TREX NameServer exits with code 128 on system start

Installed a new TREX server on Windows 2003 x64 server, using standard settings for a stand-alone TREX server. Installed as Local (not domain) and install completed successfully. After the install (or after any reboot), all the regular TREX services start up correctly except for TREXNameServer.exe.
Looking at the trace file for TREX Daemon, here is an excerpt:

If I log into the server as <sid>adm, run TREXConsole and then start TREXNameServer, it starts up fine and works without a problem. However, that doesn't start the Name Server as a service, preventing the unattended operation that one would hope for.
Has anyone encountered this before? I've searched all over, but have not located anything that is not allowing the Name Server to start. I would appreciate any suggestions to help track down this problem. Thanks.

Windows 2003 Server x64 SP2 with vcredist64, JRE installed

Hi Jones,
It turns out my issue was related to security on the Windows drive in question. I installed the TREX main directory on the E drive of the server and simply added the "Users" group to that drive to fix my problem. I'm pretty sure that the service user SAPService<SID> was having access permission issues until I added the group to the security settings of the drive.

Orphaned Agent Error - Unexpected Agent Exit. Code = 128

Hello,
I am currently running tests using the Load Testing Tool bundled with Oracle Application Testing Suit, to run performance tests for a web services application. Everything was running smoothly until I tried to run a total of 2000 users (200 users across 10 agent machines), which started to cause the tool to return "Orphaned Agent" errors ("Unexpected Agent exit. Code = 128" or "Unexpected Agent exit. Code = 1"). The Orphaned Agent errors aren't occuring right away, after user ramp up, it can be another 5 minutes or so before they are actually occuring. CPU and memory usage on the agent machines is not being maxed out (approx 30% usage).
I am using build 8.50.0260 of OATS.
I have checked the EmpStart.log file, and I am getting the following exception:

Thank-you for your prompt response. I reduced the number of agents I was using to 5, with 400 users on each (2000 users total). I then changed the Tools > Options > Scenario Defaults to use Java Mode and updated the maximum heap size to both 512 and 1024, however the error still occurs.

So it looks as though the memory is OK, however, for some reason half-way through the test the agent ID becomes unknown. This error is the same across all the agents.

Experiencing the problems while encoding the barcode with Code 128 font

Hope you are doing good.
We are experiencing the problems while encoding the barcode with Code 128 font.we have followed the Oracle BI Publisher Blog i.e Barcoding 102 http://blogs.oracle.com/xmlpublisher/discuss/msgReader$281.
Before applying the encoding Java class we were able to display the barcode but after applying this encoding Java class we are not able to display the barcode.
We are requesting you to help us for encoding the barcode with Code 128 font and read barcode by scanner.
We will appreciate and thankful if anybody help us in this regard

I am trying to create 128 Barcode, output shows little junk characters. I followed the your "Barcoding 102 instrucitons but no luck. I apprciate your help if you provide some help on this.

1. Created Java class under $JAVA_TOP/oracle/apps/oracle/xdo/template/util/barcoder
2. Registeted and applied the format the barcode to the form field. I will sedn my XML, RTF and Java class, Would you pleae advice me on this

Code Review of User Exits with Code Inspector

Hi,
We are using Code Inspector(Tcode - SCI) for checking the quality of ABAP Codes. It is working fine for all custom programs. But when we are checking the code of User Exits i: e MV50AFZ1 or ZXM06U22 then it checks the std SAP program (SAPMV50A) or (SAPLXM06) for these exits in place of checking that particular Exit only . How the customer/User Exits can be checked using Code Inspector. Pls advice.

Today, I stumbled over the same problem: Defining an Include for user exits leads to a check of the surrounding function group from SAP which I don't want to correct at all.
Is there a nice an elegant way of filtering out the SAP modules from checking? If not, the only way to get around this seems to be building an own implementation of the Code Inspector integration into CTS.

I get the following error when trying to setup crystal reports:
Component SAP Crystal Reports Runtime Engine for .NET Framework 4.0 has failed to install with the following error message:
"Fatal error during installation. "

The above mentioned log:
Right-click [this link|www.bodmas.co.uk/images/install.log] and choose "Save Link As..." to save the document to your computer

I installed jdeveloper with java 1.6.0_51 on mac osx. when i try to open jdeveloper i got the following message. How can i resolve this?

