Trex 7.0 Release 50 HTTP Server red light problem

I have read most of all the messages around the http server.
My scenario is this:
Windows Host 32 bits
Trex 7.00 release 50 installed.
IIS 6.0
Aditional instances on the host : Solution Manager and Saprouter.
The http://host:port:/TREXHttpserver/TREXISAPIExt.dll?CMD=PING has never responded to me. I always get a the message Internt explorer cannot display the webpage.
I have manually created the application, the web site and the virtual directory. I have checked all the rights in the NTFS , Registry and Policy and they are all correct.
But i never get the cmd ping to get it work. Of course in the Services of the trex console the http server is always red.
Any ideas?
PD: I have created a case with SAP, but still no good.

Hi Daniel,
your issue possibly also solved by this new thread?

    Im running OS X server 10.4.11 as an OD Master, i was able to bind my Powerbook running 10.5.4 to my OD and was able to login, once bond the server was listed in Directory Utility with a green light and was responding normally. However ive just installed the 10.5.6 update on my powerbook and now get a red light next to my server in Directory admin, it wont let me unbind unless i do a forced unbind and then a rebind still comes up with the same, red light next to server and server is not responding. I can no longer login to my OD accounts from the client

    I'm having exact same error code right after updating imac to 10.5.6 from 10.5.4. Trying to save to 10.4.11 server running basic file sharing (not server version) produces error: "The finder cannot complete the operation because some data in xxxx could not be read or written. (Error code -36)."
    Transfering a file to the network volume produces a stall for about 2 minutes with no visible warning or spinning beachball, then comes back with error.
    I'm able to create a folder on the remote volume, have double checked permissions, and copying from remote volume works fine.

  • Oracle HTTP Server (OHS)  Installation Problem on Win 2003 Server SP2

    Hi,
    I tried to install Oracle HTTP Server (OHS) on my Windows 2003 server SP2, however I couldn't manage to succeed this.
    I tried on 3 different win2003 server SP2 machines and couldn't able to install properly.
    I easily installed and run this HTTP server on my Windows 7 machine. However on the other partition of my PC
    windows server 2003 is installed. It didn't worked on this OS.
    Once I was somehow able to install OHS on my 64 bit Windows 2008 Server, but again never:((

    A few guesses what could be wrong.
    - Under which user are you installing, does this user have all the rights to create and start stuff.
    - Have you first installed a weblogic server (this should be installed) and did associate any components with the weblogic domain?
    I usually do not associate anything with my weblogic domain and configure the httpd.conf file for the Apache server by hand instead of using the enterprise manager.
    Once the WebLogic server is installed i follow the following steps
    Installation WebTier
    Run setup.exe
    Select Install Software - Do Not Configure.
    Click Next.
    Prerequisite Checks --> Next.
    Accept the default installation directory.
    Click Next.
    Uncheck i wish to... click Next (in the pop-up Yes)
    Click Install.
    Click when the installation it finished and click Finish
    Configuration WebTier
    Run the file <WebTier-Home>/bin/config.bat.
    Click Next
    Uncheck Associate Selected Components with WebLogic Domain and click Next
    Accept the defaults and click Next
    Enter the parameters for the WebCache
    Web Cache Administrator Password: password
    Confirm Password: password
    Click Next.
    Select Auto Port Configuration and click Next.
    Uncheck I wish to... and click Next. (pop-up Yes)
    Click Configure
    Click Next and Click Finish
    When i follow the above steps an instance of the webtier is running.

  • Red light problem 8900

    I forgot my password on my phone last week, and i lost all my contacts and that on my phone, since then the red light has stopped working so it doesnt flash when i get messages or emails, the only thing i have yet to set backup on my blackberry is my emails but i can't see this making a difference so that my red light comes on! is there anyway i can get my red light back on? or will it need repairing or something? thanks for your help!

    In your profiles > advanced > active profile, make certain that your email settings include for the LED notification to be on.
    If it is set on, you can always do a reboot: With the BlackBerry device powered ON, remove the battery a few seconds and then reinsert the battery to reboot.

