Tree limbs down on lines

Since Hurricane Sandy, there have been two large tree limbs down on the lines behind our house. They are not on the power lines, only the phone and cable lines. There has been no interruption in service, but the limbs are very large (12-16 inches across) and are hanging on the lines. They must be putting quite a bit of weight on the lines, because they have cause quite a bit of deflection in them already. They also do not appear to be very stable. There's no way that I can remove them safely, and our tree removal service was hesitant because of how the trees are positioned on the lines. What is Verizons policy regarding this situation?
I should add that the limbs are not on the lines running to our house, those are run below ground. The limbs are on the main lines servicing our block. The worst part is, it's not even branches from our tree. It's from our neighbors tree, and I'm not even sure that the lines are on our property (they run along the property line). The majority of the branch is resting in our yard however.

Your issue has been escalated to a Verizon agent. Before the agent can begin assisting you, they will need to collect further information from you. Please go to your profile page for the forum and look at the top of the middle column where you will find an area titled "My Support Cases". You can reach your profile page by clicking on your name beside your post, or at the top left of this page underneath the title of the board.
Under "My Support Cases" you will find a link to the private board where you and the agent may exchange information. The title of your post is the link. This should be checked on a frequent basis, as the agent may be waiting for information from you before they can proceed with any actions. To ensure you know when they have responded to you, at the top of your support case there is a drop down menu for support case options. Open that and choose "subscribe". In Firefox browser only (NOT IE,) Yahoo Mail screen jumps up, then down 1 line every few seconds.

The following happens ONLY when I use Firefox.
It does NOT happen when I use IE; and it happens ONLY in Yahoo Mail.
Whenever I'm in Yahoo Mail, my screen jumps 1 line--alternating up, then down--every 5-15 seconds.
While composing e-mail, when I get ready to click on something or type something, the screen will jump up or down 1 line and cause me to click on something I don't want, or type something in the wrong place.
It's also extremely annoying to try to read mail.

Do you have the Yahoo! Toolbar?
Start Firefox in [[Safe Mode]] to check if one of your add-ons is causing your problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Add-ons > Themes).
* Don't make any changes on the Safe mode start window.

If it does work in Safe-mode then disable all your extensions and then try to find which is causing it by enabling one at a time until the problem reappears.

Blockquote moves everything down a line.

Hello All,
I am making a website for a class and am having a huge problem with blockquotes. Everytime I insert a block quote into a table, it moves all text, images, etc one line down in the browser. So basically it looks great in dreamweaver but when previewed in a browser, all the text is moved down a line (vertically). I am using a photoshop theme I made and set that as the table background. I have columns in which I place the heading, main content, etc.
I would really appreciate any help. I have spent the last week trying to figure out this problem.

Why is text jumping down a line when typing?

If there is 2 or more rows of text and I move back my cursor to type more on a previous line... the cursor randomly jumps down a line or so and I start typing on an unintentional line? Any idea why this might be happening?
I'm using the wireless keyboard. Battery is almost fully charged so that can't be the issue.

After some testing... I think it's because the right side of my hand is over the arrow keys and it may be hitting those keys without me noticing. Pretty sure that's what is happening.

Unless you choose to subscribe to or purchase something, no, you will not get "stung". However, in most cases what you would be downloading is the app for the magazine which may or may not include a sample issue. you would still need purchase issues or subscribe. Some print subscriptions (such as NatGeo, for example) also include a free digital subscription. Read the app descriptions carefully and check out the In-App Purchases section. There are a handful of publications that are completely free (but these are not the rule).

When writing an email or word doc, If i press ' key on my keyboard it returns down a line

Every-time i use the Apostrophe key ' when writing an email on Mac mail the curser automatically drops down a line, like I've hit the enter key.
Please help me fix.

Try a different keyboard. At least on the QWERTY USA keyboards, the two keys are side by side. If anything gets stuck between those keys, it can make it take both keys as a command. Alternatively if you aren't careful where you type, you may hit enter when you've not meant to. Pulling the keys off the keyboard is rarely recommended as you can damage the key mechanism. There are keyboard vacuums that can help if the machine is turned off. I would not use them when the machine is turned on, as static electricity could easily damage the mechanism when it is on.

