services were successfully loaded in the backend and the same have been activated and tested through SICF.We expected that the Webdynpro ABAP iviews would also be loaded in the PCD. But we are unable to find these ABAP Webdynpro iviews. Please let us know what could be the reason and what further needs to be done.

We found BP for ESS_1.2 package and deployed the same.(SAP_ESS and PCUI java components 602 is not available in any of the 4 parts downloaded)
Following was the path from were this EHP2 pack was downloaded:
service.sap.com ->Downloads-? SW Distribution Center-->Entry By Application group->SAP Application Components->SAP ERP->SAP Enhance Package--->SAP ERP ENHANCE PACKAGE 2005.2
Kindly can u tell us the path from where we can upgrade our SAP_ESS and PCUI java components to 602...
And, one more thing if this: SAP_ESS and PCUI java components for 602 is not applied than how am I able to see all iviews ??...i can actually go to create travel request and create one....BUT i am not getting the desired functionality.

We are trying to install SAP ECC 6.0 enhancement package 2 but we have some problem in the same as we are not able to find the same in sap marketplace. Can you please post me the direct link to download or any info regarding the Enhancement Package-2.
We have also version prior to ECC 6.0 . So can you please tell me how to look into the Java-webdynpro components those which are related to travel management.

Webdynpro ABAP - service inactive

I begin with Webdynpro Abap, in transaction se80 views on the tab Layout, I have the screen (on the left with the button Show/Hide Layout Preview) (http page) : The page cannot be displayed ... 10061 - Connection refused ... The server you are attempting to access has refused the connection with the gateway. This usually results from trying to connect to a service that is inactive on the server.
In transaction SICF, I have activated services under default host/ sap /bc and service wdvd HTTP Service View Designer. But a tet service give the same errors.

Hi,
Pls try to save your host address( check the Address on SAP LOG ON pad-Change Item)
and try to add this in DRIVERS list.
In start -> Run-> give Drivers-> open ETC folder-> drivers-> open with notepad. and try to give ur sap address (server->check in change item) save it.
Now run the application agan.
You can also find this Adress in Properties of BSP/Webdynpro Application in the Host Adress field.

E recruitment Internal error( Rabax_state) in webdynpro abap services

Hi all,
We are facing an error as shown below in our webdynpro services for E recruitment release 604 level 0006 and Ecc 6.0 , all customizations has been done , trex already installed and running properly but many of services throwing this error as below . I have searched extensively on sdn but not found the solution , tried debugg dump in st22, pls guide me , i am stuck up in between due to this error.

Hi,
such errors can have quite a number of reasons. As a first step I'd head for the sap-load-generator (T-Code SGEN) and run it over the complete system and after it over all web dynpro applications. When everything is finished invalidated the http server caches e.g. by usung T-Code smicm.
If this is not successful please give us a nother post.

Webdynpro ABAP Services on SUS

Hi Gurus,
I am working for process design with SRM 7.0 EhP1 and I needed one information on RFx outside firewall.
RFx & supplier registration is now webdynpro & rest of SUS functionality remains BSP. I had questions how suppliers will be able to access the webdynpro services on SUS, will it require a separate portal for supplier?

You can use NWBC service (Tcode sicf : sap/bc/nwbc/srm/) with appropriate ABAP roles example for bidder use /SAPSRM/SUCO_BIDDER_EHP1

ESS - Travel Management generate exception ID

Hi experts-
I'm havving some troubles using ESS por travel management. Every services I try to select generate the same error.
Exception: Send the ID exception to the portal adminsitrator.

just to make sure we don't missunderstand each others. I'm talking about the system alias, not the system ID.
Could you maybe post your System ID and the assigned System aliases here to clear this out?
Example --> System ID D66_100, Aliases: R3_Travel, HCM_System, etc
You should also try to run a connection check for the respective System ID in System Landscape Destination.

Manager Self Service MSS EHP5 in Webdynpro ABAP?

Hi All, I have one question. According with the different documents and the OSS Note 1450179 - ESS Based on Web Dynpro ABAP Available as of EHP5 we know that now is possible to use another portal different than SAP portal in order to use the ESS. Right?
But .. what about the MSS? I can´t find info about if the MSS is WEBdynpro ABAP enabled or not. Is it possible to use the MSS with another portal (Websphere) ?
Or is the MSS only for WebDynpro JAVA so that means SAP portal?

