Travelling from the US to York City Centre

We're renting a flat in York, UK. I don't have the specific address yet, but I believe it's in the Woodsmill Quay building.  I've searched on the hotspot map and found that there are three BT FON hotspots located within that building which may or may not be accessible in the flat we're renting.  The flat does not, itself, have internet (much to our dismay).
We've looked into obtaining a wireless voucher for our trip.  We'll be arriving on the 27th of June and departing York on the 4th of July.  So we were looking at the 5 day voucher.  I've looked over the FAQs and the questions we have aren't being answered there.  I tried to send an email to the contact email that was on the website ([email protected]) but that bounced with a 550 5.1.1 User unknown error.  Soooo, I'm trying out posting here.
Our questions:
1) If we buy a 2000 minute 5-day voucher, can we log into more than one computer at a time with it?  We are both bringing our netbooks with us, and we'd both like to be able to log in from our own computers. If they
couldn't be logged in at the same time on the same account from two different computers, could they be logged in consecutively? Or would we have to buy two such vouchers, one for each computer?
2) IF we purchase this voucher, would we then be able to attempt to use it to connect to one of those three BT FON hotspots that are located within the building where we are renting the flat (assuming for the time being that one might be within reach)?  Or would we only be able to use those vouchers at the open hotspot across the river?
I'd appreciate any help in finding answers to these questions.

Hi MorgannaLeFey,
BT Fon may not be a reliable solution for you to use as this is dependant on the residents in the flat having there BT Home Hub (BT's ADSL Wireless Access Point) switched on and working correctly.
You can however purchse a USB Pay As You Go Dongle (a 3G data stick) from high street stores in the UK which will come with data from about £20.00.
If you get one which has the same network as the states, then you can use a US sim card in the device when you are back home saving you even more money (however i dont know your data plan costs).
