Trial ran out after 5 minutes of download

I downloaded premiere family trial, but when i try to open it to use, it says my trial has run out, even though i only downloaded it five minutes before opening to use.

I am sorry Videonoob but we don't have any way to extend the trial. It is possible you had some other software which might have conflicted and made the trial end before the 30 days. I would recommend taking the install files you have already downloaded and install it on a different computer.

If your intention is to use the trial again it will not reset if you reinstall. It will remain in its ran out state.

My Aperture 3 trial ran out... export options?

So I accidentally let the time run out on my Aperture 3 trial. I did some photo organization in it, as well some editing and geotagging. Is there any way I can now export my photos including the changes that I made? I'm thinking that maybe it's too advanced for me and that I'm just going to get the newest iPhoto instead. However, I'd hate to have to make all of the changes to all of my photos again... Any help? Thanks!

In this case you would have been able to export the versions which reflect the adjustments you made. The adjustments would have baked into the image I didn't mean to imply that the adjustments themselves (increase in exposure, decrease contrast, etc) would have beed available as such to another program.

Not sure where you got that idea but its not totally correct. The way the two programs interact is as follows:
Aperture is able to access the iPhoto library in order to import it into itself. When you do this metadata such as keywords and the EXIF data is imported along with the images into Aperture.
The only access iPhoto has to the Aperture library is as any other program that accesses the Aperture previews via the media browser.
Why then is it that they wouldn't retain metadata between the two products? Say if somebody had put a lot of work into iPhoto and then decided to move to Aperture... That's a little annoying =/
Migrating from iPhoto to Aperture will retain your iPhoto information. There is no reverse migration, that is you can't somehow export the Aperture library and import it into iPhoto.

How do I get trial CS5 running after a successful download?

I am running on a Mac Version 10.6 and trying to get the trial version of InDesign CS5 running. On my Mac desktop is an Icon which looks like a CD. I do not know how to proceed to open InDesign

TYpically the installers need to be decompressed (but maybe that was done automatically). You need to double-click the icon and run the installer.

Keeps Logging Me Out After Going to Sleep

For some reason, my iMac logs me out a few hours after the machine's monitor turns off. This has happened, I think, almost as long as I've owned this computer, which is about 2 years now. It's the only one of my Macs that does this to me.
I'm running OS X 10.9.3
Computer Sleep is set to never
Display Sleep is set to 1 hour
It's quite annoying since this means that my Dropbox and other TSR's have to load. Additioanlly, if I leave it to run a project for a few hours, I'll come back and discover a note telling me that I couldn't log out because X process was running.
Any thoughts on what might be triggering this behavior?

You are adventurous. Nothing wrong with your Mac. If I were you I would leave terminal and Console alone until you get familiar with your Mac. Even then unless you absolutely know what you are doing in Terminal you could end up with an expensive door stop. Play around with iPhoto, Safari Address Book, iCal. Read some Mac books from your local bookstore. Hang out at the forums. in short just have fun.

API App times out after 1 minute in Logic Apps

Windows 8.1 automatically logs me out after one minute

I downloaded and installed Windows 8.1 Pro a few days ago from TechNet. I'm logged in only with my Microsoft account (not a Domain account).
For some reason, it logs me out automatically after one minute and takes me back to the login screen where I have to click and enter my password in. I checked all of the Power settings and the Screen Saver is off.
Also, I've wanted to disable the login screen entirely since I live alone. I've seen many articles about being able to disable it by unchecking the box in the netplwiz app, but the option doesn't even exist.

May be you can try to boot into safe mode for test, or create a new account.
In addition, netplwiz is a command to open Manage User Accounts. I doubt whether you had use it correctly.
Press WIN+R, then type netplwiz , press
Enter.

I booted into Safe Mode (after figuring out the new method) and it logged me out after one minute. I logged back in, created a new user, rebooted in normal mode, logged in as new user, was logged out after one minute. Double-checked Advanced

Ever since upgrading to Firefox 25.0.1 yesterday, my open pages are timing out after exactly 10 minutes and being covered by a grey overlay. I cannot use the page until I refresh it. This is extremely annoying and doesn't seem to be caused by an extension or add-on. Please tell me how to stop this inconvenient and obnoxious problem!

After trial and error - the culprit turned out to be the Firefox Ginger (spell check and grammar checker) add-on. Disabling that stopped the problem. Thanks for your help! :)

Apple TV Drops out after 5 minutes

Just got a 3rd Gen ATV and connecting through BT Infinity with a Home Hub 3 in the UK - when playing music, appears to be ok. When watching downloaded programmes from the MAC - it plays for about 5 minutes and then drops the connection to Home Sharing back to the main menu. I then reselect the programme within ATV and it plays fine for the whole duration without drop out.
