Trial Balance with the combination of F.08 & F.54

Hi All
i have a requirement from my client
they are asking the trial balnce report in such a way that it should contians Financial statement version heads and trial balance
i have checked this combination in F.08 & F.54
In F.08 the values are showing for individual account wise for both debit & Credit seperately
But Whereas in F.54 the account heads are displaying according to Financial statement version but it is showing only the totals of final credit & Debit and not displaying sepraltely
i have tried it to find out the table names & Fields and could not able to find it
can any body provide some inputs

Once you have defined new business area and mapped it . The financial for documents that are posted with this business area can be displayed via financial statements but for the older entries that were posted with old business area you cant do anything We faced the same issue when we changed the credit control area KKBER for customers. For old documents we had to bear the old KKBER on advise of SAP AG. If the document contains a vendor or a customer item and you are looking for a Business area change then the only feasible solution is to reverse it and re post it. Reason is simply things defined at organization structure level cant be changed once they are posted.

Downloading a trial - problem with the Adobe Download Assistant

Q: What is the Adobe Download Assistant?
A: Trial versions of Adobe Creative Suite, Photoshop Elements, and Adobe Premiere Elements are downloaded using the Adobe Download Assistant — a small application that is meant to improve download reliability and avoid issues that commonly occur during large downloads, such as frequent disconnects. After the trial product is downloaded, Adobe Download Assistant should automatically start installing the product.
Q: I installed the Adobe Download Assistant, but my trial didn't download?
A: Under certain conditions, the Adobe Download Assistant installs but does not immediately start downloading the trial product. If this happens:
1. Quit the Adobe Download Assistant.
2. In your browser, return to the product trial download page on Adobe.com. Refresh the page, then click the Download now button again and follow the prompts.
Important: When you start the download, be sure to select your User folder or Desktop folder. A common cause of errors are due to attempts to download the Adobe Download Assistant to the Program Files/Applications folder. The Adobe Download Assistant only downloads the trial application files. Once the download is complete it will launch the application installer; when the installer is launched you can then choose to install the actual trial application into the Program Files/Application folder.

I have suddenly become computer illiterate... that's the only conclusion I can draw from my total failure to install the Premiere Pro CS6 trial version for Mac.
Step1: I downloaded the Adobe Downloader Assistant installer and installed ADA in the default location (/Applications), which then was followed by said ADA launch. I logged in, selected PP and started a 2 hrs download of a 1.7 GB file.
Step2: I come back after a while and find a nice DVD icon on my Desktop, reading PP CS6: Great! I quit ADA and open that folder, to find another folder in it, with 3 subfolders and an "Install" application. Click on it. Nada. Reclick on it. Same + an error -1704 "can't open application".
Step3-30: I am cutting a long story short, but after reading all the support threads I could find, trying to reinstall ADA on my desktop, relog on the website, restart and cancel PP CS6 download a few times (without ADA noticing that there was already a 1.7 GB corresponding to that same file), and repeatedly failed to launch the install.app, I decided to act stupidely and remove all files and go to:
Step 31: reinstall ADA, re-download PP CS6.
Step 32: I waited after the install, nothing happened so I went to the new PP CS6 "DVD" and found the "install" app, which reliably did not start anything.
Step 33: I rebooted. After the reboot, the DVD was gone, replaced by an empty folder of the same name...
Step 34: me typing all this... I am using a 2011 iMac running Lion and Creative Suite CS 5.5. Thanks for any pointers...

For the Primary Key Field with the combination of other fields

the problem goes like this..
i have a table with the fields
fld1 (varchar2(6) fld2(varchar2(20)) fld3 (number)
the fld1 is a primary key.
here in this table i am inserting the values ..
At the time of inserting the fld1 should get the part value of fld2
say if new value for fld2 is "SAM & CO" then
it should take the first letter and then followed by the sequence..
i.e., the fld1 is the combination of a
letter + firt letter of the fld2 + sequence

Here the Sequence should vary depending on the alphabet of the fld1
if P the the Sequence should be the next number of fld1 to P
i.e.,
if i add the value like this

then it should be inserted as
CP002 PQQQQ 34343

There are not enough details to be sure since you have not provided the mappings. From just the error, it looks like you are using the tableC.tableA_ID field as the foreign key in the ManyToOne relationship to A, but have marked it as insertable=false, writeable=false, meaning that it cannot be updated or used for inserts.
Either make it writable (set the settings to true), or add another basic mapping/attribute in the entity for TableC that maps to the field which you can use to set when you insert a new tableC entity. A simple example is available at

