TREX - Embedded Search - Error While Preparing
Hi,
I'm trying to activate the "Help Center: Link to File in Network Folder" in the connector administration cockpit (transaction ESH_COCKPIT).
The issue that I'm having is that when is trying to prepare the indexing it terminates with "Error While Preparing".
Job log:
14.06.2014 11:49:03 Job started
14.06.2014 11:49:03 Step 001 started (program ESH_SE_CONNECTOR_MOD_BGD, variant &0000000000009, user ID TREX_RFC)
14.06.2014 11:49:04 RFC destination has errors
14.06.2014 11:49:04 Job cancelled after system exception ERROR_MESSAGE
Screenshot:
I tested the RFC and is working fine.
I tried to find aditional information in the logs but I don't see anything more.
I have the TREX 7.1 Revision 58.
Please, I need to resolve this asap.
Any help is appreciated!!
Carlos
Hi Siriram,
Thanks for your reply!
1) Yes, is on and everything is in green.
2) The connection of the TRExadmin is working and it looks fine:
I fixed the error last night selecting the option below: "Reset user Settings for Running Application":
But now when I select the object connector "Help Center: Link to File in Network Folder" to schedule a indexing, the following error is presented:
14.06.2014 23:13:04 Job started
14.06.2014 23:13:04 Step 001 started (program ESH_IX_CRT_INDEX_OBJECT_TYPE, variant 7FB75954635D4D, user ID CJM)

Where I have to put the path of my network folder?

Thanks for help,
JürgenHi Jürgen,
this is not much information. Which EHP you are using? EHP7 ?
please delete all Connectors and try to use backend report ESH_ADM_INDEX_ALL_SC..mark all checkboxes and select software component: EA-HRRXX
If this does not help you can get more information if you start fopr each connector the report with the correspnding variant as mentioned in the log. E.g.:
ESH_SE_CONNECTOR_MOD_BGD variant &0000000000009 ( pleease use alwys the last variant in the log.) This will gif you futher information.

Outlook 2010/Error sharing Calendar: Error while preparing to send sharing message
Everyone that is connected to this exchange is receiving an error when they attempt to share a calendar in outlook 2010. We are using Exchange 2010 and Outlook 2010. The error reads: Error while preparing to send sharing message.
Any ideas on a reason why this would be happening?I think it may be caused by the following reasons.
1. Auto Discover service or outlook 2010 issue
To verify it ,you could try sharing calendar via OWA?
For how to manage Auto discover Service
http://technet.microsoft.com/en-au/library/aa995956.aspx
2.Mailbox corruption issue
For how to repair database
http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/exchangesvrclients/thread/0ef36823-261f-40eb-a2e7-6dd0398d8d10/
3. Restrictive sharing permission assigned on the calendar.
Could you please verify if it is caused by your sharing policies? If the User chooses to change the permission
to the following: "Anyone can view and search for this Calendar on Office online.” You should be able to send
them without issues. -
Getting error while preparing to send sharing message
I have seen many people post up about this same error, however I am going to share some details in the troubleshooting I have performed.
Environment: Exchange 2013. Cloud hosted. Internet connectivity using any number of clients. Mostly OWA, but a few Outlook 2010 and Outlook 2013.
1. User A with Outlook 2010 or Outlook 2013 right clicks on the calendar and clicks "Share" -> "Share Calendar". They look up User B in the Global Address List and click "Send." An error window pop-up states "Error while
preparing to send sharing message." User A is able to click on Calendar Permissions and add User B to the correct permissions. User A with OWA is able to right click on the calendar and click "Share Calendar" and it will send the message, no
errors.
2. User B with Outlook 2010 or Outlook 2013 on the same computer that User A was trying to do this from right clicks on the calendar and clicks "Share" -> "Share Calendar". They look up User A in the Global Address List and click "Send".
No errors and the message goes through fine. It works correctly with OWA as well.
I have seen people put up "autodiscover" and "permissions" or other things. This is obviously not a permission issue because the same thing that can be accomplished in OWA can't be accomplished in Outlook. It isn't an autodiscover issue
because the same thing that one person can accomplish on a computer/Outlook, another cannot. This is the same error that I have seen since the time of Outlook 2007 and have yet to see a valid solution.
Thanks,
DonHi Don,
Hope it is the solution:
You can't share your calendar in Outlook 2007

