Trial not launch due to reinstalling windows
My trial has not finished yet. After I formated HD, and
reinstalled Dreamweaver CS3 trial, it does not run, give me the
following error instead. "A problem was encounter while trying to
load the trial period for Adobe Dreamweaver CS3" It suggested that
I uninstall and reinstall the trial again, but I tried so as well,
still do not work.
I need 30 days trial, please help.

The steps in the second box are a guide to removing everything related to iTunes and then rebuilding it which is often a good starting point unless the symptoms indicate a more specific approach. Your library should be unaffected by these steps but there is backup and recovery advice elsewhere in the user tip.

YeahOK, so i cannot enter into iTunes safe mode, whilst monitoring proccesses in the task manager I noticed that itunes will only stay open if i keep my fingers on shift and control-i dont know if that is worth mentioning- the proccess promptly ends after the release of the said keys, (I tried both the shift control keys on either side of the keyboard-same result) so i am stuck there.
P.S.
This version of iTunes had previously worked before, I uninstalled everything apple related after noticing how many processes (-id est-) /applications, were using up my memory.
afterwards I had need for iTunes, (i needed to wipe my iDevice) I reinstalled and this problem has arisen. -
Flash Player does not launch full screen upon Windows restart
We have a Flash application file (flash.exe file) saved on the Desktop of our client's 46" touchscreen. We've created a shortcut to the application in the Windows Start/All Programs/Startup menu as we have 4 reboots scheduled during the day for this application. Upon reboot, the application does not launch full screen but if I cancel out of the application through the Task Manager and go to the Startup menu and double click the shortcut to the exe file, the application launches full screen. The size of the screen and application is 1920x1080.
Other information:
Windows XP SP3
Flash Player 10

Not launching in new browser window?
I have setup a Flash viewer in a HTML Div container. In the Flash I have put a button which, when clicked, launches a new browser window with another site I've done to appear in.
When I test this in Flash its working fine and launches the new window as it should.
But when I go into Dreamweaver where I have placed the Swf. in the Div container, I test it locally in a Firefox browser window. The viewer appears and it works correctly, but when I click the button to launch the new browser window it just opens a window with an error msg 'unable to connect, etc'.
Any idea why this wont work? Is it because it needs to be live (online)?Hi,

Please check if you have placed the protocol - like this http://www.xmy.com" format
and used "_blank" as target in navigateToURL API.

TS1717 Since the upgrade to version 11 ITunes will not launch I'm running Windows 7
Since upgrading to version 11 ITunes will not launch I have removed and reloaded again but it still will not launch.
I was having the same problem. I went into Control Panel and repaired quicktime, and now i am able to open itunes. hope this works for you!

I have been using iTunes for years with no issues but this month I have the program restarting when I exit. I have no addons at all, and nothing has changed at all. I downloaded a few podcasts but deleted them now I have this issue.
Not to keen on reinstalling iTunes as I have over 2500 full albums with a large amount of them covers that I have had to add manually. Also there are some track names / title name issues with my rare audio books that I have bought from overseas.
Any help would be great!

MaximusOk, so after like 4 days of going through all these different issues, I figured out that several programs weren't downloading, and it was an issue with my wireless connectivity messing up the digital signatures, so if you plug in your comp to the modem and delete your temp files, it should start to work!

On one computer we downloaded the software but Illustrator will not start up. She even uninstalled it and reinstalled but Illustrator still will not boot.
if windows, right click the exe and click 'run as administrator'.

IPhoto '11 suddenly not launching even after reinstalling
I am currently running version 10.6.8 and was using iPhoto '11 for many months without any problems until today! Suddenly slideshows disappeared, so I checked for any updates - which there was one - and downloaded it. I then restarted my computer however afterwards iPhoto wouldn't launch at all! It gives an error message:
"iPhoto cannot be opened because of a problem.
Check with the developer to make sure iPhoto works with this version of Maac OS X. You may need to reinstall the application. Be sure to install any available updates for the application and Mac OS X."
Tried restarting again just to make sure. Nothing but same error message. So, reinstalled the Life '09 disk (since I had purchased iPhoto '11 online). Even after reinstalling I am only getting the same error message. No idea what to do now... Please help?!Did you trash the Receipts before reinstalling?
To re-install iPhoto
1. Put the iPhoto.app in the trash (Drag it from your Applications Folder to the trash)
2a: On 10.5: Go to HD/Library/Receipts and remove any pkg file there with iPhoto in the name.
2b: On 10.6: Those receipts may be found as follows: In the Finder use the Go menu and select Go To Folder. In the resulting window type
/var/db/receipts/
2c: on 10.7 they're at
/private/var/db/receipts
A Finder Window will open at that location and you can remove the iPhoto pkg files.
3. Re-install.
If you purchased an iLife Disk, then iPhoto is on it.
If iPhoto was installed on your Mac when you go it then it’s on the System Restore disks that came with your Mac. Insert the first one and opt to ‘Install Bundled Applications Only.
If you purchased it on the App Store you can find it in your Purchases List. -
It seems that none of the techniques described in the Apple iTunes troubleshooting tutorial have worked. I have spent hours on this.
I think that when I downloaded DVD converter and burner program that some preference got tweaked.

