Trial Help

I downloaded the new Flash Builder 4.5 PHP Standard, but when I installed it it said it was the premium version. After running the install I opened the program and it said that I needed to install Zend. There was a tab for Zend so I installed it. Then I started looking at the learn in 1 hour tutorial and it says that you need mysql. Flash Builder 4.5 did not install mysql, it did not install zend automatically. Do I need to go to mysql website and download it and install it?
If you are selling Flash Builder 4.5 PHP with Zend then why don't you include everything you need when you do the initial install, why do we have to go and get all the extra stuff? Bad planning Adobe!!!!!

Zend server and the PHP runtime is the component of your web server that interprets and executes PHP scripts. While using one is not technically required to write PHP code, without it you won't be able to run, test, debug, or profile PHP code that you write. The PHP runtime is not included with Flash Builder for PHP; you need to use Zend Server or configure your web server to act as a PHP runtime.
ou can use any PHP runtime environment with Flash Builder for PHP. But using Zend Server (or Zend Server Community Edition) provides you with an easy-to-use PHP runtime environment that has the Zend Debugger and Zend Framework built-in, both which are needed to take full advantage of Flash Builder for PHP.

Dreamweaver 8 Trial Help problems

Howdy - I just recently downloaded the trial version of
dreamweaver 8 (windows XP, new Dell XPS system with plenty of
processing power/RAM/etc.) and it appears to be working just fine,
except when trying to access certain items on the help menu
(dreamweaver help, getting started with dreamweaver) this causes
dreamweaver to close (with this message "Dreamweaver 8 has
encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the
inconvenience."). I have finished the "getting started tutorials"
through the adobe web site and wanted to move on to the materials
within the help documents, but for some reason help will not work.
I have also updated the trial to 8.0.2, and while this fixed the
problem for a minute (I was able to access the help files one time)
I am now back in the same boat, with no access to help.
Any suggestions?

EDIT: Now I've found the online helpdocs and PDF versions of
these, so at least I have access. In addition, I reinstalled DW8
and this has fixed the problem, at least for now. Just curious if
anyone has had any similar problems (although I searched the forums
and didn't see any) with installed help. thanks again

InDesign Trial - HELP

I am trying to download InDesign Trial.
I have a OS X 10.8.4 Mac
I have downloaded the softwear - it is in my applications but it won't open.
I have tried downloading Adobe Application Manager Enterprise Edition but in the section 'media + package identification' it will not accept the 'Locate the Product Installantion Folder'
Please help!

Free Trial help

I downloaded Adobe for the free trial but it doesn't seem fully functional. I can't convert any PDF to Word. What am I missing?

What free trial did you download?
There are two potential products. One of them is Adobe Reader (this forum is for that product) that has no trial period. It's free. The other is Adobe Acrobat which DOES have a trial and creates PDF's.
If I were to guess, I would say that you downloaded Reader but really wanted the Acrobat Trial?

Can't use free trial - HELP

I am still trying to get into my website through Editor
Contribute. Maybe you will know what I need to do. I downloaded
Editor Contribute and it is now a toolbar when I go into the site;
however when I click on it – it gives me help suggestions to
the left but it doesn’t give the dotted outline around the
page I am editing so I can make changes.

Just download Mavericks (10.9) its free and installed it (Mac App Store)

Pse 9.0 Trial Help

So far, I've downloading Pse 9.9 two times, but it will not work properly. I open up the organizer, select a photo to edit, click on the option 'Edit Photos', and the Editor opens. After a few quick moments, and error message pops up, saying 'PhotoshopElementsEditor.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close', and precedes to do so. This happened in a straight 30 times. When this occurred, I uninstalled it and reinstalled it, but it still does this. I'm sorry, but if more detail is needed, I'll need to be asked specifically what I'm not saying properly or at all. Does anybody know the problem? Any help would be appreciated.

