Trial is over so I bought the product

So basically my trial was over, I bought the product and it still says my trial is over! I can't get into the application to save my life!

After much back and forth drama, and the assistance of one awesome person at Apple, and also a great iTunes representitive, they have agreed to refund me.
I have not yet recieved the refund but will post here when I do.
This has been a long and drawn out headache, but I am glad that finally things seem to be set straight.

If you purchased a package then there should have been instructions in the box on how to submit your academic credentials. If you purchased online from Adobe then you should have received instructions in an e-mail. But here is a link that might help you. There is a link under Step 2 that will take you to a place where you can enter the information, I think.

did ae install without problem? check the install logs to be sure (Troubleshoot with install logs | CS5, CS5.5, CS6, CC)
if it did, what do you see when clicking the executable?

I downloaded trial of LR4 and then bought the full boxed version...how do I transfer my catalog?

I downloaded the trial of Lightroom and liked it enough to buy it. I bought the full, boxed version. Do I install again from the cd? Or do I just put in my new serial number next time it asks me if I want to "try or buy?"

How do I get from the test version of Lightroom to the full version when I bought the product a while ago for my macbook pro?

I was previously using the free trial which expired, so i bought the software. However, it is not registering that i am now a member and keeps saying that my free trial has expired.

download the cc desktop app and sign in with the same adobe id used to subscribe: Download Adobe Creative Cloud apps | Free Adobe CC trial
if you still see that problem, uninstall your trial and install using the cc desktop app.

I only had it on one other computer before I added it to this second computer, and I understand we get 3 copies. There should not be any issues. I need an answer ASAP.. actually pretty shocked that there is no immediate customer service that I can contact for a problem like this.

If the develop module is disabled then you have downloaded and installed Lightroom from the creative cloud. It cannot be licensed with a serial number. It requires a creative cloud subscription, and is activated and kept active with your Adobe ID and password. That version will not work on your computer and will have to be uninstalled. Then you can install from one of these two links:
Adobe - Lightroom : For Windows : Adobe Photoshop Lightroom 5.7.1
Adobe - Lightroom : For Macintosh : Adobe Photoshop Lightroom 5.7.1
This will have no impact on your catalog or your images. After you install from the right website you will be able to continue where you left off.