Sharepoint 2013 vs Exchange 2010 SP3 search (Error while crawling LOB contents)
Hi there:
We are trying to solve the problem: ERROR CRAWLING LOB CONTENTS when we wish to search Exchange 2010 SP3 public folder content on Sharepoint 2013 Foundation.
Quick briefing:
Followed this instructions:
http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/jj591608(v=office.15).aspx
* Created CRAWL RULE
- Used Domain Admin for content access ---> IS THIS WRONG?
- Domain Admin can access public folder thru Outlook Web Access (checked)
- Included all items in this path
PRINTSCREEN 1
* Added a content source for Exchange Server public folders
- Logged to Outlook Web Access with domain admin, expanded Public folders and opened 1st subfolder in new window and copied the address
- Logged to Outlook Web Access with domain admin, expanded Public folders and opened 2nd subfolder in new window and copied the address
PRINTSCREEN2
* Did a FULL CRAWL
PROBLEM:
- Search results does not throw "correct data". Some items are not being found
CRAWL LOG is reporting: Error while crawling LOB contents
Detailed error message:
https://mail.domain.com/OWA/?ae=Folder&id=PSF.LgAAAAAaRHOQqmYRzZvIAKoAL8RaAwAnt2ed15IATLg8XoXLNj4EAAAAXsN8AAAB&t=IPF.Note
Error while crawling LOB contents.
Error caused by exception: Microsoft.BusinessData.Infrastructure.BdcException
The shim execution failed unexpectedly - Exception has been thrown by the target of an invocation..:
System.InvalidOperationException An internal server error occurred.
Try again later.; SearchID = 4E8542D3-48EF-404E-8025-8D9AAEFE777A )
We thought it's a throttling issue / found possible solution:
http://powersearching.wordpress.com/2013/07/23/exchange-public-folders-search-fail-error-while-crawling-lob-contents/
Tried it, still same Error messages, problem not resolved.
Any hints? Please advise.
With best regards
bostjancHi Bostjan,
From the error message, the issue might be caused by throttling policy on Exchange side. And the article you posted provides the right solution, some modification to the solution and please try again.
For throttling policy part
1.Execute the command for Set-ThrottlingPolicy
Set-ThrottlingPolicy SharePoint -RCAMaxConcurrency Unlimited -EWSMaxConcurrency Unlimited -EWSMaxSubscriptions Unlimited -CPAMaxConcurrency Unlimited -EwsCutoffBalance Unlimited -EwsMaxBurst Unlimited -EwsRechargeRate Unlimited
2.Execute the command Get-ThrottlingPolicy SharePoint to double confirm the policy setting has been successfully executed
For registry key part
1. Start Registry Editor (regedit).
2. Navigate to the following registry subkey:
\\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\MSExchangeIS\ParametersSystem
3. Right-click ParametersSystem, point to New, and then click Key.
A new key is created in the console tree.
4. Rename the key MaxObjsPerMapiSession, and then press Enter.
5. Right-click MaxObjsPerMapiSession, point to New, and then click DWORD (32-bit) Value.
The new value is created in the result pane.
6. Rename the key to <Object_type>, where <Object_type> is the name of the registry object type that you're modifying. For example, to modify the number of messages that can be opened, use objtMessage. Press Enter.
7. Right-click the newly created key, and then click Modify.
8. In the Value data box, type the number of objects that you want to limit this entry to, and then click OK. For example, type 350 to increase the value for the object.
9. Restart the Microsoft Exchange Information Store service.
If it still doesn’t help, please check ULS log for related error message.

