isnt there a trial version of authoware for Mac osx?? why is
that?? Why should Adobe exclude us? Im a student and im in
desparate need for a trial version for mac osx (intell) :(
Yeap, as Steve says...
Your best bet, if you really want to run the current trial
version on
your IntelMac, is to load BootCamp or Parallels and install
(!) Windows
on your Mac, which will then likely allow you to run
Authorware in it's
required Windows environment on your Mac.

And you can download prepacked /pre installed sap machine from SDN

Adobe Flash CS3 trial version for Mac
At the end of Part 1: "Building a banner" tutorail from
"Using Flash for the first time", "Testing your progress" doesn't
work : a message tells thet the name is too long, whereas this name
is "anner.fla", or the destination folder is locked, it's not the

Download trial version for mac
22 Hours and still no reply, seriously????
Hi, I am i can't seem to reply to the initial message. I tried the instructions below, but the download has been hanging for almost an hour and not progressing at all - so it seems to not be working...any other solutions? I am in Qatar, does the fact that my IP address is not north american affect this at all?
Trouble downloading captivate 6 trial for mac.

im trying to download the trial version of captivate on my mac, the akamai netsession interface is now on my desktop, i go through installation, it makes that happy sound and says the installation was successful, but nothing actually happens, no new folders or documents, or applications, seems like sort of a dead end.
To investigate i clickedon Akamai in "other" of my system preferences is tells me the status is "forbidden" but I am the administrator and i have never used this free trial before, so why am I "forbidden?"

Why no Acrobat Pro 9 trial versions for Mac
I received my upgrade box for CS5 and the instructions said to delete (uninstall) Acrobat Pro 9 and then re-install it from the included disk. No big deal, I installed CS5 then uninstalled Acrobat as instructed, popped in the DVD of the new Acrobat Pro 9 that came in the box and up pops a message that every Mac users knows asking what I'd like to name the blank DVD and if I would like to mount it? That means the DVD is bank and never been burned. Confused I put it in my laptop with the same result! It was a blank DVD from Adobe!
Looking at the back of the disk it was clear it had never been burned to, you can tell when a disk has an image on it or not.
So thinking I'm clever I go to the download site to download a trail version of Acrobat Pro 9 thinking I could install it and when the question comes up to use it in trial mode to enter a serial number I could just enter the number and be done with it.
So I followed the procedure and waited for the emailed link to tell me where to get my download from, 10 minutes later it showed up, I followed the link and the pull down option only showed 4 versions to download, all for Windows! I searched and searched and could not find a Mac version anywhere.
Today I was able to get customer service on the phone who was glad to ship me another copy, they at firs suggested I just download the demo (just like I tried the night before) and I told them I could not get a link for the Mac. She put me on hold, then came back to the phone apologizing and telling me I was correct, there is no trial or download version of Acrobat Pro 9 for the Mac. I would have to wait for the replacement DVD.
So to me the question is I would have a hard time believing there are more Acrobat Pro 9 versions on PC's than on Macs even though there are so many more PC users. I've never met a single Acrobat Pro user on a PC and I work in IT/MIS at several very large companies. Only the Mac people ever seem to want the pro version, sometimes a few PC users in Marketing or legal want the Regular Acrobat but not the Pro version.
So Adobe why no Acrobat Pro downloads or trials for Mac users? Seems the long standing good relationship between Mac users and Adobe continues to be neglected and diminished. This is hardly the only item I've come across in the last few years where Adobe treats Mac users like secondhand users.What extra work! two, three lines of extra code (may just one) to put a time limit in, that can be overridden with entering a bought serial number. Even shareware peopel do it.
And I remeber when Acrobat only worked on Mac's. You see it was introduced to Mac's first. Microsoft wouldn't allow it until version 3 or 4. If I still had my 7100/66 I might could prove was I one of the beta Testers. But that machine was traded in on the G4-500 (which I still own).
Most major software companies will come out with a new application on the Mac first. Because Mac users tend tobe willing to try out something new on the cutting edge. Then when its prefected they come out with a PC version, and forget about the Mac community.
Look I am 61. And I didn't just fall off the turnip truck yesterday. I've been around since before the days of the moden internet. I started with Buliten Boards on 300 baud modem on an old fashion POTS line. Cost me a fortune in Phonebills
So don't discount my experiences so lightly. I've used appliactions such as ATM Aldus PageMaker (yes you heard right Aldus). I've use Word Perfect for Mac and PC back when it was owned by WordPefect, then Novell) I've use Microsoft works when it came out for the SE/30. Lotus 1-2-3 both on Mac and PC, FaxSTF, and other that are now none existent on the Mac. Chance are I was using Computers about the same as some of you and probabaly earlier than some. I lived it. -