My 3 hard drives are configured as... (WD = Western Digital)
1 - 320G WD Win7 64bit Pro and all programs
2 - 320G WD Win7 swap file and video projects
3 - 1T WD all video files... read and write
Some/Much of the above are available by going to the Windows
Control Panel and then the Hardware option (Win7 option name)
OR Control Panel--System--Hardware Tab--Device Manager for WinXP
And, finally, the EXACT type and size of file that is causing you problems
-for pictures, that includes the camera used and the pixel dimensions

Indesign server CC trial help

I have programmed Applescript and Indesign for desktop for years.
I have a solution that should work well with Indesign server and applescript.
Downloaded the Trial for Indesign Server CC.
Then you have to figure out how to activate the product, which i think i have done via this command :
adobe_prtk --tool=StartTrial --leid=InDesignServer-CS7-Mac-GM
Now that its not compaining about being activated i can see that the sample applescripts provided in the install can compile.
If i run them however i get a failiure thats odd.

The folder is chmod'd to 777 so its not a read write issue.
if i just use the normal open command in applescript i get this error :
The document “bob.indd” could not be opened. InDesignServer cannot open files of this type.
which is just odd. its a normal empty indesign document with nothing in it!
has anyone got ideas?
Server is MacMini i7 with 16gb ram, OS X 10.8.5 server.

Ok, i uninstalled indesign server CC and found a copy of the Trial CS6 indesign server. that works fine. must be a bug in CC. Joy....

CS3 Premium - Owned Copy Being Treated as Trial - Help? Adobe Won't Help for Less Than $39

I bought a copy of Creative Suite Design Premium a year-and-a-half ago. Today, when trying to bring up a .pdf file I got a window that informed me I couldn't open Adobe Acrobat 8 Professional unless I opened another Adobe product first. I opened Photoshop and got a window stating that my trial version ends in five days. I clicked "OK" to get it running again but don't want to be without Adobe resources in five days. I spoke with customer support who informed me that I would have to pay $39 for technical support. After providing my opinion on that subject I chose not to pay the money. That's another issue, so I won't vent here about it.
Can anyone tell me how to solve this problem?

Thanks for the reply, Mike. Other programs within the suite show only "deactivate" as a clickable choice. I assume that means the suite was activated. The Acrobat 8 program shows "Activate" but when following the arrow, shows only a grayed out "Active" "Deactive". Any advice on how to proceed?

Trial HELP please

What am i allowed to do with the videos i make with the 30 day trial of premiere pro

Welcome to the forum.
I do not believe that there are any limitations on the materials produced with the trail version of PrPro, beyond the 30-day time limit OF the trial. There is not watermark, or other visual limitation, and as of about CS 5, about every feature in the full-paid version, except for Adobe Encore, is included in the trial. [Do not think that Encore has been added to the trial, but could be wrong there?]

CS6 Trial - help with customizing workspace

Hi, As a Sound Forge user I'm trying out Audition CS6 as it has such excellent preview notices. Can somebody please help me to customize the workspace please - specifically is it possible to have the items in my "Favourites" as a Toolbar so I can get at them quicker? Also is it possible to have "Insert Silence" out in the open rather than by 3 clicks - Edit/Insert/Silence.

Thanks for checking out Audition! Let us know how you like it.
If you click Window > Favorites you will expose a floating panel that lists all of the Favorites available under the menu. You can "dock" this panel anywhere you like by grabbing the Favorites tab at the top and dragging it over different regions of the main interface. It may take a few attempts to understand the Adobe UI system, but as you hover over regions in the application, you'll see drop-zones appear. Some of these will align the Favorites panel alongside or above another panel, other regions will place the panel in a tabbed group where only one panel in the group is exposed at a time.
You can configure a keyboard shortcut to open the Insert Silence command by selecting Edit > Keyboard Shortcuts. Click the Edit group and find Insert Silence (or just type Insert Silence in the search box at the top.) Select the command and click the Add button to create your own custom keyboard shortcut. You may also record an Insert Silence operation as a custom favorite, available from the Favorites panel.

After Effects CS5 Trial Help

I've just downloaded the after effects cs5 30 day trail onto my mac osx 10.6.7 .
I've imported my footage that i want to edit but can not use any effects etc. when the effects tab is clicked there is nothing there apart from 'matte'.
Does the trail come with no effetcs use?
