Trial license expired, but have new key

Hello,
We are running an OEM'd version of Business Objects Enterprise from within a 3rd party application as a trial.  The Business Objects reports worked a few weeks ago.  However, now when I try to log onto InfoView, I receive:
Sorry, you do not have the right to execute this action. If you require this right, please see your system administrator.
I believe the trial license has expired.  I have received a new license key from our sales rep which is supposed to be valid until 1/1/2010.  However, since our current license has expired, I can't logon to update the expired license with the new key.
How do I go about updating the expired license key?  What app would I run using what user/password?

You can always login to the CMC with the built in Administrator account and change license keys from there. It works even when there is no license key.

    Considering the fact that
    1.The CC payment has transacted completely
    2. You have 20or100gb of space (CC Individual/CC Team), you can check it by clicking on the "inverted triangle" beside the logo when you sign in to www.creative.adobe.com. This space allocation indicates that you have subscripton not trial(2gb).
    Then:
    Please check for the language in which you have purchased CC.
    Say for example you have purchased CC for International English & International English wasn't selected when you installed that can also be an explanation for the product running in trial mode. We have this document on the issue.

    In case the language is fine, then
    log out & log back in of the CC Desktop App as it will update CC,
    Launch any product, click on the option of "license this software" Sign in, CC should be activated.

    My problem with Adobe's recognition of my Adobe ID was solved by the chat support. The file "host" was changed, so that Adobe products no longer was blocked. Try the chat.

    I'm having the same problem. Subscribed to Creative Cloud. All the apps showing as 'Try' rather than the 'Download' buttons that apepar on a colleagues machine (who subscribed a few months ago). When I load the trial of Indesign, if I select 'licence software' - no space to put Adobe ID, only serial number which I don't have with the Creative Cloud membership.
    Tried everything that has been suggested. Updated everything in Adobe App' Manager. Gone back to open Indesign - still just has boxes for serial number.
    Please sort this out Adobe. I've wasted half a day trying to install on my machine and still have the rest of the studio to do.

    Does your Cloud subscription properly show on your account page?
    If you have more than one email, are you sure you are using the correct Adobe ID?

    You must first make the purchase, then you will receive the serial number you are asking about.  YOu do not acquire the serial number thru the software.  You acquire it thru the purchase, possibly via a follow-up confirmation  email.

  • Your trial has expired, I have a monthly subscription but photoshop is asking for a key, what gives?

    I have a valid monthly subscription to photoshop/Lightroom.
    I keep getting this message when launching photoshop cc.  Lightroom works fine. 
    I uninstalled everything via the adobe uninstaller, I ran the adobe cc cleaner and rebooted. 
    I then reinstalled adobe create cloud and installed both lightroom and photoshop AFTER signing in, they were both installed from the creative cloud menu.  It says my programs are both up to date, yet when I launch Photoshop I get the trial has expired page, I click "License this software" sign in with my valid adobe ID email, hit "sign in" and it keeps prompting for a license key.  I was NEVER given a license key so what gives?
    What is going on.....I'm getting very frustrated with this software, was working fine, have been using it for months now.
    OS: Mac OSX 10.9.2

    There are no billing issues, I have checked it.
    Adobe CC does not require serial number, to install & activate it, please go to www.creative.adobe.com .Download, install & activate it from there.
    Please let me know if it is asking for serial number when you are trying to activate the CC.

    I bought one year student plan to use creative Cloud for my homework. But every time I try to use the software, it always say my trial has expired and I have to buy the actuarial software. I don't get it, I paid one year student plan, why I always use the trial. Now I can't even use it on my Mac anymore. I have homework due next week. I really need help!!!

    Your caption says "I have my original serial number" , so do you mean to say the original for PSE11?  If so then it won't work in PSE12.  You need to enter the serial number you got in the email when you bought the upgrade from Adobe as download.  Did you get the email from Adobe about this and have you kept it in your inbox or somewhere safe?

  • "Your Trial has Expired" but subscriber for months!