CONTAINS search error while using Numeric
HI,
Please help to me,
CONTAINS search is not performing while numeric character
In an members table
ID EmailId
1 [email protected]
2 [email protected]
3 [email protected]
SQL 1> SELECT * FROM MEMBERS WHERE CONTAINS(MEMR_EMAIL, 'Loadtest{_}{%}', 1) > 0
To listing the All records
Result is
ID EmailId
1 [email protected]
2 [email protected]
3 [email protected]
SQL 2> SELECT * FROM MEMBERS WHERE CONTAINS(MEMR_EMAIL, 'Loadtest{_}2{%}', 1) > 0
Result is (Only One record is Listing, Not list Remaining Records)
ID EmailId
1 [email protected]
SQL 3> SELECT * FROM MEMBERS WHERE CONTAINS(MEMR_EMAIL, 'Loadtest{_}21{%}', 1) > 0
Result is (Only One record is Listing, Not list Remaining Records)
ID EmailId
2 [email protected]
Please help to me, Why not list the remaining records in SQL 2 & SQL 3
ThanksI'm not perfectly sure but you can try the following variations. unfortunatly I can't test it at the moment.
SELECT * FROM MEMBERS WHERE CONTAINS(MEMR_EMAIL, '{Loadtest_2}%', 1) > 0or better
SELECT * FROM MEMBERS WHERE CONTAINS(MEMR_EMAIL, 'Loadtest\_2%', 1) > 0The problem might be that everything insider {} is considered a separate token. Therefore the full word might not be found anymore.

Your advise will be really helpful. Thanks in advance for your help.

AdityaTREX also uses gateway programs.
Check with your basis folks or tcode SMGW (go to --> expert functions --> external security) to see whether it is restricted.
There are also some SAP notes about this...

TREX documentation - Embedded Search
Hi everyone,
We are implemeting TREX on SAP CRM 7.
I am looking for some customizing documents on SAP sites but cannot really understand what the difference between TREX, Embedded Search and Enterprise Search. Are those different functionnalities? Are they dependant of TREX implementation?
Any tips about TREX/CRM will be appreciated,
Regards,
AnaïsHi Anais,
SAP Enterprise Search provides unified, comprehensive, and secure real-time access to enterprise data and information from within and outside of a company.
the Enterprise Search enables a centralized search access to all sources, i.e. users can enter their search requests and receive the search results through a single browser-based user interface (Search UI).
In TREX search, each source has a separate user interface.
To configure TREX in SAP CRM or Solman please find below link.
Full-Text Search with TREX - SAP IT Service Management on SAP Solution Manager - SCN Wiki
If any concern in configuring Software Agent Framework (SAF), please let me know.

Selecting Atmosphere track causes "Error while trying to synch Audio & MIDI
I have the strangest problem; I have a track worked up with a few channels of Atmosphere, no problems for the first day I worked on it (no problems like this ever, as a matter of fact). Somehow, though, now when an Atmosphere track is selected, hitting "play" produces all sorts of crunching and crackling, followed by "Error while trying to synchronize Audio & MIDI; Sample rate 41576 (or whatever) recognized, please check external device". If I select a different track on the left side of the arrange page, there's no problem. The problem doesn't exist with other plugs (Absynth, EXS24, etc.) The problem is exactly the same if I just use the mac's internal audio (I usually use 3 MOTU 2408s) and turn the MOTU interfaces off, so I doubt it's related to the MOTU's 424 card or interfaces, or anything that's plugged into them. Searching "Error while trying to synchronize" produces hundreds of hits; has anyone ever heard of this? And what's the solution?
I played around unplugging firewires and external drives and it seems to of cleared the glitch. It seems to be an issue with firewire but now I know the sequence which to turn everything on so far it's all good.
