Trial Production in SAP PP

How to handle trial Production in SAP PP.I m thinking to use a separate order type for identification.But the accounting impact will be same as normal production.

     As Vivek wrote that provide complete and clear you business requirement and definition of trail production in your organization. only to create an order type is not solution, is your organization also required different general ledge for this production and settlement ledger. so provide complete information

    I want to Perform Trial Production with separate order type.I want to Do trial production for a material with stratergy 20.As it is a trial Production there is no need to create Sales Order & do MRP run.Planned order will be generated from there & it will be converted to Production order.Can I directly create production order for that material using Tcode CO01.After doing Production GR against the order it will be in anonymous stock or it will be assigned to any Sales Order.Please calrify

    If you create the production order in CO01 then after going GR it will go to the anonymous stock stock.
    if you want to go stock against the sales order stock then raise the production order in CO08 T-code and give sales order details.
    for this no need of MRP etc. then after doing GR it will goes to sales order stock.

    Not for the moment.
    This because the product is still into RampUp. Only after the general release we can speak about the possibility to have a trial version.

    Hi, download of the trial product (photoshop ele 13) does nt start even after successfully installing the Adobe download assistant successfully. Only .7z file is shown, .exe file is nt visible. Whn i try to extract .7z file wd 7-Zip error pops up " cannot extract **.7z as archive" .I've tried fresh download of adobe photoshop ele 13 but same error occurs. 
    OS:Windows 8.1
    Storage loc for adobe down assistant  : C-Program file(x86)-Adobe download assistant-adobe
    Storage loc for adobe down assistant:    C- Adobe photoshop assistant 13-  PhotoshopElements_13_LS25_win64_1. 7z

    Date wise trial balance can be created using report writer tools. Have done this for my clients.
    Following activities have to be done:
    Install table FAGLFLEXA using t.code: GRCT
    You can do this by copying FAGLFLEXT, after copying, add additional fields like posting date, value fields like balance carryforward etc.
    Create a report library using t.code GRR1 and reference the table FAGLFLEXA or FAGLFLEXT
    Create a report under the library created above
    Using report writer or report painter you design the report same as F.08

    Are the PRD and DR in a cluster?
    If the DR has a different hostname you may need to check the following notes:

    You need to be a partner or you will have to get it from a partner. 
    Also if your already a customer you may get it from the customer service market place.
    You dont have to have access to the service market place in order to have access to the SDN forums.

  • Product Version SAP ERP 6.0 Missing from solman 7.0

    Hi All,
    I have installed an ECC6 system and now  i need to configure the solution manager and download the support packs
    and xml file for EHP4 upgrade. I have done this before where in i configure the new system in SMSY as SAP ERP 6.0
    and then configure maintenance optimizer and it gives me the option of Enhancement Package Installation.
    However now in the current solution manager i dont see the product version  SAP ERP 6.0 when im clicking
    trying to creating a new system.
    Our Solman version is 7.0 . I tried creating my new system under SAP ERP EHP as ehp version 1 and used maintenace
    optimizer but it does not give me the option of EHP package installation. Can any one let me know how to address this
    issue??

    Hi,
    Goto Tcode SMSY
    1. Under Landscape Components --> Product Systems --> Select ERP --> Under that select your system ID and click on it,
        Goto --> Header Data on your right side, change the Product Version to SAP ERP 6.0 and SAVE.
    2. Goto System Groups and Logical Components --> Logical Components  --> SAP ERP --> Create NEW Logical Component for   your ECC system under this component and select Production version as SAP ERP 6.0 & assign ur system then SAVE.
    3. Goto System Groups and Logical Components --> Solution Landscapes-Operations --> Select your system landscape and REMOVE your ECC systen form the Solution and SAVE.
    4. Goto System Groups and Logical Components --> Solution Landscapes-Operations --> Select your system landscape and ADD your ECC system form the Solution and SAVE.

    For windows, you can download "SAP NetWeaver 7.01 SR1 SP3 ABAP Trial Version" and "SAP NetWeaver 7.01 - ABAP Trial Version ". Only 7.01 trial is available for download for Windows. 7.0 trial is only available for Linux.
    These are available on the same page as the ones you've seen.

    Yes, you can download it using your Adobe ID.
    Just a word of caution here:  DO NOT just "delete" the other version.  Use the correct Adobe Uninstaller to UNISTALL it.  Otherwise you'll leave all kinds of leftovers and debris that can interfere with any new install.
