Trial version of elements have question

Hello. After trying to load premiere elements 8 on my old pentium 4 machine and not working, I tried loading Premeier elements 7 trial version and it works fine. I have one question. The trial version banner is covering my screen when I'm watching videos. Can I take it off?

You're most welcome. We'll be interested in seeing the details on your laptop, and also what you find with Event Viewer. It is most likely that you will have a bunch of error and warning messages, just before the BSOD. Some will just have useless code, but some should have links. Hopefully, a few of those links will unlock the mystery of exactly what is happening to cause your BSOD. Do follow all links, but know that some might also be useless code. Do not ignore any of the error, or warning messages and patiently read all info contained within.
One likely culprit for the BSOD is a major driver conflict, though that is just one of possible causes. There are many, many more possibilities.

What "available tutorials" are you viewing and referring to? And, where are you viewing them....Adobe TV or some place else?
There are two basic workspaces in Premiere Elements 12....Expert workspace, Quick workspace. Then there is the Expert Guided one and the Quick Guided one. Which one are you in?

Trial Version of elements 13 running on latest IMac 27 inch. Move the mouse and it is time out. Doesn't matter where on the window the mouse is. The program does not respond quickly at all. Takes ages to do anything with it. Any suggestions?

The program does not respond very well at all. I am wondering now if I should bother purchasing the program.

How much ram do you have? Did you recently import a bunch of photos into the organizer? PSE will be slow till it's through cataloguing them, which can take some time for large number of images.

TRIAL VERSION OF ELEMENTS 13

I have "downloaded" a trial version of Elements 13. A window headed ADOBE DOWNLOAD ASSISTANT comes up and after sometime when the blue progress bar reaches the end a message "download completed" is displayed under the blue progress bar. This window stays displayed on the screen and nothing further happens. I have left the window open for over an hour. Please help.

I don't know what is causing your issue. (I also don't know your operating system.)

Use trial version of elements 9 with elements 8 installed

I have Premiere Elements 8 installed. It hangs after a Peak file is created. It does this everytime, in three different computers and in both XP and Windows 7! I am able to run Elements 8 for about 3 to 3 1/2 minutes before it hangs.
I would like to try Premiere Elements 9 to see if that solves the problem. If I download the trial version of 9 and it still has the same problem, can I delete the trial version and still be able to use Elements 8 in my severely restricted manner?

To Mickey: I got the 2 RAR files into one directory, extracted the part1.rar file, and in that new folder there is a file called start.html. I opened this, and followed the links on the right, from "Welcome" to "Getting Started". After all this I had the SAP Management Console, as well as the Database Manager applications created. You will find the specific instructions for setting up the MaxDB under the "Getting Started" link. After setting up the Database Manager you have to start it up with a user-id and password which was created during the set-up, and specifically link the database to the NSP system. I seem to remember that this didn't work at first, because the Database Manager shortcut does not run the program as an administrator. So run it as an administrator! I altered the shortcut's properties under the shortcut/advanced so it will always run the program as an administrator, and haven't had any problems - once you have done the "Add" procedure you may never need to re-visit the database manager.

Should I uninstall the Trial Version of Elements 10 before installing all of the new discs that I purchased on line? I do not have anything to save on the Trial Version. I do not want to run two programs simultaneously.

You do not need to uninstall. You can choose to enter the serial number for the released product.

Does the trial version of Elements disable some edits?

When I resized a photo in the trial version of Adobe Elements, the edits were not maintained when the photo was emailed and opened by someone else. Went step by step through the resizing process with someone who uses Photoshop for that and believe I did all the right things. Could the fact that my program is a free trial have anything to do with the resize edits not being maintained?

I ordered a licence for the trial version of Elements 12 to upgrade from 11.

I ordered an upgrade licence for the trial version of Elements 12 and the confirmation says it is for Windows. I am sure I ordered for Mac (which is all I run). The serial number is invalid when I enter it which I presume is because the platform is wrong. How can I exchange the serial number for the Mac version?

Downloading trial version of Elements 12 on my iMac

Hi,
I'm unable to download a trial version of Elements 12 on my computer. It's a 27" iMac(late 2012) with OSX 10.8.5 installed. I tried on Adobe site, was invited to download Adobe Downloader Assistant (which was already installed) and when I clicked on Adobe Downloader Assistant Disk Image, got the message telling that downloading in the Applications folder will have trouble because I don't have the whole rights... but it's my computer so I have the Adminisrator password!
Can somebody help?

if you follow all 7 steps, you can download a trial via one of the links on this page using a browser that accepts cookies: http://prodesigntools.com/photoshop-elements-12-direct-download-links-premiere.html

if you have a download problem, you didn't follow all 7 steps. typically, failure to meticulously follow steps 1,2 and/or 3 is the problem, but your browser must also allow cookies so that's (a restrictive browser setting) another potential source of problems.

Also, you need to be in Expert mode. Click the word Expert at the top of the main editor window.

This is not just annoying, it is wrong, because at the end of the trial it will stop completely. You must resolve it before then.
So, did you do anything to license the trial version? It needs to be told that you have purchased, or it will stop working at the end of the trial.
