Trial version of pages

trying to print a document from the trial version of pages, in iwork. First document printed fine...second comes out really bad...the pictures are just globs of color.......its not the printer because i can print other pictures fine. I'm wondering if its because It's the trial version?? Like "word" in the trial version....you can't print unless you buy it. Is "pages" the same way?? thanks...

I have had no trouble printing any number of copies from the trial version of Pages. The only strange thing that happened to me with the trial version was that my 30 free days ran out after only a week and I had to pay in order to keep using it!

My guess is the 30-day trial period has expired but you didn't remove the trial before installing the full version. The files to delete are the iWork ’09 folder from the main HD > Applications; the iWork ’09 folder in HD > Library > Application Support & the individual iWork application plist files found in HD > Users > (your account) > Library > Preferences for each user.
Yvan Koenig has written an AppleScript that removes the files. You can find it on his iDisk in For_iWork > iWork '09 > uninstall iWork '09.zip.

Run it then reinstall the purchased software.

How to remove old trial version of Pages

I trialled Pages a few years ago but never used it. Since then I have bought Pages (and Numbers) through the App Store but when opening a document (Microsoft Windoze 08 is currently set as default) and I select 'Open With' I have two options for Pages. How can I get rid of the trial version and keep the version I have bought?
For instance, I get an e-mail with a .doc file and I might like to now see how Pages displays the documents before I completely transition over from Windows (soon I hope!). I'm forever opening the trial version of Pages so there must be a way to remove this option.
iMac (intel) 2008, Mac OS X Lion.
I perhaps trialled the whole iWork 08 suite but never got to grips with it.
Any help would be gratefully received.

D'oh. I've just answered my own question! I had a little play with this idea and found the old iWork 08 folder and trashed it. Emptied trash and now we're OK.

How do I uninstall a trial version of Pages?

I've seen this question before, but don't understand the responses. Trial version keeps popping up when I'm going back to edit old docs and then won't let me edit them. I know I just need to uninstall it, but don't know how to do it. Thanks in advance!

I've seen your link above and can't sort out from all the info where and how to do a simple uninstall. I'm usually not so dense re: these computer things...somehow for this one, I can't see where the steps start.... I have the newest version as a purchased download, so if I needed to uninstall both and reinstall the new one, I could. Just need to understand how to start the process! Where is the uninstaller?

IWork '06 trial expired, now .pages 'cannot be opened'

In essence, I was stupid and on my new MacBook actually created some Pages documents. I say stupid because the machine automatically opened the trial version of Pages in the trial version of iWork '06. So now that the trial has expired, all those .pages document will not open in the previous version of Pages.
Is there any way, short of buying iWork '06, which is not currently an option, I can actually recover these documents, or has the fact that my new machine forced .pages documents to open in the trial version completely raked me over?

Only Pages 2.0 can open Pages 2.0 documents with preserved layout.
The best thing you can do without Pages 2.0 is to ctrl-click on the files and choose "show package content". The content is not easy to read, but it contains the pictures and the text in a not easily readable xml-format. There may be some things there you can use.
I would check around with friends, and see if anyone of them had Pages. Then export the files to rtf or word format. If there are some really nice people at your Apple dealer, they may even help you out converting the files, even though it is not part of their job.

Trial version missing files?

When i open the trial version of pages, or the other programs in iwork, a box pops up stating theres missing files. I click on run anyway and it seems to work ok. Are these files missing because its the trial version?

Command is the key with  ⌘ on it. Press down the command key and the shift key and 4 all together. The curser changes to a cross and you draw around anything on the screen with the cursor and it puts a png picture on the desk top. Command shift 3 takes a screen shot and puts it on the desktop too. Press esc to cancel if you get lost.
I use command shift 4 to draw around strange windows or warnings so I have a record of them.

Not automatically, but you can save documents in the older format on a document by document basis.

Modifying a page in Dreamweaver (trial version)

Can I modify a page in 30 day trial of dreamweaver? If so, how do I do it? When I try; the option to modify the page is whited out. It will not give me the option to select it.

Everything in a template is editable. I'm sure you must mean code like you'd find in a child page -

... some txt ...

But to the OP, I would ask:
1. What are you wanting to "modify"?
2. Where is your focus (Code view/Design view/Live view)?
3. Are you looking at the "Modify" option on the main menu?
4. Which version of DW are you using?
For your information, trial versions and retail versions are identical in function and operation.

It's so hard that Adobe has no contact form, no way I can see to contact them. The help is not helpful to me, it's more like an FAQ. So I'd also be interested in knowing how their customer support is from anyone who has had to use it. They don't have any obvious way to contact them for pre-sales support. When I see that I get suspicious that you will get no help once you hand your money over.

Using trial version of Dreamweaver CS6, Blank page, HTML onlly 2 layouts

My students are starting out using a trial version of Dreamweaver CS6, but only get 2 different layout options when selecting a Blank Page, HTML. Can they add additional layout options somehow? This is making it hard for them to complete the assignment. Is there some way to get all of the layouts to show up?

The new DW CC only comes with two layouts - HTML5: two columns and HTML5 Three columns. Apparently there is no need for more because these two layouts are all you need. I don't use the CC version so I don't know anything else apart from this.
With two column layout, you can move the sidebar easily by floating it either left or to the right; So this makes it three layouts!!!!!. It should also have something called Fluid Grid Layout that is used to create "responsive" websites for mobile devices.
Did you have any other layouts in mind?

I have a problem.
A time ago I downloaded the iWork trial version pack (for 30 days free),
I decided to buy Pages quicker then in those 30 days. So now I have the real pages version and the trial version on my computer.
The problem is now, that it's not letting me to print/save anything because it's says I've still the trial version.. So i got two Pages right now. I can't get rid off the trial version one...
But i bought the "real" Pages in the App Store, so don't have any box with a license or stuff...
Can anyone please help me out?

Pages and Keynote reverted to trial version.

I have been using a retail version of iWork for about a year only to find today that when I tried to open a document, I get the trial version window. Same thing for opening Keynote or Pages from an alias or the application icon. I assume they are the full versions (Pages is a 397.2 MB application). Further, when I choose File - Open Recent, my 10 recent documents are there (though greyed out).
Any suggestions on what happened and what a solution might be to access the program (short of reinstalling).

I have bought pages and sometimes the trial version pops up. How do I delete the trial version or get it to stop running when I try to open documents.

When the trial is gone, download the Mac App store version.