  • Red light problem

    I have a red light coming from my headphone jack. In the sound output, the only thing there shows optical digital output, though nothing is there. It started when I dropped the computer, and now the internal sound will not work. I tried to spin the toothpick around, and the red light would turn off for a few seconds, then it would flicker back on. This has happened about 5 or 6 times, so Im not sure if Im doing something wrong or if its a bigger problem.
    Thanks!

    Please make a Genius Appointment and take it in for service. The red light is related to the optical digital output.

  • HTTP server download/install problems

    This experience so far has been so awful, I hopt there's a fundamental problem, like I'm trying to download from the wrong place or something.
    I want to set up a Solaris HTTP server to serve up my portlets. I tried downloading the HTTP server from http://download.oracle.com/otn/solaris/apache/apache0921_solaris.tar. Most of the time, I get a timeout error when clicking the link. Once I actually got a download, but when I untarred the file (tar xvf apache0921_solaris.tar), I got a directory checksum error. I also got lots of files and directories, but it's not obvious what to do with them. Do I even have the right download? Is there a more responsive server I can use to try the download again?
    null

    Todd,
    Thank you for pointing out the problem with the Solaris download of the Oracle HTTP Server. We have placed a new file on OTN and I have tested that it downloads and extracts okay. The file is larger than the previous version, so it will take longer to download. Please go ahead and try the new file.

    Thanks again,

  • A strange flashing red light problem on the 8100.

    Blackberry Pearl 8100
    Problem: Usually after using it for the first time after several hours of non-use it will shut off unexpectedly, flash me the red light twice, and then allow me to turn it back on to a long load up. Battery power is fine. No data loss. No unexpected behavior beyond that.
    Should I wipe it?
    Any help is appreciated.
    Thanks.

    I have never seen or heard of a 2008 shipping with, or supporting, 512MB DIMMs, I guess you may try, but then those would be the slower 667MHz FBDIMMs probably, and not 800MHz.
    It would have shipped with 2 x 1GB with one on each Riser, but then to install a full set, move one, and install pairs on a Riser.
    People have had bad memory show with half its correct amount.

  • HTTP Server is red

    installed TREX 7... & connected to EP7... but now the http server in trex monitor is red...
    iis is working...

    https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/sdn/thread?threadID=71527&tstart=0
    Here i will refer trex system installation dir as D:\usr\sap\trex_<instance no>.
    1. Create Web Service extensions
    Add a new extension name – TrexHttpServer
    Required files  -
    add - D:\usr\sap\trex_<instance no>\WebServer\TREXISAPIExt.dll
    Set extension status to allowed
    2. Create Application Pool - appPool_TREX_<trex instance number>
    3. create website - SAP_TREX_<trex instance no>
             path - D:\usr\sap\trex_<instance no>
             application name - none
             application pool - DefaultAppPool
    4. Create a virtual Directory - "TREXHttpServer"
            path - D:\usr\sap\trex_<instance no>\webserver
            application name - TREXHttpServer
            Execute permissions - Scripts and Executables
            Application Pool - ApplPool_TREX_<instance no>
    5. Right click on D:\usr\sap\trex_<instance no> and Choose Properties --> Security.
    Add TREX user with full control and IUSR_hostname with read and execute permissions.
    6. Open the TREX configuration file TREXWebServer.ini in D:\usr\sap\trex_<instance no> and change
    the URL to <http://><trexserver>:<port>/TrexHttpServer/TREXISAPIExt.dll>
    7. Open Dos prompt and execute command “iisreset”. THIS IS THE LINE
    8.Stop and start the Trex Server.
    9.Execute the url "http://<trexserver>:<port>/TrexHttpServer/TREXISAPIExt.dll?CMD=PING"
    in browser and you should see "OK Server Connection".
    10. Open Trex administration and you should see green light besides https server.