Use Transaction Code F.08 for Trial Balance or "G/L Account Balances"
The G/L account balance list shows the following monthly figures:
o   balance carried forward at the beginning of the fiscal year
o   total of the period or periods carried forward
o   debit total of the reporting period
o   credit total of the reporting period
o   debit balances or credit balances at the close of the reporting period

I would like to know the way to do an aggregation (Sum) with the utility “combine with a similar request”.
Example with a little demonstration:
I combine the same query, but I get the repeat record for the same record value (PER MONTH).
2011 01 || 35 000

2011 02 || 50 000
2011 03 || 75 000
2011 03 || 75 000
I wish to obtain the sum of PER MONTH like

Ok it's correct. But i added a result column to affect % variation of the result. And i got a problem.
Example: (Column 4 = Column 2 / Column 3)
2011 01 || 20 000 || 40 000 || 50 %
2011 01 || 20 000 || 20 000 || 100%
The result is 150%, it's wrong... 40 000/60 000

Can I manually install a trial downloaded with the Assistant?

I am trying to install Photoshop Extended CS6 under Ubuntu/Wine (as I have done previously, successfully with PS7 and PS CS2 at our institute). Unfortunately it is only available via Download Assistant, which runs under Ubuntu/Wine, downloads stuff, but then get's utterly stuck "extracting".
Can I manually install the trial?

Does the Dreamweaver 30-day trial work with the tutorials?

I've been trying to learn the essentials but it doesn't seem to match the tutorials...there is no title bar, the download file names/folders don't match, etc...am I missing something?

OK - first, the files in the zip that you download are not exactly like the ones shown in the tutorial. For starters, there is no "_notes" folder in the download - you can ignore that. Also, there is no README.txt file in the folder shown in the tutorial. Again, you can ignore that.
Next, the name of the SITE is Getting Started - that name is for your benefit only, it has nothing to do with the root folder. But there is a discrepancy between the name of the folder in the unzipped file and the name used in the tutorial. That, too, is an insignificant difference - the name of the root folder doesn't matter as long as you can find it when you browse to specify the root folder in the site setup. once you have found it, by clicking it in the browse function that path will be copied into the root folder field, so it doesn't matter what that folder's name is - you have just shown DW how to find it. The folders that are contained in that root folder, however, are the same as what Powers describes, so once you have properly defined the root folder, the rest of the tutorial should produce the correct code.
The missing title field is a bit puzzling, though. Can you take a screen snap of the region where this should be and post it here (use the camera icon to include the image from your computer)? Just to be sure, though, also choose HELP > About Dreamweaver, and give us a snap of that screen too, please.

I hate to tell you this... they hacked your phone. ONLY the carrier it's locked to can authorize unlocking it. It can't be legitimately unlocked at a 'shop'.
First, try restoring it in DFU mode and see if it will at least activate with the original carrier it was locked to. If it will, contact that carrier and find out what their unlocking policy is and what you need to do to qualify.
If it does not work after a DFU mode restore, recycle it responsibly and buy a phone that works. it's hosed.

PLD for Trial Balance with no Title account balance required

Dear All,
I have made a pld for Trail Balance and when the print out is done it is seen that Titles accounts which have zero balances are also coming. I want to hide all Title accounts which have null value. How this can be achived through PLD in SBO 2005B.
As far as clicking in the Hide Title accounts in Trail Balance screen is concerend is also not fullfilling the requirement as I want that title account in which gl accounts have balance should come. for example means a Title account has 5 GL accounts and all GL has some balance now in the PLD the total should come through the Title account and below its individual Gl balances should come.
Please guide if you have any solution or any formula field can be applied in which i can hide title account which is not linked to any active GL account and has no balance.

You can try to add a few formula fields:
Where:
F_XX1: is the account balance
F_XX2: is the flag whether its a title or active account
F_XX3: F_XX1!= 0 --> should retrieve value 1 if the balance is not 0
F_XX4: F_XX4!= title (not sure how its stored in the system) --> should retrieve value 1 if it's not a title account
F_XX5: F_XX3*F_XX4==1 --> should retrieve value 1 only if neither the previous statements are true so if it's not a title account and the balance is not 0
Then you can link the GL account field to this last formula through the Link To option of the field, which would make them visible only if their value is not 0 and they are not title accounts. You can make all these formulas invisible just display the GL account field.

