Trial Creative Cloud

I have the trial creative cloud and I can not get the apps to download when I drop and drag.  What am I doing wrong or how can I get the trail to work?

What specifically are you referring to? The apps are downloaded conventionally by simply clicking on them on teh web page, but generalyl for CCM you will need to install the application manager and it will handle things.

I am trying to INSTALL the free trials of AI and PS when I click on the link to install it goes to another page says installing but nothing is happening. I have the FREE TRIAL Creative Cloud Membership.
I am getting very frustrated with this. When I try to install the Creative Cloud thing it asks me to pay even though it says try for free.

    Hi Mirrormonolith,
Please try the following steps assuming its a MAC:
    1) Open Activity monitor and Force quit Adobe CEF Helper, Creative cloud, Adobe IPC Broker & Crash Deamon if available.
    2) Try to open, if doesn't work then go to Applications>> Adobe Creative cloud>> Right click>> Get Info>> Click on the Add sign>> Select the user you are logged in>> Give Read and write access.
    3) If that doesn't work then enable the root user and launch to update there, check this link on how to enable/sign in to root user Enabling and using the "root" user in Mac OS X
Please let me know of that worked.

I am trying to use the trial creative cloud software on a PC windows 8.1 - I've downloaded and removed Photoshop CC 2014 two times - every time I open the file it says there is a problem and it shuts down and closes. I can open indesign and maybe other apps but photoshop no. Any ideas?

I don't think I can access the crash report? Excuse the ignorant questions I'm about to make am a relative tech novice.
Soo - as mentioned every time I open photoshop it crashes - it just says there's an error and the program will shut down and if there's a solution windows will notify me. Then nothing...
I've tried to look in photoshop files for the detailed crash report & the system event viewer but cannot find a file with those names. I've also looked in the windows files for files with those names but cannot find them either - so I don't know where to look.
    Any guidance would be great.

  • Trial Creative Cloud Membership

    I'm trying Creative Cloud.
I downloaded the softwares from AAM.
All the applications correctly show me the countdown under the title "Trial Creative Cloud Membership", except Photoshop. It shows me the Trial Photoshop Extended countdown.
Before upgrading I want to be sure to solve this problem, so that also PS will be under the subscription.
    Any idea?
I've just tried to unistall and reinstall PS after the cscleaner tool but without success.
    Many thanks for your help.

    Hi Simpli73,
Did you ever try a trial of Photoshop by itself prior to the trial of Creative Cloud?
This is odd but it shouldn't if you decided to join Creative Cloud. You can convert CS6 trials to be included as part of the membership by signing in with your Adobe ID.

Does reinstalling the Adobe Application Manager from here http://www.adobe.com/applicationmanagerpatch/index.html resolve the problem?

  • Trial Creative Cloud ending.  Install DVD Acrobat

I am nering the end of my Trial Version of Adobe Creative Cloud.  I wish to install a DVD Commercial Volume License Product Adobe Acrobat XI Pro.  Should I uninstall any programs from the Trial Version first?

Yes HillaryHazel2 you will want to remove your existing installation and then reinstall from your installation media using the serial number you obtained with your purchase.

  • Will trialing Creative Cloud apps overwrite my existing apps?

I have some Adobe apps (Acrobat, PhotoShop, InDesign) installed (and paid for!) on my desktop. If I try out the Creative Cloud apps, will I have to reinstall all of my existing apps if I decided not to keep Creative Cloud?

No , creative cloud and the paid software are 2 different things.
You will be able to use the software which you own.

  • When I try to start ID CS6 I get a start trial creative cloud window instead of ID

when I close out of it, it asks if I'm sure  and then closes and ID does not start. This happens with all the products in the Design & Web Premium pkg EXCEPT Bridge 32 and 64bit, which both still work. Anyone know what's up?

Unfortunately a trial sometimes fails. Reasons include having had a trial before, or changing the computer clock, and other things we don't know about. Sadly, there is no second chance. If there is anything we can help you with to help you with your purchasing decision, please post here.

  • How do I get the trial version for Photoshop CS6 extended from the Creative Cloud Trial

    Hello ...
Plz I wanted to downlad the trial version of Photoshop CS6 Extended and I followed this link
    http://www.adobe.com/cfusion/tdrc/index.cfm?product=photoshop&loc=en_us
Then I chose this option : Option 2: Join Creative Cloud and download now (Recommended - it's free)
Then the adobe application manager has been installed and the photoshop CS6 started to be installed automaticaaly and after it done , I found it the standard version not the Extended ... So how and where can I get the Extended version for both 32 bit and 64 bit?
Your prompt reply is highly appreciated
    Thank you ....

So if you download the trial from the trial page at http://www.adobe.com/cfusion/tdrc/index.cfm?product=photoshop you get Photoshop CS6 Extended.  When you then remove the trial and reinstall from the Adobe Application Manager with your trial Creative Cloud you only see the Standard version?
If this is so you can try reviewing your installation logs by following the steps listed in Troubleshoot with install logs | CS5, CS5.5, CS6 - http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-suite/kb/troubleshoot-install-logs-cs5-cs5.html.  Although your 30 day trial has already begun.  I would recommend for now you just remove the installation and install from the trial page so that you can try the extended features.

Why don't I see Lightroom in the Creative Cloud app?
If you're a paying Creative Cloud member, you may not see Lightroom in the Creative Cloud if your computer doesn't meet the minimum system requirements. Check to make sure that your system meets the minimum requirements for the latest release of Lightroom.
If you're using a trial version of Creative Cloud, the Lightroom trial is not available through Creative Cloud. It is, however, available as a stand-alone trial. See Install Lightroom trial | Creative Cloud membership.

I've just subscribed to the Photoshop Photography program, installed Creative Cloud, installed Photoshop CC from there and could run it just fine, but I couldn't find Lightroom 5 in the list of apps that I could install from CC. Please help.
