Treeview control will not drag and drop when project is built.

I have a treeview control that I can perform drag and drop while in edit mode but once I build the executable I can't drag and drop any longer. Are there some settings that I have to change?
I am not using an Active X Control but instead the TreeView control within LabView 8.
A response would be greatly appreciated.

I have the same complaint. Drag and drop worked until last week, 2015-04-05! Must now do one at a time through the ATTACH button at top of E-mail. Why change a good process?

"Could not drag and drop" smart symbol in FW CS4

When I drag a smart symbol from the common library over to my document, I get the message "Could not drag and drop. An error occured." I see this error whether or not I see the library conflict message. However, the symbol is placed in my document despite the error.
Why am I receiving this error when it seems to be working OK?

Can not drag and drop photos in Lightroom 4 map module

In Lightroom4 map module, I can not drag and drop photos onto the map from the filmstrip? I select the photos, and then try and grabbing them to drop them on the map and when I click on one of the pictures to grab, it deselects the others I've selected and only hightlights the one photo, ironically, I can not even drop the one photo onto the map.

i have read the manual. watched videos on youtube, but I can not drag and drop address book contacts into numbers or pages. I upgraded to Numbers 09. set up the fields as stipulated, but when I drag a contact to the numbers canvas it just bounces back to address book. I tried reinstalling 09 thinking it was a faulty install. no luck. Have tried dragging to balnk part of canvas, to the table, and to a table with fields, no luck.

It is as simmple as the title. I can not drag and drop icons or text or folders. Nothing. As for cut, copy, and paste they do not work either. I am trying to back up my files so I can do a clean install of snow leopard. I have leopard currently.

So Copy/Paste, etc. isn't working in say Text Edit?
On the Drag & Drop, where are you trying to drop them, & does the icon move but just not copy?

Look in the Applications folder to see if iPhoto is still there. If it is drag it back to the Finder Sidebar. If it is no longer in the Applications folder post back, you can also look in the Trash it might still be there.

Can NOT drag and drop to combine Events

I've combined Events zillions of times in iPhoto and drag-'n-drop in Aperture 3 also. Today, when I tried to drag one Event into another, it didn't work. It didn't 'release' into the new event when I let go of the mouse button. I restarted iPhoto - same problem. Rebooted my MBP, same problem.
Tried to drag and drop a new photo into my Photostream (from Aperture this time) and the same problem. I click to drag, move the event, and then it appears 'ghosted' and will not release.
I even went into my Sys Prefs to see if it was my mouse, but that looked OK, and I could not replicate this problems in other applications.
I'd love to know why it does this (did I inadvertently check something somewhere) but more importantly, how do I fix this?
Oh yes - I got an error message the first few time about repairing iPhoto, which I let it do - took about 10 minutes, and I've never seen that before in iPhoto. (Aperture, yes, a LOT...)
Oh yes - I can 'Merge Events' from the Menu - that works, but seems cumbersome and the drag-and-drop has worked fine until today...
I am stumpped...

Option 1
Back Up and try rebuild the library: hold down the command and option (or alt) keys while launching iPhoto. Use the resulting dialogue to rebuild. Choose to Repair Database. If that doesn't help, then try again, this time using Rebuild Database.
If that fails:
Option 2
Download iPhoto Library Manager and use its rebuild function. (In Library Manager it's the FIle -> Rebuild command)
This will create an entirely new library. It will then copy (or try to) your photos and all the associated metadata and versions to this new Library, and arrange it as close as it can to what you had in the damaged Library. It does this based on information it finds in the iPhoto sharing mechanism - but that means that things not shared won't be there, so no slideshows, books or calendars, for instance - but it should get all your events, albums and keywords, faces and places back.
Because this process creates an entirely new library and leaves your old one untouched, it is non-destructive, and if you're not happy with the results you can simply return to your old one.

The drop handler fails in converting the selected rows to a list:

I don't know if this helps, but consider that the collection model comes from a ViewObject built on three EOs with many fields, although the table only shows one column.

I've used today the email client and the email address autocompletion feature figured out nicely the email addresses of the recipients I wanted to send the email to. So far so good. No, that is not possible. However, [Mail Scripts|http://homepage.mac.com/aamann/Mail_Scripts.html] has a script to add every address to the address book, allowing you to pick which ones go to which group and to add a new group, if you want.

Can not drag and drop any songs into playlists or ipod.

My iTunes is getting really frustrating. I can not put any of my music onto my ipod because iTunes simply won't let me drag and drop. It won't let me do it onto playlists either, and I don't want to sync my iPod to my iTunes library. I already checked the source files, and made sure that iTunes isn't 'Read Only' but it didn't work and I'm at a complete loss at what to do. Help would be greatly appreciated!
Note: I'm a Windows user (stinky windows) and I have the latest version of iTunes. This hasn't happened before, and it was going on even before I updated my iTunes.

Click in the header of the very first column before the track name.
If any other column is selected, iTunes sorts on that column.
