Trial Version of CS6 Design Standard Won't Activate

have been having some issues with activating a trial copy of CS6 Design Standard for testing for my employer. I had some big issues with actually downloading the software getting a Error:100 code. I had to download it from home to bring it in thinking that maybe it was a firewall block even though we have Adobe products currently. 
Now, after installing the trial software, I attempt to execute the program and requires me to sign in. I attempt to do this, but I get an error that I cannot connect. I went through some of the online support pages such as clearing out the host file, making sure that I have a Global cert enabled, etc. I'm still not able to connect. I checked with IT and they were able to get through the https: sites that was part of the steps. Our firewall is NOT blocking any Adobe sites.
Any suggestions? I am needing this trial so that I can present this to my superiors.

Well, maybe so, but something is being filtered/ blocked. This could be anything from a misconfigured router to actually your newtworks NAT an VPN tunneling. Unless you do some very deep diagnosis, I'm afraid you won't be able to get to the bottom of it. Do some traceroute and ping testing or use a network monitoring tool like Wireshark.

  • How do I install CS6:Design Standard onto my iMac? I already had it on my MacBook Pro and should get 2 downloads with the student version?

    I bought the student version of CS6 Design standard 3 years ago and installed it on my MacBook Pro. I now just purchased an iMac and would like to download it onto this as well. I should be able to download it onto two computers from what I understand, but when I insert the disk for download, there is no install.app on the disk any longer. I only see set-up.exe (which is for windows). How can I get the programs downloaded onto my iMac?

    Can't to seem a thread on this with the answer.  I have a box retail version of CS6 Design Standard (Student Edition).  It's a Mac OS only install disc.  If I deactivate the Mac version, can I install the license on PC via download?  (If so, I believe I should be able to also install it on a second PC as well, correct?)

    No. Serial numbers for Creative Suites are platform specific.

    Note: FYI, Creative Cloud apps can be installed on Mac and/or Windows without doing a platform swap since they're activated via your Adobe ID. No serial number required.

  • Trying to Serialize Trial version of Adobe Cs6 Design Standard on Mac

    We have created a Trial package of Adobe Cs6 Design Standard using  AAMEE 3.1 latest version. We followed the guidelines outlined in

However when we try to Run the Command in terminal "AdobeSerialization --tool=VolumeSerialize --provfile=Absolute_Path_of_prov.xml" we get an error which states AdobeSerialization command not found.  Am I missing something here while running the command? Serialization  workflow creates a output folder containing AdobeSerialization executable file  and a prov.xml file. Can't we run the executable directly without using any command on Mac?  We are in the process of using this workflow in order to  streamline the licensing in enterprise. Any help would be much appreciated.

    Hi,
    If you are getting the "Adobeserialization command not found" error, it is not able to find the AdobeSerialization at the path you have mentioned. You should give the path of the folder where the AdobeSerialization is kept on your machine. Please retry it and let us know in case of any error. Return code of zero means success.
    If you are using AAMEE 3.1 and if you use imaging, you need got go through the route of creating the trial package, deploying the trial image and then serializaing the client machines using serialization executable after deploying the trial packages on client machines. The machine-to-license binding is removed in AAMEE 3.1, so you just need to create a serialized packge using AAMEE 3.1, take its image and deploy it on client machines. The licensing will not break on client machines and everything will work fine. So there is no need to create a serialization executable.
    If you have already created a master machine (the machine whoose image is created and deployed) with Adobe products installed in trial, create a serialization executable and run it on the master machine using the command line -
    AdobeSerialization --tool=VolumeSerialize--stream --provfile=Absolute_Path_of_prov.xml
    where
    --tool=VolumeSerialize specifies that the tool needs to process the prov.xml file to serialize.
    --provfile specifies the absolute file path to the prov.xml file,
    By default, the tool looks for the prov.xml file in the same directory as the executable file and so
    typically you do not need to specify this option. (Specify this option only if the prov.xml file is in some other location.) .
    This will serialize your trial products and you can take its image and deploy it on client machines. Again, the licensing will not break on client machines and there is no need to run the serialization executable on all client machines seperately.
    if you have already deployed Adobe products on client machines in trial mode, you need to serialize all the machines using the AdobeSerialization tool. Please run this tool with command line -
    AdobeSerialization --tool=VolumeSerialize --provfile=Absolute_Path_of_prov.xml.
    This will serialize the Adobe Products.
    While taking the above routes, make sure that the package is created using AAMEE 3.1 only. The machine-to-license binding of CS6 is removed only in AAMEE 3.1 release version. This will not work for packages created using AAMEE 3.0 or AAMEE 3.1 beta version.

