TREX Error when serching in EP 7-

i am geting following error when serching docs in portal using TREX..
Search Failure
Error during search occurred - com.sapportals.wcm.WcmException: HTTP server error: 503 (Errorcode 7266)
An unexpected severe error occurred during the search call. If the situation persists, inform your system administrator.
Indexing document failed. Communication error. HTTP server error: 503 (Errorcode 7266)

Hi Buddhike,
make sure, that the Portal and TREX can communicate with each other, if they are installed on different servers.
If a Firewall is between them, check that the Firewall does not block any required ports.

You may need to check the authorization error if any in SU53.
As soon as you get this error, try to check SU53 in CRM GUI.

Have you regenerated your Repository after making changes?
If not, go to SA38 and run program CRM_ERMS_REGEN_RULES for ERMS context for your Policy (check box checkboxes).
Now re-run your scenario. Hopefully this has helped.

Runtime error when searching ituens store

How do I fix a runtime error when I serch in itunes?

Apologies for the spelling errors in my post above. Careless of me to have posted in a hurry. Did not realise it is not possible to edit posts after a certain time (well for newbees) - which in my case was taken up by a "Please wait while we update the site" message from the forum. Well alteast I have managed to include a screenshot of the error below.

I have created an Index for a specific folder in KM.
Under KM--> Sys Conf --> KM --> Index Administration it shows the green led, which I believe that the data sources are completely indexed. But, under the KM--> Monitoring > KM> Indexing Monitor , it says:
Status = red led (There are too many TREX errors)
Status = Active
In Process = 142678
Indexed = 51345
Errors = 10849
And, when I opened the list of errors there are many Crawler and Trex: Preparation failed: index operation
Can you suggest, what's the mistake that I am doing or do I have to any additional configurations for the index that I have created??

Hi Raghava,
as I said, "Preparation Failed" may be (if I recall correctly) as early as the HTTP request to even get the document for indexing. If this is not possible for TREX, then of course the indexing fails.
What I suggested was a manual reproduction. So log on to the TREX host (preferrably with the user that TREX uses to access the documents) and then simply try to open one of the docs with the "failed" status by pasting its address in the browser. If this does not work, you have a pretty good idea what's happening.
Unfortunately, if that were the case, this would the be some issue in network communications or ticketing and authorizatuions, which I can not tell you from here how to solve.
In any case, I would advise to open a support message to SAP - probably rather under the portal component than under TREX, as I do not assume that this stage of a queue error has anything to do with the actual engine.

Hello Raghava,
It's impossible to say from the provided information what is causing some of your documents to fail, you need to check in the TREX monitor for errorcodes etc.

Error when Publishing a CCM Catalogue

Hello,
When publishing a new CCM Catalogue we tend to get the following message in production but not in our UAT system:
"Error when deleting TREX metadata for Catalog". It often takes 3 goes at publishing before it is successful.
Has anyone encountered this or know why it's happening?

Hi Jackie,
It generally refers to an issue with the TREX engine directly, perhaps the trex engine is under-resourced or used by too many applications via the same port.
Check the transaction TREXADMIN for any evident errors in there which may explain the problem.

TREX Error 2029

Hi,
I am implmenting E-Rec 6.0 and I am having problems setting up TREX 7.0 and searching the index. In transaction SKPR07 I have selected document class HR_DOC and document area HR_KW then click on TEST SEARCH. Using a search criteria of * I either get an error message 2982 (which I know what it is) or 2029, but I cannot find out what this error message means. Can anyone provide any help on this?

How to Fix TREX Errors

I am using EP 7.0 SP15. I have created an index to Search the WPC Content. The properties for the index are as follows:
ID: wpcIndex_DEV
Name: wpcIndex
Group: none set
Crawler Parameters: standard
Active: checked
Service:Trex Search
Service Type: Search
Items to Index: All
fuzziness: 0.7
Data Sources: root>Web Content
When I look at the Index Monitoring I see:
Status: red (There are too many TREX Errors)
Index: wpcIndex_DEV
Status: Idle
InProcess:0
Indexed: 492
Errors: 109
All 109 Errors state the same Error Type: "Trex: Preparation failed: index operation"
I have found alot of documentation on how to set up TREX Indexes or how to check them but nothing on how to fix the errors. Can someone please point me in the right direction for getting this index to process correctly?

What version of WPC are you running?
In the older versions of WPC the internal links are hardcoded (thus not using the correct URL from the URL generator service). Try to republish the WPC pages and see if that doesn't solve the problem.
You also did not set up the index according to the documentation:

EREC: TREX Errors

TREX Stopped indexing, it was working fine until yesterday. I went into SLG1 and see few errors like below. I also see error that states, Candidate object NA 5...... doesn't exist. While its true, i cant find any candidate in HRP1001, how si it picking them up for indexing?

Hello Dhana,
Inconsistencies in a system are not a programming error. I would check my system for NA objects existing in table HRP1000 but have no relationships in HRP1001. There you should get a list of all effected candidates.

EREC: Trex Errors in first run

We have EREC and HCM in two separate systems, i followed SAP note suggestions and created ALE connection to import the data. After i imported the data i ran HRLAXSYNC report in EREC system, which created NA objects.
Great, i was happy so far. Now i ran the TREX for the first time in production and see atleast few hundred if not more of similar errors as below, what did i do wrong? how can i fix this?

The note has a prerequisite that erec is in integrated environment, but as mentioned above our EREC is not in integrated environment we are in I2-A scenario.

Error when starting Adobe Form

I have an Adobe Form which works Ok in the development SAP Portal, but that, when I log in the production portal gives the following error:
Error when reinitializing the form (I guess, it's Error al reinicializar el formulario, in Spanish)
I think maybe there is something missing to transport, or some misconfiguration, but I haven't been able so far to find it...

Can you tell me when does the error message comes? Does it comes when you are trying to open the Form or when you are trying to execute it.

Report Generation Toolkit error when running exe not vi

Unknown System Error in Get Report Settings.vi->Get Current Font.vi->Excel Easy Table (str).vi->insert table and save file.vi->80x test suite.vi
1. The above is an error I get from my exe
2. I do not get this error when just running the vi.
3. On several report gen functions cohersion dots are on my refnum input. Is this the cause of my problem with the exe?
I guess there is an another learning curve when dealing with the app builder.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Error when fetching into a variable of ROWTYPE

I came across with a vied error when creating the body of a method.
Problem:
I have a Type called Emp_typ and a corresponding table Emp_tab.
When I create the body of get method it gives the following error msg :
