Tree format

APEX 4.2 on the hosted service.... I have been trying to find out how to mark certain nodes in a tree with some kind of format that would indicate that they are already selected for the user (this is items security granted for a given user from another tree)
I have tried DECODE ID WHEN 8 THEN '<span style="color:white;background-color:blue;">'||NODE_NAME||'</span>' ELSE NODE_NAME but this just gets passed through!
I'm sure I read something on google about this but I cant find it again
How do I highlight certain nodes or in fact do anything more sophisticated with the tree - I just cant find any documentation or examples and so many posts seem to be so old as not to be useful.
What I really want is to open the tree with several nodes lit up and then allow the user to select more or deselect (this is to copy functionality in an existing .net app)

    the tree structure must be defined in a tree model that you then associate as the value to the tree component. I think the best doc to start with is from Trinidada: http://myfaces.apache.org/trinidad/devguide/tree.html
    Note that ADF Faces components base on Trinidad, so the docs can be used here as well. Also, while you are on this page, have a look at the XML Menu Model, which is a nice way of creating hierarchical structures in XML so the structure is not hard coded in a Java class

  • How to have KM useful links ivew in a drill down tree format.

    I am having a KM iview which displays useful links.
    The problem is it initially displays only one/two levels of drilldown from the configured root folder. How can we modify such that it displays <b>n</b> levels of folders & links from the configured.
    Also here in the iview every user is having access to organize the folders & links with the command link <b>Organize Entries </b>. How can we configure such that this link is visible only when a Role is assigned to the user.

    I am using KM Navigation iview to display Useful links.
    I was using <b>LinlListExplorer</b> layout set earlier.
    On search in SDN and SAP help found that we can use <b>RoomTreeLayoutSet</b> to display the KM folders in drilldown tree format.
    But unfortunatly, when I preview this <b>RoomTreeLayoutSet</b> in KM config it works fine but when I use this in the iview layout profile, the none of the folder / documents are displayed..
    Does anybody came across this issue earlier, how can this be resolved.

    I found the option to print contract (Tools-Print ) but it doesn’t show the data in tree form,

    Matchcodes were used in ancient releases - if you are still at such a platform I see no way.
    Sucsessors of matchcodes are search helps. You can use search help exits to display a tree and choose a value from tree. It is quite easy. Function F4IF_SHLP_EXIT_EXAMPLE is a template for that including a lot of documentation.

  • Unable to test DMEE tree format

    I'm almost done with my tree format in tranx DMEE to use it with the Payment Medium Workbench. I've activated my tree and it seems fine, but when I try to test iT I dont get the Data output dialog box anymore (in the begining i did). Why could this be?     I ‘m using generic withholding tax program RFIDYYWT but in DMEE tree transaction i see only one format of file : IDWTFILE_UK_CIS36E for withholding tax
    I know that there’s a format of file for France : IDWTFILE_FR_DAS2
    But is it possible to use it with SAP4.6c version ?
    And how can I install this file format for France (steps in customizing , ossnote to apply ?????)

    Withholding tax is calculated and posted to the appropriate withholding tax accounts at different stages, depending on the legal requirements in each country. As a rule, withholding tax is posted at the same time that the payment is posted, in other words the outgoing payment (Accounts Payable) or incoming payment (Accounts Receivable), is reduced by the withholding tax amount.
    In certain countries, such as Brazil, the Philippines, and Spain, withholding tax can or must be posted when the invoice is posted. This means that the amount receivable or payable is reduced by the withholding tax amount.
    Extended withholding tax supports both concepts.
    The key concept in extended withholding tax is the distinction between withholding tax type and withholding tax code. While withholding tax types represent basic calculation rules, specific features of these rules - in particular the percentage rate -
    are represented by the withholding tax code. You can define any number of withholding tax codes for a given withholding tax type.

  • Error copy PS2 Format Tree format in DMEE tree type PAYM

    Hello,
    I need to modify the standar format tree PS2 to Portugal,  I have created a copy using the transaction DMEE.
    I want to change the name of the employee with the number of the employee.
    When I run the standar report to get the bank flat file using the copy format,  I don't understand why the output is different if I only did a copy without modify nothing.

  • CSS inspector lacks "Add Property" icon and "tree" format.

    This probably has a very simple solution, but here's the story: In all the tutorials, the CSS inspector window shows the CSS cascade formatted as a sort of tree, with lines connecting the various properties. When I open DreamWeaver, the inspector just shows the properties in a vertical column. Is there a way I can make it display the tree outline?
    Also, there's no "Add Properties" icon on my CSS inspector.
    I sincerely hope there's a quick fix for this.

    Assuming you have CSS style rules embedded in your page or the HTML document is linked to an external stylesheet, hit the ALL button.
    To add a new rule, hit the + sign.

    hi experts
    i have a report which displays out put in alv grid display with 17 fields.
    my requirement is i have to change the alvgrid display output into ALV Tree with
       9 levels with fields and their descriptions.
    i should mantain back option in alv tree output.when i press back button it should come to
      selection scree or previous screen.