Problems with the combination Mountain Lion, Parallels 8 and VPN

Have performed an straightforward upgrade of the OS X to Mountain Lion and Parallels I have have a problem keeping the vpn connection for more than an hour.
In order to get a the connection reetablished I need to restart the windows session in Parallels.
Is there any one else facing the same problem?

GL accounts with no postings are appearing in Trial Balance

Hi Experts,
When the Trial balance is run by selecting the below parameters in 'Trial Balance Report Selection Criteria':
1. 'Hide Accounts with No postings'
2. 'OB from Start of Company Activity'
The G\L Accounts having no postings in the posting date selected and having transactions entered before this period are displayed in the Report.
However, in the General Ledger Report with similar selection criteria, the same G\L Accounts are not displayed in the Report.
As stated in note 1632198, the system checks for the data from the beginning of the company activity and doesn't take into account the posting dates selected in the selection criteria. It is also stated that this behavior is the current system definition.
So, please I would like that SAP changes this behavior and I believe that it will make more sense that the system considers the specific year selected in the posting date.

Hi,
The system logic is different for the General Ledger and the Trial Balance. Both the reports have different reporting requirements, Trial Balance being the display of the balances and opening and closing while Trial balance being the detailed output of the transactions happening during the F.Y. selected.
For having the zero balanced accounts not appearing in the Trial Balance, check whether selecting 'OB from start of Fiscal Year' helps you any way.

Can we connect from Portal to MaxDB with the trial version of SAPNetWeaver?

Ive installed SAP NetWeaver Developer Workplace SR2 (trial version) with the following components:
     SAP Web Application Server Java 7.00 (J2EE Engine)
     MaxDB 7.6.00.34 database + Database Manager and SQL Studio
     SAP Enterprise Portal
     SAP Content Management and Collaboration
     Adobe Document Services
     BI SDK
     Visual Composer
     Composite Application Framework (CAF)
Now, I created new TEST database in MaxDB (user: DBADMIN, pass: abcd).
I want to connect from the Portal to the TEST Database, so I follow the steps described in the documents (How To Configured BI JDBC Connector, .)
- I log on Visual Administrator, create BI JDBC Connector, create new DataSource.
Now, I can get the Data from TEST Database.
- I log on Portal and create new BI JDBC System,
+ Driver: com.sap.dbtech.jdbc.DriverSapDB,
+ Connection URL: jdbc:sapdb://sapep/test
- Then, I create system alias, map user with the user in Test Database (User: DBADMIN. Pass: ABCD)
But when testing the connection, Ive an error:
<b>Connection failed. Make sure user mapping is set correctly and all connection properties are correct.</b>
When I test the connection by the link:
http://sapep:50000/TestJDBC_Web/TestJDBCPage.jsp
Ive an error:

I assume that you have create the driver with the required .jar files.
supose its name is MAX_DB
After that go to "Connector Container" in visual admin. To create a new connector,
select the connector SDK_JDBC and click the clone button to create a new BI JDBC connector and enter a name for the connector eg., SDK_MAXDB
Selct the recently created connector and choose the resource Adapter tab. click the add button to assiciate addtional resources the Connector
To add resource, enter the name as "library:MAX_DB".save the changes and restart the server.
Now in the portal there is a property "ConnectionFactory" set this to "SDK_MAXDB".
Now u have said that u have set the values for Driver and Url as
+ Driver: com.sap.dbtech.jdbc.DriverSapDB,
+ Connection URL: jdbc:sapdb://sapep/test
the value for driver is correct but the value for connection URL is wrong.
Connection URL: jdbc:sapdb://<Machine_name>:<Port>/<Databse_name>
Now i dont what is the port no for MaxDB. as for SQL its 1433, for oracle it is 1521, for netezza it is 5480. U can get it from ur system adm or from net.
As u have not mentioned the port thats u r facing the problem.

Okay to start with the trial...?

Are there any known problems with the demo version if Aperture 2.0.1 such that conversion or migration to the purchased version warrants consideration? That is, should I limit my use of the trial using a test library and just start fresh with the retail/purchased version?
Any benefit to starting fresh?
Also, does AP2 come with printed documentation?

The demo and the purchased version are the same. The difference is that the trial will expire.
You have to use a trial library with the demo. It will not update a 1.5 library because if you don't like v2, you will not be able to open the library with 1.5, and so you'll be "trapped" into v2. So, use a trial library and then when you're sure you want to buy, do so and then upgrade your full library.