    I am unable to use any software in the CS6 Master collection. On opening it says that my trial has expired.
    When I click license this software (and log in) it asks for a license key (but i have a subscription).
    I checked the status of my subscription and it is active, 2 days until next billing period.
    Any thoughts how I can get this working?

    I have managed to get it to recognize my subscription by doing the following:
    1) Launch "Adobe Creative Cloud Connection"
    2) Login with account
    3) Launch an app (e.g. Photoshop CS6)
    4) Click "License this software"
    5) It now comes up with login form for adobe cloud (instead of the license key it was doing previously).
    Hopefully this will help some others that got the same problem.

    Trying to run the server for WLS 6.1 sp1 after downloading sp1. I had an
    expired license prior to downloading and these still seems to be present
    on my PC despite reinstalling everything.
    My understanding is that BEA are happy for us to download the server
    again when the evaluation license expires - is this the case?
    How can I replace the old expired license with the newly downloaded one?

    The license file for WebLogic Server 6.1 shuld have release="6.1">.
    If you have a license that says Release="*", this is a WebLogic Server
    6.0 license.

  • Adminstudio v9 Trial license expired

    Dear all,
    Ive the following problem and hopefully someone can help :-),
    Im using Adminstudio v8.5 with ZCM 10.1.3 on a developer PC to create MSI packages. After a reinstall of the PC I installed Adminstudio v9. At start of Adminstudio I get the message: "Trial license has expired". Ok, I typed in my license key and I got the answer that everything is fine, but no way, at the next start of Adminstudio the procedure started again. So I am hanging in a loop and there is no way to work with Adminstudio.

  • Adobe Acrobat 9 Trial License expiring early

    I installed Acrobat9 Pro extended trial version to test out the software and after trying to open a 2nd pdf i recieved a windows system error 0x7e and restarted. After restart I open up Acrobat again to the message of "License expired - please register a license" This installation was only 5 days into the 30 day installation period. This error occurred on the SAME day of installing again after I installed a trial version of Acrobat 9 pro. Please help.
    I am unable to install a new copy on my computer.
    - Whats Wrong Adobe?

    I have about 480 songs on my pod but have bought a new pc so will I loose my songs on my pod if I add more songs to my pod any advice would be welcome rgds Paul.

    If you are using iTunes version 7 or later, then you can transfer purchased iTunes store music from the iPod to an authorized computer by using the "file/transfer purchases from iPod" menu. Note that the maximum of 5 authorized computers applies here.
    For all other non purchased music (your own CDs etc) try this method which works on some Windows PCs.
    Enable your iPod for disk use.
    See: iPod Disk Use.
    Open iTunes and select edit/preferences/advanced/general. Put a check mark in the box marked "copy files to iTunes music folder when adding to library" and also "keep iTunes music folder organized", then click 'ok'.
    Connect the iPod whilst holding down the shift/ctrl keys to prevent any auto sync, and if you see the dialogue window asking if you want to sync to this itunes library, click 'no'.
    Then go to file/add folder, open 'my computer', select your iPod and click 'ok'.
    The music files should transfer to your iTunes.
    If this doesn't work (and it may not because officially it's not supposed to), check out the instructions/suggestions here.
    Music from iPod to computer (using option 2). This a manual method using "hidden folders" and although it works, it can be messy.
    Much easier ways are to use one of the many 3rd party programs that copy music from the iPod to the computer.
    One of the most recommended is Yamipod. This is a free program that transfers music and playlists etc from iPod back to the computer. However, it does not transfer playcounts/ratings etc.
    Another free program is Pod Player.
    There is also CopyPod. This does preserve ratings/playcounts etc if those are important to you but this program is not free. It also supports video transfer.

  • Trial has Expired - but no serial box appears

    Hello all,
    My Photoshop CS5 trial expired whilst I was away last week. It was great whilst it worked!
    I was about to make my purchase and receive my serial number, but  the serial box does not come up and then Photoshop crashes/locks, I am wondering what I should do next? Is it because the trial has expired?
    Can I uninstall it and reinstall and then apply the number? Or is there anything else i can try?
    I have XP Pro - SP3
    4 BG Ram