When I ran a 'duplicate cleaner' program that a vital program was erased by accident.
In any case, I am a long time iTunes user and Microsoft Media Player will never be an adequate replacement.
What can I try now?

Not working right. Reinstalled Windows XP Pro on my M10-S405 Laptop,
I was given this laptop Toshiba Satelite Pro M10-S405 that was once owned by a school,with no cds. So after it started acting up, so I tried to reinstall Win Xp Pro using the Win Xp Pro cd's that came with my desktop. Then my coputer showed that my Win system was not valid. So I tried a clean Win XP Pro install and it still doesnt work.There is a Win Xp key on the bottom of the laptop, but I cant seem to use it.

The Product Key that comes with the computer is useless to activate a retail installation. You would need to purchase a new one or convice Microsoft that an old one is no longer in use.

Get the drivers from here.
Install the chipset utility first, followed by the display driver. Be sure to install the common modules prior to any Toshiba utilities, including power management.

Desktop previewer not launching from Indesign on Windows
I need your help guys. I working in Indesign CS5.5 on Windows Vista. I have all the folio builder tools released yesterday. When I try to preview my folio from the folio builder menu, it prepares the preview but the Content viewer never launches. Now I can run the content viewer from the start menu but it won't launch from Indesign. Also when I try file>folio preview, all I get is a blank gray screen. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I am new to the DPS and spent most of yesterday trying to get it running and figure this issue out but I'm having no luck.
There is a newly discovered bug that prevents the "File > Folio Preview" command from working properly. This bug should be fixed before the end of this month. You should be able to preview content by clicking the Preview button at the bottom of either the Folio Builder panel or the Overlay Creator panel. What happens when you click the Preview button in either of these panels?

Corrupted Windows 7 install on W520 need to reinstall Windows?
Somehow I have corrupted my Windows 7 installation on my W520.
I receive this error message from Windows when I try to open standard links with Windows Explorer:
"This file does not have a program associated with it for performing this action. Please install a program or, if one is already installed, create an association in the Default Programs control panel."
Lenovo Support says I have to reinstall Windows 7 from the recovery disks. (My backup is also corrupted.) I do not want to completely reinstall Windows if I don't absolutely have to (Nobody would.). Fred Langa has a column that says you can do an "upgrade" reinstall to the same version you already have and it will fix a corrupted Window. However, as I don't have a complete copy of Windows I don't know whether I can do that with my Lenovo Windows serial number? I have downloaded a couple of Windows 7 install discs from Digital River and neither of them seemed to work. (I am running Windows 7 x64 Professional.) I have tried a bunch of file association changes by merging new associations with the Registry, but this has not solved my problem. Windows basically works, and all of my programs work, so I am really hoping for a solution. I can use Power Desk to navigate Windows instead of Windows Explorer but it won't open the desktop shorcuts like Control Panel, Documents, Picture, etc.

I have been to Digital River, but I found *two* versions of Windows Professional X64. I also found two different numbered ISOs which claimed to be the same version. (I actually first learned about them in a different forum in Lenovo.) I tried to do a Repair from them and neither worked. They might work for an upgrade install, with my Lenovo serial number, but they do not work with a Repair. (I did have a Repair disc that I had made myself, and it did *not* solve my problem.)
Do you happen to know the exact ISO number of a version that will work. They are 3GB per download, so they take a few minutes at home. Here I am on a satellite connection so I couldn't download them at all.

Why after Downloading iTunes update it wiped out library and will not launch?
Just downloaded the latest update for iTunes, now Itunes will not launch, and looked in Windows Explorer and saw all the artist but songs folder was empty. Restored comp to earlier date but still have same problem

Taken at face value, you're having trouble with one of the Windows OS dlls associated with Cryptographic Services.
I'd first try the fixit from the following Microsoft document. (One of the things it does is reregister your copy of the softpub.dll file.)
You cannot install some updates or programs
... but if you still get the issue, I'd try an sfc /scannow as per the instructions in the following document:

Photoshop CC trial (Mac) not launching...
Downloading the Photoshop CC trial app and have spent the last three hours trying to get the darn app to work... it launches for a second or two and than stalls in its tracks and just quits.
I've tried all the usual Mac troubleshooting steps, plus all that I could find on net (signing out, quiting the CC app, and than trying again)... same results! PS CC just will NOT launch long enough for me to even try anything. Maddening!!!
I have PS CS6 which works without a hitch. I'm at a loss for what else to try. Even went as far as reinstalling the OS (10.8.4). All to no avail. Anybody got any ideas?

TIANo, at least none that I can find. But just to be sure, I did an unistall/reinstall when I couldn't get PS CC to stay open long enough to even open anything with it.
Something is definately wrong because I haven't once gotten the usual "this is a trial (so many days left) countdown screen" on launch.
I'm stumped!
