Need link to download TRIAL version of LR6. I own standalone LR5. Don't want CC. Link to check for update embedded in LR5.7 takes user to CC.

Need a stand alone flash player

currently l have version 7 installed that came with Flash MX problem is on occasion l find its not up to its job..
basically put l want a more up to date version of the stand alone player so l can run files made with newer versions as the stand alone player l currently use is failing pretty badly when running some files only showing half their content.

lm not exactly authoring it came with the suite when l originally started using it, really only installed that part for the stand alone flash player.
but surely l can just install and updated stand alone flash player, all l want to do is view animations a friend of mine wanted me to try out for him. that being said l cant even seem to view them in my browsers which is weird because no one else is having any issues and my browsers flash plugins are up to date.

We would like to inform you that the installer for both Standard and extended version are same, as trial you get Extended version.
If you have serial number for Photoshop Standard CS6, only then it would turn out to be standard version.

Will the stand-alone Lightroom 6 version install also "creative cloud desktop" application (like the cc trial) or will it be really a stand-alone software, without any other software (which will continuously and silently connect to the internet) "bundled" ?

Thanks, that's unfortunate.. I'm planning to update and I really hoped that buying the stand-alone version would have resulted in having a different installer but to me it's a selling factor not having additional software that does its things online without asking (which, if blocked with a firewall, prevents the trial of LR to work at all).
I'll try to understand if the cc will also be uninstallable afterwards keeping lr6 working correctly (if you'll try to uninstall it in a month, please let me know).

Just to be clear for others who might read this thread: There is a free trial available for both CC and standalone (perpetual license) customers. The free trial for both sets of customers is called "CC"; but if at the end of the trial you want to convert to a standalone (perpetual) license, it's just as easy as with previous versions. You pay $149 ($79 if upgrading), get a license key, and enter the key into the free trial.

How to run stand alone executables developed with different versions of LabView on the same system

I am using LabVIEW 8.2 to develop a stand alone executable for a target system. The target system already has a stand alone executable written by another vendor, using LabVIEW 7.1. I installed the LV RunTime Engine for 8.2 which left the 7.1 engine intact (as it should). The problem I am now having is that the drivers installed on the target system are incompatible with the NI-DMM vi's that I am using. My concern is that if I replace the old drivers with the ones I am using on my development platform I may end up breaking the old software. What would be an appropriate work around to ensure that the target system will be able to run both executables? (FWIW the system will NOT be running both executables concurrently.)
The target system is an embedded PXI card cage, running Windows XP, with a NI PXI-4070 DMM (among other instruments, however I have had not had this issue with the NI-DAQmx drivers).

Thanks for sharing your issue with the community. I am struggling to see what you mean by "break the software." If you only have the two executables and LV Run-Time versions 8.2 & 7.1, then you just need to go to http://www.ni.com/support/ » Drivers and Updates » Search within Results: » enter "NI-DMM" » GO to get the DMM driver you need. To see the driver you were using on the development machine, just go to Measurement & Automation Explorer (MAX). The DMM driver should also automatically install DAQmx, NI-VISA, and NI-IVI, fyi.

well, I started to but it seemed as though it was going through another purchse cycle, that is why I ask

I have found where to download and start a CC trial, but for security reasons, that isn't going to happen. Before I recommend to LR6 to the companies I advise I want to be able to test LR6 (especially after the LR4 and LR5 initial release fiascos).
If there is not a trial version of Lightroom 6, what is the refund policy?
I'd be willing to upgrade one of our licenses, but if we discover problems (like when we installed LR4 and LR5) we will want a full refund as we will be abandoning Adobe products completely at that point.

You are correct, the CC version is activated with your Adobe ID and password after you have signed up for the creative cloud plan. You can uninstall that CC version and install the standalone. It is the same program, and will open the same catalog. You don't need to back up anything. Just change over to the standalone program and start Lightroom. Everything will function just the same6.

Errors in stand-alone Sharepoint 2013 trial

Hi there, I have installed the stand-alone trial of Sharepoint 2013 on our Windows Server 2008 R2 Enterprise machine, Service Pack 1.
When I click on the 'Sites' link at the top right, I get the error:
"Not Found
The requested URL /my/_layouts/15/MySite.aspx was not found on this server."
And I get similar errors for any of the links at the top right: 'Newsfeed' and 'SkyDrive'
I have four Web Applications set up:

look like your MySite host and UPA is not configured properly.
Central Admin > Application Management > Manage Services Application...On this page check if the User Profile service is listed their. Click on USer profile services, and check the configuration.
Follow the instruction below to configure Mysite and UPA
