Trial Photoshop CS6 - can I access it as a first-time user?

I downloaded trial Photoshop CS6 on my iMac as a first-time user, knowing that my serial number for CS1 was out of date (I'm retired and haven't used Photoshop for years). But I can't activate it. Is it not available for first-time users and if not, how can I uninstall it safely? I really want to try it out before I buy the full version, and was unaware that I needed a serial number until the install.

You don't need a serial number for trielas. if it timed out, something went wrong.
Adobe trial software expired early
Uninstall it using the uninstaller that comes with the program.

Hi, I am waiting the delivery of PS CS6 upgrade from CS5 on disc and in the interim I want to download the trial version to get started but I keep getting directed to another page to log on but I am already logged on to my account at Adobe and if I try to log on again I get this :- The email address provided has either already been verified or did not match an account on file.
All I can see on Adobe site CC and I have no interest in CC I just want CS6 trial!!
Where or how can I get to the trial page to download the trial photoshop CS6 please?

Download the trial from http://prodesigntools.com/adobe-cs6-direct-download-links.html
Ensure that you follow the Very Important Instructions on that page first before you click the download link otherwise the download link will not work.
Once you launch the trial, enter your serial number to license it.

It depends on the file format, many formats are limited to 2 or 4 Gigabytes.
PSB (Large Document Format) is not so limited.

Photoshop should support up to 256x256x256 - but I don't recommend creating LUTs that big.

The Yosemite upgrade very often damages existing Photoshop installations. Thank Apple for that.
You need to uninstall and re-install Photoshop, then apply all the Photoshop upgrades from scratch.

I recently changed my internet provider and now I can't access any files on my time capsule.

I recently changed my internet provider from Bell to Rogers and now I can't access my files on my Time Capsule.
When I click on Finder, it shows up as a Shared Drive. Unfortunately, when I select it, the folder shows up blank. I know the "Data" folder I'd created is there since Time Capsule is able to backup to it and iTunes is still downloading my music to that folder. How do I fix this?
The wireless network works too since all my devices are able to connect to it.

You need to follow the BTMM via icloud instructions.

There are plenty of other ways to do it.. but issues to do with Apple not using a dynamic DNS client so if your ISP does not allocate you a static public IP there is no way to find it, if the public ip rotates as they are designed to do hourly or daily.
Do a google search, remote access time capsule..
Or use the more like this on the right hand side... there are plenty of posts and even youtube video which go right through it.
BTW your school system may simply block the port.. if I was a school IT admin.. I would. You are dragging files across to the internal school network bypassing the firewall.. that is unacceptable risk to the whole school system.

Sorry but there is no way windows can recover a TM backup. You have to use another Mac.
TM is uniquely Mac.

Free trial photoshop CS6 crashing.. help :)

Hi, any help much appreciated!
I just did a system restore on my PC and all seems well. (It's a Pentium 4, 2.8 GHz, 1.5 GB RAM, Wndows XP so hopefully should be enough to run Photoshop CS6)
Yesterday I downloaded the free trial of Photoshop CS6 (Standard) All good so far
Problem is:
whenever I open an image and start to change the image, it crashes every time.
Questions:
could this be because I didn't turn off AVG anti-virus software before running the adobe software install?
Can i uninstall the Phtoshop trial version (and all adobe), and reinstall it now, and still get the remaining 29 days free trial?

That computer sucks. You're not gonan have much fun with even the simplest things in PS. Refer to the tech specs:

It means what it says: This is the bare minimum, but anyone would tell you that your computer's best use would be a door stop and you badly need a better one. Anyway, turn off OpenGL in Edit --> Preferences --> Performance. That will at least avoid the crashes. And no, trials can't be paused/ hibernated. The days are counting from the moment you first launched the app...