On my Z10 the Return/Enter Key is present until a Contact is added.
So if I want to drop down to start a new line,
I add the recipient after I finish writing the text.

I'm trying to print onto mailing labels, but it won't line up correctly. It looks right on the template and the 1st row prints right. The text keeps moving down a line on each row of labels, preventing it from printing the rest of them correctly.

There are several ways you can go about this.
1. Most labels come with Word templates or downloadable Word templates. Simply open those in Pages.
2. Make a table with extra cells for the thin spaces between the labels and skinny those down to match the spaces. ie You have big fat cells for the actually labels and thin narrow empty ones for the gaps.
3. Make a floating Text box the size of one label, format with dummy text just the way you like it.
+Menu > Format > Advanced > Define as Placeholder text+
You can now drag and drop snippets of text, the addresses etc onto those and it will replace them matching the style of the existing text.
You duplicate that text box into position of the other labels by clicking on it with the command kety held down, then drag copy it up or across with the option and shift keys held down. Fine tune the positions with:
+Inspector > Metrics > Position+

When I type words like I've or I'll or can't, when I type the ' the curser drops down a line like this:

Several thread on this.
Appears to be a random bug in Mail and Smart Quotes or Spell checking.
Some have found that disabling Smart Quotes in the Substitutions worked around the problem.
Others found that setting the spell check to check while typing instead of on send worked.

Sending DTMF down the line while connected to another mobile

I would like to be able to ring up another mobile.
(My phone can do this ;-)
When i have made the connection to the other mobile load up an application on my phone and then send dtmf tones down the line every 40ms.
I know this can not be done in MIDP1 phones as the KVM is killed when a call is recieved. And i dont think you can start a MIDlet while you are on a call.
So can any of newer phones(MIDP2 with maybe an API) let me do this?
Maybe the a Smart-phone or maybe a phone that will be released soon?
I have not used Symbain yet but you can do a lot more as it is not got Java security features.
Is this impossible on all phones to transmit DTMF down the line when you ring somebody ~( I dont need the phone that has been called to do anything)

As far as I know this wake up feature for a Midlet to do something is possible in MIdp2

Hallow I wont to do a concatenate and I wont down a line in the middle (between the to strings) how can i do that (in c++ i do \n for that)

If my understanding is correct what you want is , we have two strings 'TEST' and 'TEST1' and the resulting string you want is
'TEST
TEST1' .
If that is the case , i dont think this is possible.
Just one more query , why do you want such a thing , may be we can suggest you some other alternative

Why does pressing the down arrow button result in going to the bottom of the page and being nunable to go up or down one line at a time?

i dont know what to say in way of clarification. when looking at a page i am forced to use the "slide" on the margin which is very sensitive on very long documents instead of the down arrow to move one line. pressing the arrow results in going to the bottom and you cant return using the arrow.

The arrow to open the tab history of the Back and Forward buttons has been removed in Firefox 4 and later.
Use one of these methods to open the tab history list:

* Hold down the left mouse button on the enabled Back or Forward button until the list opens

CO-PA Report: Incorrect Drill-Down to Line Item Report result (KE32 / KE34)

We have created a CO-PA report and assigned the ability to call up the CO-PA Line Item report (KE24).
When we drill-down from a cell within the report for an actual amount for a specific period, the line item report displays the line-items from the prior period?

Down payment line item not generated in Invoice

Dear Gurus,
I am using the standard down payment functionality as follows
Create contract will Billing plan
- Down payment 100% (500)
- Invoice year 1 50% (250)
- Closing Invoice 50% (250)
Customer pays Down payment 500
When I create the year 1 invoice, I expected 2 lines i.e.
10. Invoice 250
11. Down payment clearing 250
However the Down payment (DP) line is not created. Can you please help on this?. Why is no DP line generated?
I have followed all down payment configuration steps. Which configuration step could be missing??