The trial version that you download on MAC would be the same as that of a full verison but the only difference would be that the trial version is good for only 30 days . The functionality of the product would remain unchanged uptill 30 days .
The CC version remains the same as that of the membership one but there is a slight difference about the benefits and the services that you get . For eg , with a trial version you will only get 2 gb of data storage and nothing more than that and a full version would get you 20 GB .YOu can check rest of the details at the below mentioned website.

I can't download PhotoshopCC's trial version for Mac.
When I open the download window (on Adobe website), it says: "Safari can't open the page because it doesn't recognize addresses starting with aam://". I tried to deactivate firewall and pop-up, I also installed java, but nothing... help!

I am attempting to upgrade from Adobe Premier Elements 9 to Adobe Premier Elements 13 after using 13's trial version for a few weeks. I am unable to find where and how to do this without losing the project I have been working on. Please help?

Premiere Elements 9.0/9.0.1 and Premiere Elements 13 are standalone products.
So, you can have both on the same computer, but only open one for your work.
The classical recommendation is to finish a project in the version in which it was created since there
is no guarantee that a project from an earlier version will open in the later version. Probably will, but
no guarantees. And, when you do explore this, do it from a copy of the earlier version project. Once you
take the earlier version project into a later version one, you cannot go back to edit the later version edited
project in the earlier version program.
If you have both versions (9 and 13) on the same computer and you have not moved, deleted, renamed any of the version 9's files/folders,
right click the saved closed Premiere Elements 9.0/9.0.1 project file, select Open With, and then Adobe Premiere Elements 13.
(Your 9.0/9.0.1 saved closed project file should be found in Libraries/Documents/Adobe/Premiere Elements/9.0.)

Using my Personal Domain Name on a trial version of .Mac?
Okay, I have a trial version of .mac, and am very happy with it. I used Iweb to build a good website for my artwork, and I'm all set to publish. But I want to put my registered domain name to my new site, so when you type the simple domain name (ex: "www.site.com") my .mac site that I built on Iweb will show up.
I have a previously-built site hosted by a different company where my domain name used to point. After calling the company where I bought the domain name, they had me redirect the name so it points to .mac. It didn't work. When I type in my domain name (ex:"www.site.com"), the old site comes up.
I went onto the help section of Iweb, which says to log into .mac, and in the account info section, press a button that says something about personal domains. _THERE IS NO BUTTON THERE_!!! Is it becuase I only have the trial version of .mac? I intend to buy the full version, but I wanted to play with my free trial memebership first. If I have to, though, I'll just buy the full version so I can add my personal domain name to the .mac site.
Has anyone come across the answer for this? I'm inexperienced with hosting and domains and all that...the answers I've gotten from emails are like greek to me. Can anyone help?Is it becuase I only have the trial version of .mac?

You should still be able to point your personal name to your .Mac site via ordinary forwarding/masking, where you normally just type http://web.mac.com/username into a form at the place which holds your name. -

CatherineI am having this same exact problem. I have a mid-2011 iMac (latest model) 3.4 GHz i7, 20GB RAM, AMD Radeon HD 6970M 2048 MB. All of the other effects seem to work fine, but i have this same issue with all of the garbage mattes. I have just seen this thread and am wondering if there has been any progress or insights to finding a solution. I do use 4 point masks that are not exasctly square/rectangular so the crop work around won't exactly work for me. I can also make a shape and use an image mask but that takes a bit longer than a quick garbage mask.
Any insights would be greatly appreciated.

CC and CC2014 are the current versions of Photoshop. CC stands for Creative Cloud.
