Tree movement from Peoplesoft to Hyperion

Hi all,
I'm new to DRM and presently working on implementing a project where DRM would be used to manage the Hierarchies and Peoplesoft would be the main application which would send tree structures to DRM on an adhoc basis. My Question is,
1. What are are ways to move tree structures from P.S into DRM ?
One thing is to take exports from P.S ,then manipulate it to a DRM readable format and then import it into DRM (and then Blend with the existing tree). But what are the other options available here?
2. Also, how to set up Hyperion DRM initially with the P.S tree structures?

I see what you mean now. It sounds like you'll need to pull in the tables from various studio databases and also edit some of the native studio application tables to associate the new tables. Unfortunately I've never tried this and don't have any instructions I can share with you. In terms of the portlets, i'm not sure how easy it would be to migrate them. You could upgrade the various WCI instances to 10g then use the migration utility to move the studio portlets to your main wci 10g instance. Or like you said, create new portlets. Keep in mind direct manipulation of your databases can render your product unsupportible by technical support. The more supportable alternative may be to just build all the studio databases and portlets from scratch in the new instance.

We've Installed Hyperion Performance Scorecard 9.3
Now we are looking a way to how do we Integrate our Peoplesoft 8.9 Data (Oracle DB)(like employees performance documents where we record all the achievements,performance,competencies etc. things)?
From the Internet i found some fade information that Oracle Data Integration adapter is required for this(Hyperion Data Integration Management Adapter for Performance Scorecard).
There seems Oracle has not provided proper documentations on Installing and using above things unlike Oracle DB have.
If anybody have some Docs and links for Hyperion Data Integration Management Adapter for Performance Scorecard installation would be helpful.

HT1657 I rented a movie from iTunes but it is not showing up in the Movies section. What do I do?

I just rented and downloaded a movie from iTunes and now it will not show up in my iTunes library. What do I do?
It DOES show up in iTunes on my iPhone. It DOES NOT show up on my desktop.
Any thoughts? Ideas?
I rented it for a flight I get on in 3 hours. Any quick help would be great.

You can only watch the movie on the device you rented it on. Here's a snippet from the Apple Support site (italics mine):
If you download a rented movie on your computer: You can transfer it to a device such as your Apple TV (1st generation), iPhone, iPad, or iPod if it’s a standard-definition film (movies in HD can only be watched on your computer, iPad, iPhone 4 or later, iPod touch (4th generation or later), or Apple TV). Once you move the movie from your computer to a device, the movie will disappear from your computer's iTunes library. You can move the movie between devices as many times as you wish during the rental period, but the movie can only exist on one device at a time.
If you download a rented movie on your iPhone 4 or later, iPad, iPod touch (4th generation or later), or Apple TV: It is not transferable to any other device or computer.

How can I get an HD movie from iTunes store to play on original iPad

I recently purchased an HD movie--Brave--from the iTunes store. I'm trying to play on my original iPad (iPad 1), but iTunes refuses to synch it because it says it is an unsupported format. The movie is in 1080p format. I typically get both HD and SD formats when I purchase movies, but iTunes no longer downloads the SD version automatically when I purchase the HD version. I attempted to get an SD version from the store, but it said I already purchased the movie and instructed me to check the downloads. There is no SD download pending and a check for new downloads was fruitless.
Can someone confirm that the original iPad is unable to play HD video? I imagine it is the 1080p that's the problem. Can anyone confirm that 720p would work? Is there no longer a means to get both HD and SD when purchasing a movie from the iTunes store? If there is, how?

You can get the SD or 720p version by:
Open iTunes 11
Click iTunes in menu bar > select Preferences...
Click on the Store tab
Change When downloading High Definition videos, prefer dropdown to 720p > click OK
Click on the iTunes Store button
Click Purchased link
Click Movies tab
You should now see a download icon for the movies you already have 1080p version of.
Click on this download icon to download the 720p version.
This will put a 720p version in the same folder on your hard drive as the 1080p version. If you have iTunes setup to play 1080p when available, it will play the 1080p version. When you connect your iPad 1, it will sync the 720p version.
Don't forget to change your preference back to 1080p so you can continue to get the higher quality version.

You don't use Airplay. You set up Home Sharing on both and under the Computers section of AppleTV you'll then find it under Movies (or Rentals if rented), assuming it's in a compatible format.

Rented a movie from iTunes, playback has stopped and no longer works.

Unable to capture movie from camcorder.

I had tried to capture a movie from HDV camcorder for the first time since I updated to 10.5,
and got a green and pink image from iMovie. It looked like signals been mixed or track is off.
Then I tried with Quicktime and it seemed like working in the beginning but at the end of the clip
an error occurs saying unable to save the movie. FCP HD crashes trying to do capture either.
Anyone with similar symptoms? Any troubleshoot check list anyone?

yes, my powerbook is too slow to capture at full resolution, so I've tried with smaller size w/
'better' setting, i believe w/.264 encoding, but still i got an error. I don't know why this happen.
i had no problem before upgrading to 10.5. i checked the mini DV tape for any defect playing
it back and capture but it's not the cause. I was able to capture same tape with same camcorder
on my new iMac D2C .1.5.1 at my office. perhaps something to do with G4 or PPC version of OS...

G'Day All,
Is it possible to move Exchange 2007 mailboxes to Exchange 2013 in a different forest? Both environment has all the required patches and service packs.
There is a two way trust, and I don't want to introduce Exchange 2010 CAS in the source forest if I don't need to.
I have read the following article http://msexchangeguru.com/2013/11/03/e2013crossforestmigration/ but it is not clear what is the required to setup in Exchange 2007. I have read many other articles to do with Exchange 2013 mailbox moves, endpoints,
etc, but non of them is clear of how does it work having Exchange 2007 source.

is it a movie you have shot yourself or is it one you have downloaded?
if it's a download then you need to uninstall via iTunes, just uncheck the movie and then sync,
if it is one you have shot yourself then :
Tap select top right: tap the video you want to delete: tap the bin.

Hi everyone,
I fear the worst here. I downloaded a TV show from iTunes and watched it fine on my external display (a full blown HD tv). Then I downloaded an HD movie from the iTunes store but my iPad2 says it's unable to play protected content. What gives ???
Is there a work-around to this or does my gut-feeling tell me Apple has restricted the use of an external display for some commercial reason ?
What's the point of buying full HD content if you can't watch it on full HD gear ?

One workarwound is to do the following:
1. Remove the digital content from iTunes (but keep the files)
2. Rename all .m4v files to .mp4 files
3. Add the files back to iTunes
This seems to fix the problem for me

Can I play a movie from my ipod classic onto my ipad screen?

I have a 160 GM ipod classic that holds all my movies. I would like to buy a 16 GM ipad 3 but I know it won't be able to hold my movies. Can I stick with the 16 GB ipad 3 but play my movies on it from my ipod classic? I want to buy a wifi ipad and not a 4G one so when I'm driving in the car and I want to show movies to my kids in the back I won't be able to access the icloud or dropbox, etc. Can I connect my movies from my ipod classic directly to the ipad with a cord to watch them on the ipad?

So if I want to be able to watch all my movies or listen to all 50 GB of my songs I'll need to buy a more expensive 32 or 64 GB ipad and shuffle movies and songs in and out of it or else use the wifi and iCloud. Is that correct? There's no way the ipad can access an external hard drive?