I have no idea. This typically is an issue to address with customer support. Which version of Mac OS are you on? I got JDeveloper working just fine in 10.8.3.

Exchange 2010 Schema prepare failing - ldife with code 110

Hi, I'm trying to prepare our Server 2008 r2 to migrate from exchange 2003 to 2010.
When trying to do a PrepareSchemaif fails running ldifde.exe and it exits with code 110.
Only 1 forest
Exchange 2003 is in native mode.
Attempted this on my DC server 2008 with account that is part of the admins group.
I have checked and no firewalls are turned on, and I have all virus protections turned off.
DCDIAG tests all pass.
I have ran a Pre-deployment Analyzer and the only issue is that Active Directory Schema needs to be upgraded (which I'm attempting to do obviously).

try running the command from an elevated prompt with an account that is part of the schema admins group.
if you run the same command from the exchange server what happens?
what is your schema currently on? you need to be on a minimum of windows 2003, 2008 will be better and ensure that your roles are on the highest DC.

I downloaded Jdeveloper from Oracle website. I tried to create simple helloworld jsp & tried to run from jdeveloper.
I set project properties->compiler->use Javac also, but still it gives same error message in "Running Embedded OC4j server Log"

what is the operation system you are running JDeveloper on ?
To further debug the problem, can you open a command line at <Jdeveloper Directory>\j2ee\home
(assuming Windows) type
..\..\jdk\bin\java oc4j.jar
provide an administration password when asked. This command starts the embedded OC4J as a stand-alone server and prints messages to the console window
Let us know if this gives more detailed error messages or if it starts up

I've just downloaded Oracle JDeveloper (10.1.3) - Production JAN 2006 version (Studio Edition), installied and configure as the install guide, downladed SU5 (Studio Edition version 10.1.3.0.4 Build JDEVADF_10.1.3_NT_060125.0900.3673) and JUnit extensions and SR. When I tried to run Oracle ADF SRDEMO Application, I´ve just got this error message:

I'm using a Microsoft Windows Server 2003 Standard Edition Service Pack 1 inside a VMware workstation (version 5.5.2.build-29772) with 1.4GB of RAM with an Oracle 10gR2 for windows (10.2.0.1.0)
I don´t know if it is a configuration problem or that Windows Server 2003 SP1 is not supported or any other problem.
Any help you can give on this would be much appreciated.

HELP!! Process exited with exit code 128.

I am using JDeveloper 10G to develop a struts project. I use the struts-tiles.tld to construct the layout.

However, when I run the project, then the OC4J Server terminated with this error code : Process exited with exit code 128.
What happen??
PS: I tried to remove the last 2 tags: body and footer. The Server did not terminate, but with some exceptions which related to tiles library.

This type of error may occur because of developers mistake.
This error occurs when any function is called recursively in a loop.
The server calls the same function again and again in a loop and hence the server goes in infinite loop. This gives the error "Process exited with exit code 128".
You need to check your code thoroughly for such mistake.

I have a problem. I downloaded the new Jdeveloper 10.3.1. When a try to
run a class i always receive the error: "process exited with exit code
128". The compilation is correct. My OS is Win2003 server SP1, I
tried in a pc with the same OS and it doesn't work correctly.

I have the same "process exited with exit code 128" in my Win 2003 server environment running AMD 64 processor. My Win 2000 server setting runs okay.
I can work that around by changing the Virtual Machine setting. Select anything other then 'ojvm' with run ok. I guess, the Oracle custom add-on is not working properly.
Follow this path to change.
goto Project properties->Run/Debug
->select your run configuration (Default if you have no others)
-> change 'Virtual Machine:' to server, client, or hotspot.
ojvm is the only virtual machine that doesn't work.
There is one catch, however, by making this change code coach, and all other profiling tools will not run.

I am creating the cuecard example of ADF ("create a sample dtaabound application") in Jdev 10.1.3 .
In "Bind an ADF Faces Table Component to the Service Bean" step i am getting error.
After draging table on to form(JSP page) it is not visible in the form.but in Structure window it is showing table.
after runnung the jsp page,i am getting error in embeded OC4J server log as Process exited with exit code 128.
why i am not getting table on the form ??????

Now i am getting the table in the form after restarting the jdev10.1.3
But in OC4J Server log i am getting "Process exited with exit code 128" while running the jsp page.why?????????
