Trial download on my PC- Installer not initializing
I seem to be able to download the trial of adobe photoshop but it pops up at the end saying that Adobe Installer failed to initialize on my PC. I then downloaded Adobe Support Advisor and it says that it could not find any problems. Could you please help me?
When it starts, the installer copies temporary files to your root drive. It could be a permission issue.
For example, you could check that your user account have Admin privileges.
Errors should get logged in the PDApp.log file. For assistance with errors that occur during initialization, see the PDApp.log that the installer creates. See Troubleshoot CS5 and CS5.5 installation with install logs (cpsid_84451).
Coudl you also post details about your computer/OS so that folks and help you resolve the problem.

Adobe CS6 installer not initializing
Trying to install adobe PS CS6 and the installer fails to initialize every time. It gets a little over half way done and then errors out. It tells me to download support advisor but it is not outputting any error logs so support advisor does not see a problem. Trial download of Flash CS3 was not completed: does this mean I can't download it again?
A few weeks back I started to download the trial version of Flash CS3 (I am still using Flash 8, but have a CS3 file created elsewhere that I want to re-save as Flash 8). Unfortunately the internet link was broken when only about 80% had downloaded. Adobe has assumed I have the download - does this mean that I cannot try downloading it again? (When I attempt to do so there is a brief flurry of activity, then nothing happens.)

and activate with your serial.
if you have a problem dl'g, you didn't follow all 7 steps. the most common error involves failing to meticulously follow steps 1,2 and/or 3 (which adds a cookie to your system enabling you to download the correct version from adobe.com). so, your browser must also accept cookies to enable these downloads. -

Using Windows 8.1 with Directx11, when I lauch Photoshop Elements 12 Organizer, I see the error message "DirectX could not be initialized. Please be sure that it is installed on your system. You can download the latest DirectX installer from:[URL] I have the latest version, Directx11, as verified by running dxdiag.
Maybe you need to enable Direct Play under Legacy Components in the Turn Windows Features on or off dialog.
1. Right click on the windows start Logo on the taskbar, select Control Panel and click on Programs
2. Under Programs and Features click on Turn Windows Features on or off and then under Legacy Components enable Direct Play -
When I started my PC this morning I got a pop-up message stating that CC has damaged files and required downloading from www.adobe.com/go/adobecreativecloudapp. Indeed, CC did NOT work and subsequent attempts to download CC never got beyond the initial installer box. The posted link also appears to be bogus I am at my wits end here. Have other users experiences this issue? Is this a clever intrusion?

When I download Adobe free trial, download completed, then no more information pop up, why? I mean it is not complete for installation yet.
Flash was designed for computers with cooling systems, it runs fine on my single core Atom netbook even.
The new iOS devices come with dual core Atom-like A4 netbook processors, but atlas! no Flash.
It's because Flash needs cooling and those iOS devices don't have it.
So dump the phone if the lack of Flash is such a bother, it's a overpriced, over rated phone that has little purpose that a regular phone with text messaging, a laptop, a GPS, a camera and a iPod can do so much better and cheaper as they are separate devices with more abilities.

Adobe Download Assistant does not begin or give an option for InCopy trial download
I've downloaded the Adobe Download Assistant four times. It does not immediately begin my InCopy trial download, and there is no option within the assistant to begin this download. (I only want InCopy, not InDesign). What now?
The download will be initiated from http://www.adobe.com/cfusion/tdrc/index.cfm?product=incopy&loc=en_us and wil still utilize the Adobe Download Assistant. If this is not working for you then please try a different web browser.

CS6 Master Collection trial download not available?
I have CS6 Master Collection that is currently installed on my iMac and I need to install it on my new laptop. My serial number is valid and registered with Adobe, but because this was a downloadable version only (no disc), the way it was installed was by downloading the trial version of CS6 Master and then inputting my serial number when installing on my system. It would seem as if Adobe has discontinued the CS6 Master Collection trial download.... and if so, how do I install the programs on my new laptop without a disc and without a trial download? Is there a way to get the download or a disc from Adobe?

Premiere Elements 7 Content not included in trial download
Hi all. The trial download link only seems to include 2 files, the installer around 2MB and the application around 650MB. After installing the trial and starting the application I get a warning informing me that the application has no content. I've seen some other posts suggesting that there should in fact be 4 files to download, one being a 2.3GB content file.
This is now not inlcuded?
The registration for purchasing the product does not include downloading anything further that is not included in the trial downloads.
I've raised two support calls but Adobe support seem to be less than helpful simply saying they don't support the trial software. Clearly not fussed about having a new customer, which I'm likely to be if I can try the trial.
Let me know if there are alternatives to getting the content.
I dont want to buy the product, and still find myselff with no content.

I have a mac running Yosemite and I am attempting to install the trial version of muse I can download the Creative Cloud Installer dmg but when I attempt to run it to install muse it loads half way on the screen then quits and the status bar is gone, I have adjusted privacy settings but can not seem to get it to go past the half way point. Any suggestions ?

I have downloaded the 30 day free trial using Adobe Download Assistant but I do not know how to open it and start using it.
This was so annoying!! It took me a good couple of hours but i figured it out, you need to do the following: Go to the folder where you saved the download (in my case i saved it in My Downloads) -> click on 'Adobe Photoshop Elements 12' -> click on 'PSE 12' -> click on 'Setup' (select the icon which is a box with a shield) -> follow instructions and....voila! You will need to restart when it suggests so save anything else first, then when it reboots you should see the icon on your desktop....hpe this helps!

Hi - Recently I put the latest update on my LT15i (4.1.B.0.587), after this I rooted the phone, and everything seemed okay. But since then I keep getting an error message with an offer to download the 4.1.B.0.587 update and the note: "installation not possible" (because it's already there). The news line on top shows a red exclamation mark all the time. It seems to me that it is due to this error that I cannot partition my SD card. Does anybody have an idea how to fix that? I moved from the UK to Sweden. My trial expired in the UK but I was not able to purchase CC in Sweden for some reason. I was told to create a new account in Sweden with a new Adobe ID. When I did, the trial downloads did not work and I could not purchase the CC at discount price.

I have a Macbook Pro. I updated to 10.9.4 an downloaded the trial for Creative Cloud. It downloaded and installed but will not open. I shut down and tried reinstalling. Same problem.
Thanks.I stumbled upon the solution. In addition to downloading Creative Cloud, I needed to go back to the website and download trials for the programs I want to use--Photoshop and Lightroom. Once I did that, I was in business. Would save trouble if that was made clear on the download site.
