Trial Install broken. Missing file?!

Trying to do a brand new trial installation for Dreamweaver
CS3 for WinXP. Click the setup.exe and it goes to 95% installed and
breaks.
It says Component install failed. The original installation
file has been moved....
The file is AdobeExtendScriptToolkit2.0.1all.msi. The .cab
file is there with two other files, but no .msi.
Nothing moved or exists that isn't part of the set up, so
what gives?
Any thoughts?

End process of Hp update/sch in Task Mgr
Uninstall all HP appl in Control Panel, Programs.
Deleted ALL Hp files/folders/7z in %temp%, %appdata%, %programdata%,   Program and Program(86).
Ran CCleaner, Gray Util, Disk Cleanup and Disk Defrag.
Pwr off and unplug PC, wireless router and 3210 printer.
Pwr On Router, PC and printer.
Downld and Install HP Print and Scan doctor.
Doctor found "Photosmart 3200 Series   Network (192.168.0.10)     Software not installed".
1) Selected the above and clicked NEXT.
2) Disable antivirus.
3) Clicked INSTALL.
4) msg "Downloading Photosmart 320Series Software"    (380 mb).
5) Extracting screen and complete.
6) The Solution Center install screen is displayed.
7) Checked %temp% and it contained files 7zS049C and 7zS506C.
8) Clicked INSTALL on the Solution center.
9) Install indicates Checking System and then displays a error screen
     C:users\user name\appdata\local\temp\7zS37B3\setup\blockusersysinsta...
       THE SYSTEM CAN NOT FIND THE FILE SPECIFIED
Ran print and scan doctor again and it added 7zS6CAD to %temp%
Went thru the steps again to delete and clean registry and clean disk
CREATED A NEW USER.
Went thru the steps of downloading Hp Print and Scan Doctor and installing (steps 1 thru 9).
Same problem but with files 7zS303E and 7zS380A in %temp%.
Changed the 7zS303E file (which contained the setup and Utl files) name to 7zS37B3.
Went thru the print and scan doctor again but still recvd the same error
              C:users\user name\appdata\local\temp\7zS37B3\setup\blockusersysinsta...
                      THE SYSTEM CAN NOT FIND THE FILE SPECIFIED
THE SOLUTION CENTER IS SERIOUSLY SCREWED UP. HP NEEDS TO GET THE SOFTWARE PEOPLE ON THIS ASAP BEFORE THEY LOSE ALL THEIR PRINTER CUSTOMERS. ps   I had previously ordered the CD. I get the same error when I try to install from the CD.

My MacBook was getting slow, so I decided to try a clean re-install after backing everything up to an external drive. After I reinstalled OS X Tiger, I reloaded my apps and libraries of preferences and all from the external drive. When I tried to launch Keynote, I got a message saying, "Files that iWork needs are missing. To restore the missing files, use the iWork installer to reinstall iWork." So I tried that; I trashed the apps, deleted the iWork preferences (.plists), and re-installed from the disc, then ran Software Update until it said I was up to date. Now I'm getting the same error message. Any idea how I figure out what files are missing?

I was installing Dreamweaver (Mac version) and received this message. The support people gave me the tech note that says to install the most recent ExtendScript update and if this doesn't fix the problem uninstall the entire CS3 Suite. Do either or both of these things if all you have is a day to blow off. AND after you reinstall the entire suite you still have to get all the updates - more time wasted. FYI, the first time I had this issue last year I did this and it didn't fix the problem because, at least then, the uninstaller didn't remove the old ExtendScript files.
This was the real fix. Search for ExtendScript on your system. Throw all the folders in the Trash. Restart your system and run the CS3 installer. If you watch the installer the first thing it does is repair the current installation. Because the ExtendScript folder is missing it replaces it and installs the components you want. Fix time - 2 minutes.

Hi I wonder if anyone can help me. I am having major problems ever since i downloaded the newest update. Cant access my itunes now as keep getting a message that says there are files missing and that I need to reinstall itunes. I cannot thank you enough for your post! I upgraded my iTunes because some of the freebie songs on Tuesday said they required a higher version of iTunes. Wow! The two weeks since that fateful day have been filled with problem after problem. The 7.5 would not work on my machine, and I got the same "missing files" error. I also got errors that said the QuickTime would not work and that iTunes required QuickTime. I uninstalled all Apple products and tried to reinstall older versions but was not allowed to by the software. I was pulling my hair out. Finally, I read somewhere to go to the directory called WINDOWS\Downloaded Applications\ and to delete any previous versions of iTunesSetup.exe. I also obtained the version 7.2 of QuickTime by itself and installed it on its own. Then, I reinstalled 7.4.3. It took tons of time and tons of trial-and-error to resolve this ridiculous issue. I say "ridiculous" because there is no reason that I can see for artists to insist that their fans use the most recent version of a software. Not everyone can afford to go out and get a new computer to run all this stuff. I digress --> Free or not, I won't go there again. Thanks for listing the older software verions' release numbers ... Made my life a lot simpler. I obtained my older versions by doing a Google search that led me to a place called the File Hippo. Anyhow, hope this can help others who got into the same situation! Back up your library before uninstalling, too! I renamed mine to simply "Music" and have successfully reimported it since the fix. Not sure if my playlists are gone forever, but can recreate them a lot easier than reloading music. Peace & good luck ... I know how frustrating this is !!!