  • Problem with TREX 7.0 : HTTP Server is not working

    Hi all,
    I have installed TREX 7.0 recently(Windows XP Pro, with IIS 5.1). I'm having portal installed in the same system(NW04s). After this installation I found that status of httpserver is red, rest all servers are having green status. I checked it in IIS, there also its indicating same(SAP_TREX_02 (Stopped)). I tried to connect http://<host-name>:30205/TREXHttpServer/TrexIsapiExt.dll, but its giving error as,
    Error occurred when connecting to the server!
    Description: Can't connect to the server.
    Server: <host-ip>:30205
    Additional info: Error code: 10061
    Proxy+ 3.00 (Build #232), Date: Wed, 07 May 2008 19:11:59 GMT
    I'm not able to get why http server is not able to get up. Please help me to resolve this problem. Waiting for some quick response.
    Thanks in advance,
    Ganpati Jha

    Hi,
    do you configured TREX server in EP ?
    You must configure the TREX name server in Visual Admin, to point to TREX.
    Your error message say "Server: <host-ip>:30205", what is  <host-ip>? I think that is the problem, it must be your server name.
    Check this:

  • Red Light in Server.app Website Pane

    Hi, newbie here. Am I doing something wrong in that I get this red light in the below screen shot? Confused.
    https://dl.dropbox.com/u/451249/mdmimagehost/murraysorg.png
    Thank you for any insight!

    Hi Matthew,
    quick question - there is your server and its plugged directly into the internet modem ( no intervening router or nat translaltion and your server is doing nat and dhcp for your local network? Is that correct as per the line under ?
    Internet <--> Modem in bridge mode  <-> Server  - with Internet IP Address
    or is it ?
    Internet <--> Modem / Router <--- > Server  - with internal ip address
    Re your questions - The Server name can stay, but the hostname should be something like familyserver.murray.org under network settings. because technically, "murray.org." is a Fully Qualified Domain Name. not Host Name!  Its a convention to give a machine a name under the FQDN.
    Also - No Green Light as opposed to a grey light when you enter your site under websites may mean - its kind of working, but you may get funny results - Try setting up as below and see how that goes, it will likely save problems in the long run.
    Change the hostname in Server.app/Server/Network Settings to be a familyserver.domain.org style.
    Then under DNS on server.app, the Primary Zone should be "murray.org".
    Then add a Machine record to match the hostname - familyserver.murray.org
    Then add a nameserver record in the zone - familyserver.murray.org
    Then add an MX record in the zone for familyserver.murray.org
    Then add an alias record in the zone for www
    Then delete / re-add your website and you should get a green light.
    cheers
    Gerry

    in this case i have even tried "SAP Note 1483929 - TREXWebServer can not be restarted from TREXAdminTool" & "http://forums.sdn.sap.com/thread.jspathreadID=1635893"

  • Trex Index could not be created HTTP server error: 503 (Errorcode 7266)

    Hi Friends,
    I have installed EP6.0 SP15 on one machine and Trex 6.1 on another machine.All the services are green in the Trex monitor.And also i am able to get a reply from http://host:30205/TrexHttpServer/TREXISAPIExt.dll?CMD=PING.Connection sucessful.While creating my first index in Index Administration i get this error message.
    "Index could not be created; creating index failed: HTTP server error: 503 (Errorcode 7266)."
    Please tell me as to what steps i am missing and also where can i see the log message in portal.
    Thanks
    Sidharath

    hi friends,
    I went through the settings of trex services on server and found out that even after installing IIS 6.0 it was showing the path of Apache that that is i think the reason that httpserver is green but it is not using the CPU resources.I will share the setting with you.
    [queueserver]
    executable=TREXQueueServer.exe
    arguments=-port 30204
    startdir=C:\usr\sap\trex_02
    starttime=5000
    instances=1
    #hp_32:environment=_M_ARENA_OPTS=1:256,_M_SBA_OPTS=512:100:16
    As the executable for queserver is there so it is using cpu resources.
    [apache]
    executable=httpd
    arguments=-d C:\usr\sap\trex_02/Apache -R C:\usr\sap\trex_02/Apache/libexec -F
    startdir=C:\usr\sap\trex_02/Apache/bin
    instances=1
    As there is no folder for apache in trex installation so i think it is not working.Please check the setting in Trex Administration->Configration->Choose name server and on the right botton of it is edit services.Double click it and you will see the settings as i have shown above.Please share the settings with me as i will be then able to work with trex.
    Do i have to install Apache instead of IIS6.0.Please guide me.
    Thanks