According to Note 1588625 - Release information for Manager Self-Services Add-On 1.0, the MSS addon will be release for Portal and NWBC , so if you don´t want to use a porta you can use NWBC but,
How can we call it from a Websphere portal? Is there any integration option using NWBC and Websphere portal?
And in Note 1582553 - Release strategy for the ABAP add-on EA-HR_MSS you can see that now, the availability of EA-HR_MSS is only in controlled availability, and until end of 2011 will not be fully released!!

Travel Management in WebDynpro for ABAP uses FPM (floor plan manager).
General Data View in FITE_VC_GENERAL_DATA component is being shared by Travel Creation component and travel expense as well.
Can you please help to ans below queries?

When Create Travel Request button/link is clicked after general data, Review Component will be called and when Create Travel Expense button/link is called after general data it will go to a different component view.

Customization of Travel Management in Webdynpro ABAP

Hi Friends,
In Travel Management, we have General_data screen and framework utilizing this screen in travel Request creation, expense creation and other places, but my requirement is to add some additional fields in travel request creation screen.
For this I have to differentiate the screen based on some parameters, how to do this please help me.
If we dont have any parameter to differ this screens, give me the code to get the iview name, based on this i will put some additional fields in the screen.

Webdynpro ABAP Travel and Expenses

Hi All,
         I have configured Webdynpro ABAP Travel and Expenses with ESS 1.41. I am able to submit an expense request and view the PDF form when I click on the Display form in the request. I am using the standard worklfow WS20000040 for trip approval. When I submit a trip it comes back to the employee for for the trip consistent check. In this step when I click on the "Display Form" button I am getting the error "Value null of URL parameter SAP_FITV_PERSNO has the wrong type".
I followed the steps mentioned in the migration guide attached to the note 1076144 and I have uploaded the XML file provided for EHP4 in the portal.

The bindings in the workflow are correct, I am not sure why the values are not being passed from the UWL to the FITV_TRIP_FORM application.

We are also facing the same issue.
But still we are facing the issue. we have implimented the note 1076144 but not 1239932.
Is it mandatory to impliment the second note.
The reason we didnt impliment note 1239932 is that, we are not using FITV_POWL_TRIPS application.
we are using the UWL iview for travel workitems
Kindly help in sorting this issue.

The forum just died on me and my post was discarded, so here's the short form:
Packages: PTRM_WEB_UI, PTRM_WEB_POWL.
My advice: Don't narrow this down on packages, there are numerous used Components in numerous packages you'll inevitably find whilst forward-navigating the the respective Views of the Applications you want to use/configure.
Customizing: Sorry, nothing specific here. The IMG documentation was sufficient for me.
Enhancements: Here's a link I found to be useful. Maybe you'll come across Enhancing some Applications as well:

WD ABAP Travel management

We have activated business function FIN_TRAVEL_1 in ECC in order to use ABAP WD based applications through BP for ESS 1.41.
Based on this [online sap documentation|http://help.sap.com/erp2005_ehp_04/helpdata/en/97/7dc46839ff314f863b90e7fbd12c8e/frameset.htm] , it explains by saying - once expenses request is approved by manager, a mail will be trigerred to FI department for payment posting using background job processing program (RPRFIN00_40).
But, it does explain how the advance section is handled whenever employee is requesting for advance via travel request once it is approved by manager. Can anybody tell how this is handled in FI ?
Another more sceanrio, is there any option is Travel management wherein employee can only request for advance - for example employee is planned to extend his/her stay on deputaion ?
Is tcode trip is absolute or still continued to be use in ECC ?

This workflow..for If a trip with status request approved/settled or trip approved/settled is assigned the status transferred to FI by transfer program RPRFIN00_40, a workflow is started, based on template type TripTransFI.

First, The ISR Scenarios are not for iviews. They are just a part of a view. We can use webdynpro ABAP with the ISR Scenarios. We need to embed these forms into our webdynpro ABAP views and code accorsdigly to get the data. There are some standard components that are provided by SAP to handle ISR Forms with Webdynpro. Check these.