Cannot install driver due to missing files - BlockSysUser and hpzpnp.ice_suffix

I have just purchased a new Dell with Windows 7 64-bit and am trying to install the driver for my oldie-but-goodie OfficeJet 6310. I am having the same problem with BlockSysUser as has appeared numerous times, and have tried all of the posted solutions. I downloaded the driver from the website.
I can get past the BlockSysUser issue by creating another folder called ".SourcePath.setup" and copying the BlockSysUser file that resides in Setup. However, I then get a missing file hpzpnp.ice_suffix.exe, which I cannot find in any of the other folders. It seems to be looking for this also in ".SourcePath.setup".
I can install the printer using Windows, but then I don't have the other good stuff.
This problem seems to have been around for YEARS! Why hasn't it been resolved through driver updates?

It's okay regarding the log file, I did some more research for you and found these steps:
Turn off Anti-Virus (McAffee in this case). How to Disable McAfee Antivirus.
Disabled the firewall. Turn Windows Firewall on or off.
Perform a L4 uninstall. (a) On the keyboard, hit the Windows and "R" key, then type %temp% and hit enter. b) Locate the correct folder starting with "7z" (the correct folder contains "Util" and "CCC" folders). c) Open folder "Util". d) Open folder "CCC". e) Please run the L4uninstall.bat. f) When the uninstall has completed, restart the computer).
Disabled startup and non MS services. Disable startup items and non-Microsoft services.
Restart the computer.
Run setup as admin. How do I run an application once with a full administrator access token.

Exchange Server 2013 Missing file on ISO install Error Code 1603

Hi all, a mystery needs solving any suggestions much appreciated:
We are trying to install Exchange Server 2013 on Windows 2012 server.
The ISO File being used is: SW_DVD9_Exchange_Svr_2013w_SP1_MultiLang_Std_Ent_MLF_X19-35118
All preparation and requisites in place.
During Stage 2 Copying files, we receive an error code 1603 and installation halts.
The error states:
Installing product F:\exchangeserver.msi failed. Fatal error during installation. Error code is 1603. Last error reported by the MSI package is 'Source file not found: F:\Setup\ServerRoles\ClientAccess\Owa\prem\version\resources\themes\base\0\microsoft.o365.controls.timeline.mouse.css.
Verify that the file exists and that you can access it.'.
We have verified that the Path in the error is correct and exists BUT the file is not present within the 0 folder.
We have downloaded the ISO from our Action Pack resources twice and attempted 4 separate installations.
We have tried both Mailbox/Client Access and Mailbox only installations.
The missing file: microsoft.o365.controls.timeline.mouse.css. Hopefully the only file misisng???
Any ideas anyone, could we source a different ISO or copy of the file or ?????

Had the same issue with Exchange 2013 SP 1 Downloaded as an ISO from the Volume License Center, installing on a new Server 2012R2 STD box. I found the equivalent file in another ISO but discovered it was just an empty CSS file. So the easiest way is to not
bother trying to find the file but: 1) open notepad, 2) set save to "All Files", and 3) save an empty CSS file with that filename then place it in the directory indicated in the path given in the error. (Make sure it saves as
a CSS and not as a TXT.)
I reran the install and it completed without issue.

Did you unzip the entire contents of the download zip file onto your hard drive before running the installer? You need to do that.
I have installed it myself and it went in just fine.

If you are connecting the printer to the computer with a usb cable, please remove it from the printer and the computer and set it aside. Hi All
I recently installed a SSD drive in my Macbook, I used the Disk Utility to clone the old HDD.
When i reboot the machine with the new disk I get the image of a folder with question mark.
If i reboot the machine again and hold the alt key at the chime I can see two disks.
One called SSD and another called Recovery.
if i choose the SSD the OS starts as normal and if i choose the recovery option and check the disk with disk utility
it tells me that everything is fine.
Any ideas how i can make the machine boot as it should without having to hold down the alt key a start up??

Hi i tried this and just got the big symbol of doom at start up.
However, a little terminal witchcraft did the trick!

I have looked at 2-3 other posts, and they still fail to resolve this.
I have reinstalled iTunes; I have repaired every other Apple component and ......
Same message every time.
I am running fully updated Windows 8 (not 8.1 yet though)
Looking at the number of posts in this discussion group, it does appear to be something that Apple could take a more proactive lead on. Either a more meaningful error message, or ideally a fully loaded iTunes installation.
COME ON GUYS - help us out here.
If it wasn't that I NEED iTunes to manage and backup my phone, I'd uninstall the %^$*&^ lot. That said, my 4G upgrade to the iPhone 5S is now in serious doubt ... maybe a time for a complete change.

Ok, if you get this message I've read a bit further and found that you must uninstal everything that has something to do with apple. this includes the device driver. this link may help you with that. http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1925 Once I went through the list and deleted everything (device support is a *****). I installed it again and it came up with the same error. I then clicked ok and it rolled back but automatically started installing again and it worked. I know have itunes 10.5. but know my iphone 4 wont connect to it, lol. it says i have to reinstal because the driver didn't take or something. I really want the OS update for my phone but gd this is a bit much.

It asks for the serial number and says that my trial has expired. It rejects the serial number from the Adobe case saying "This Serial Number is not valid for this product". It thinks that I still have the expired Trial Version installed. How do I convince it (the program) that the Trial Version is long gone and the currently installed product was installed with a valid and accepted serial number????

I've downloaded and run the file 373UP.exe. Then I got the message: Missing file eapci4m.ecw. So, I can't install the driver!!!
Wher can I find this file?
