Trial Version of Acrobat Pro XI

I am trying to use a second trial version of Acrobat Pro, albeit a higher version; but after the download, which was successful, I am not able to access the program.

Did you install it?

    Hi gretchenm66156293,
Are you running into this issue with one PDF in particular, or with any PDF that you open? Did the PDF display correctly previously? How was that PDF created?
For starters, please choose File > Properties and click the Fonts tab. What fonts are used in the PDF? Are they "embedded" or "subsetted."
I would be happy to take a look at the PDF here, if you'd like. Let me know!

    Hi lynnb,
If you already have Acrobat  installed, there's no need to download it again. When you launch Acrobat, you should be given an option to "License this Software." Click that option, and then log in with your Adobe ID and password, and you should be all set!
Please let us know how it goes.

  • Can I download a trial version for acrobat pro 11, and then use purchased license to register it?

You should find the licensing info and download at https://licensing.adobe.com/ then.

  • Do not have a trial version of Acrobat Pro

Acrobat pro has shut down and is telling me that my Trial period is over...I don't have a trial version, I am paying monthly for a years subscription which ends Oct 2015!!  Please help.

When the licensing fails, it reverts to a trial, so clearly that has happened here. So, in fact, you do have a trial, but we need to get the licensing fixed.
Now, since you have a subscription there is no serial number to worry about, but you do need to sign in. Did you do that?

  • Trial version Adobe acrobat Pro nonfunctional

I'm using a trial version of Adobe acrobat Pro. It will not edit text, or links, and will not save. Stacks edited text on top of each other 3-5 deep after editing is complete. Works differently every time I open it. They want $200.00 for this?

You may be expecting Acrobat to do things it was not designed for. The editing features are for minor changes only, and even then it does not work well. There is no concept of inserting lines and such as in a typical editor (thus things stack). The ability to save is often related to the security on the file. If a file is secured, you must have the password to save changes.

  • The trial version of Acrobat Pro won't install. Instead I get an error message once the installation reachest approx. 84%.

This is the error message I get:

the 2nd file can only be installed on acrobat 9.1.0 pro extended.
what version do you have (click help>about)?
and what link did you use to get AcroProExUpd910_all_incr?

  • I was running a trial version of acrobat Pro then upgrade to a yearly subscription now I can't open pdf using acrobat pro?

I am redirected to a screen that says my trial has expired and sign up or register a software license.

I follow the prompts to sign in and a dialogue box shows stating my trail has expired and to buy the product.  to sign in it takes me to a screen requiring a serial number be entered for an off-the-shelf box purchase.  I have activated my subscription from the link i received via email and as a result downloaded creative cloud.

  • Can't activate trial version of Acrobat Pro XI

I downloaded and installed the software, but when I try to run it for the first time, it asks me to sign into my Adobe Account. But then it says that I'm either NOT connected to the internet (I am ) or that my clock is set incorrectly (it isn't).
    What do I do?

  • Problems logging in to get my trial version of Acrobat XI Pro

I'm trying to log in to my trial version of Acrobat pro but it keeps logging in on an old email address, doesn't give me the option to change it and says I need to license it when I haven't even used it yet! I have uninstalled it and re-installed it a few times, just keeps doing the same thing. Any help please?

If you've used the trial, or installed it before, on this computer (different email or not) you can't do it again. Perhaps that is the problem.

Can anyone help with this - do I have to uninstall Reader and then reinstall?

I have had a trial version of Acrobat X1 Pro - I have decided not to buy at this stage - for some time it has been conflicting with opening PDF docs after "saving as" from word 2007 - I uninstalled Pro X1 and now when I "save as" PDF from word 2007 to PDF it will save the document as a PDF but will not open the document to display after publishing - I have to got to where the file has been saved to view the new PDF document - this is really annoying - do I have to delete adobe reader and reinstall it - adobe needs to look at this conflict with acrobat pro as I have even gone it to properties and tried to have adobe reader as the default PDF program - the main issue is that I cannot view the PDF after publishing it from word 2007