    I have downloded the trial version from the website, however my original mac corrupted and had to be returned. I now need to download the software for my replacement mac but am unable to.

    You can download the trial at http://www.adobe.com/cfusion/tdrc/index.cfm?product=design_standard.  You may want to consider burning the install files to a DVD or copying them to an external hard drive in case you need them again in the future.

    I clone on a external disk my MacBook Pro (OSX 10.7) with Super Dumper .
    Then i have istalled OSX 10.8.2 and imported all data and applications with the migration tool during the installation.
    My problem is that now my CS6 Standard Edition Suite is in trial mode.
    I have a Box CS6 Design Standard licence - i have to re-insert my serial number?
    Why Apple Migration Assistant not transfer also the data of licence?
    It is normal or it's clone that is bugged?

    Adobe applications should be installed, not migrated. I suggest the cleaner tool be used to uninstall all of it and then re-install the software properly.

    I´m tring to download an Adobe CS6 design standard,
    I went to donwload
    I selected Creative Suite 6 Design Standard
    In Donwload a free trial of Creative Suite 6 Design Standard, i made a click in Download Now.
    After donwload the AdobeDonloadAssistant, it was installed.
    I had to signed on.
    but when I find the Creative Suite 6 Design Standard it doesn´t appear.
    I would like to know what can I do to download it.

    There's no problem with the downloader. I was able to download Illustrator without a problem. I did this by selecting the download from within the Download Assistant. I could start the download for Photoshop in the same app and menu. But they didn't accept my serial number.
    The problem I was still encountering is that the Design Standard Suite is not available for download in the app. You can download the separate apps, Design Premium or even the Master Collection but Design Standard is not in the list (in the app!)
    Thanks for the link. I already googled for a direct downloadlink for Design Standard which gave me the same solution as described in your link. I'm again working happy as ever in my Adobe Suite.

  • I am trying to run my registered CS6 Design Standard programs for the first time after install. InDesign runs OK, but Illustrator and Photoshop will only run in trail mode. How do I activate those two?

    I can't get my registered versions of CS6 Photoshop and Illustrator to run in full mode. I installed CS6 Design Standard online end of June (an upgrade from CS5.5), on my old MacBook Pro. I didn't run the programs then as I was waiting on arrival of new MacBook Pro. I migrated the programs from my old MacBook to the new, and today tried to run those programs for the first time. InDesign work OK (after an initial hiccup) but Illustrator and Photoshop will only run in trial mode, and won't let me save files. My CS6 Design Standard shows with it's registration in my Adobe Account. All seems in order, but Illustrator and Photoshop won't run in registered mode. Can you please help?

  • CS6 Design Standard on iMac, second machine

    I have a DVD of CS6 Design Standard, student licensing, which I have had for almost a year. I originally had it on my MacBook Pro, but now I have an iMac and would like to install it there too. I have been unable to find a clear answer as to whether I can license it on two machines with a student license, but from what I understand I supposedly can...? Obviously, my iMac has no optical drive, so, following the instructions I saw on other threads, I tried downloading trials from CC but when I tried to license them, it said that my serial number is not valid for CC. Not sure if this is because I need a different version of CS6 to license, or because I'm not actually allowed to have it on more than one machine... Help?

  • CS6 Design Standard Serial Number is valid, but a qualifying product could not be found...?

    I am attempting to reinstall CS6 Design Standard after a computer upgrade, however the Application Manager won't take my serial number.  In particular, when I enter the serial number, I receive the following error message:
    Serial Number you provided is valid, but a qualifying product could not be found on this computer.
    When I enter the serial number for one of the products that should be eligible for the upgrade, I receive the error message:
    This serial number is not for a qualifying product.  Please try another.
    I've attempted this on a couple of machines with the same result.  I've also attempted to install CS6 Design Standard after installing numerous other products: CS5 Design Premium, CS5 Design Standard, CS3 Design Standard... and none of these were found as qualifying products.
    I'm attempting this on OS X 10.9.3, on numerous MacBook Pro configurations from the past four years.  It is plugged into the network, and the connection is active.  I haven't seen anything in Console that is related.
    Is there someone from Adobe that I can contact to get verification of this Serial Number, and what product it would be attached to?

    The Serial Number you have is a upgrade Serial Number from a older version.
    So when you try to install, you have to insert the Serial Number for CS6 Design Standard and on the next screen, you need to choose the old product from drop down list and enter the Serial Number for that.
    It is not necessary to install the old application before installing CS6 Design Standard , all you need is the Serial Number for the old version.
