Trial version problems

I just signed up for a trial of Adobe Document Center. I am having an issue with the .fdf window not opening. We use Vista and IE8. Can anyone provide some insight on this?

FYI: I have never needed to do this...
Try changing you code to this (add the extra localPath param) and see if that makes a difference:
SharedObject.getLocal("MyTrialComponentName", "/");
Which sets the localPath to /. So I think it will then apply for all SWFs on this box as opposed to a specific SWF.
In Xcelsius when you preview or export a new SWF is generated so if you do not make the LSO shared by all SWFs each SWF will have its own LSO.

Trial version problem when using more than 1 track - does trial version same as full one?

I am thinking of upgrading to Premiere Elements 9 as I have upgraded my laptop. But the trial version Premiere Elements 9 doesn't even perform as well (with the same media) as Elements 4.0 did on my old laptop.
My new laptop is an HP Pavilion with Intel(R) Core i7 Q720 @ 1.6GHz (I was a bit wary of the low GHz but HP explained that that was still better than a higher GHz figure for an i5). I am editing both MP4 and avi files at 720 x 480.
The problem is that as soon as I start to use more than a couple of video tracks, playback slows right up, making editing difficult. Other software packages I have trialled on the new laptop (such as Sony Vegas) don't slow up at all, but I'd rather not buy them as I am very familiar with Premiere Elements now.
Is this a problem with the trial version which woudl be solved if I bought the full version, or will it be the same?

The AVI format is but a wrapper. Almost anything can be inside that wrapper. This ARTICLE will give you more background, and will also tell you how to determine what is inside the wrapper.
Especially with a laptop, I strongly recommend tuning the computer for an editing session. This ARTICLE will give you some tips. Note: there are a couple of links, just for Win7. Also, there are some good tune-up tips in the forum FAQ section, to the right of the main forum page. Of special note: the active anti-virus, pop-up blockers and spy sweepers are known to cause all sorts of problems, when trying to edit video.
One major consideration with a laptop is the I/O sub-system - the HDD's. Most laptops only have one internal HDD, and that is anything but ideal. With eSATA external HDD's, one can get very nearly the same performance, as with multiple internal HDD's. This ARTICLE will give you tips on using external HDD's with video editing. Though I have 3x internal SATA HDD's in my laptop, I still rely on FireWire 800 (IEEE-1394b) externals, and they work well. Using eSATA would be even better. Adobe Reader 2.5 trial version problem

Hi, I downloaded the 7 day trial version of the Adobe Reader LE 2.5 version, to test if it has the REFLOW/WRAP feature. When I install it in my device (n8), it first says "Application not compatible with phone. Contiune Anyway?" and when I do continue, it says "UPDATE ERROR" .
Anyone experienced this problem? Anyone knows any way out of this ?

But it doesn't have that feature I mentioned. Although the website and the OVI store do mention that the feature is included in the purchasable version... does your device have the "word wrapping/ reflow feature"?

Adobe Flash CS3 serial number with trial version problem

I have been trying to install Adobe Flash CS3 but when i
click on the icon it tells me my trial version has expired, to
enter the serial number so I do but it does not work.
I have manage to install Flash CS3 but everytime I click on
the icon to start the program it ask the trial version has expired.
I don't know how many times i have to uninstall it

Delet the file "Lightroom 1.0 Registration" in the following places:
~:Library:Application Support:Adobe:Lightroom:
(~ = your home folder).
and
Library:Application Support:Adobe:Lightroom:
(The library-folder att the root of your harddrive).
If you only have that file in one place. Just delet that one.
Restart LR and register again.
I think this will work for you.

I installed the trial version of various applications, but after a problem with my pc I had to go back to a restore point, so programs installed after the restore point are deleted, but I can not re-download the trial versions, because it appears as if I already have it, what can I do?

After Effects trial version problem

I want to download After Effects or Premiere(trial version) but on clicking the 'try/download' button, adobe cloud application manager opens up. this list DOESNOT include After Effects or Premiere. How do I download either of these softwares' trial versions now?

You probably can't. The programs not showing up in AAM usually means that your system doesn't meet the requirments. All video apps require a supported 64bit operating system.

Photoshop Elements trial version problem

I'm from the UK but am in France. I want to download P/S Elements 30 day trial UK version for my Mac OS 10.7.4. The screen was in French but I changed the version to say "UK". Download Assistant was in English, but it then seemed to be downloading the French version of P/S. I stopped the download. What can I do to get the UK version?

That may not be possible directly due to the geo IP tracking - for unregistered software at least. Otehrwise of course a registered version can be downloaded in teh language it was purchased from your user account. You might try the workaround provided here to access the proper language version:

Nothing is written in to my E:\usr\sap folder which I have share as saploc and sapmnt.

Sorry for the delay. I was on vacation.
Which environment variable are you referring to?
JAVA_HOME is set to C:\j2sdk1.4.2_09.
I am using j2sdk1.4.2_09.
Only port changes I tried was
#sapdp01 3201/tcp.
I tried with and without the # .
Both had the same results.
I have given below the last few statememts from the sapinst log file
Any help to solve my problem will be greatly appreciated.

Anyone else had problems downloading RH9 trial version?

I have unsuccessfully tried to download the RoboHelp 9 trial version using various browsers (IE, Firefox, Safari) on both my work and personal laptops. Received the following error message when trying to download the trial this morning using Safari. Has anyone else had problems downloading the trial version? I just ran across download information on Adobe's website this morning stating that popups, firewalls, 3rd party security, etc. must be disabled before downloading. Is this the problem or is there an issue at Adobe's end??
I haven't used RoboHelp in many years and need to get the trial installed asap in order to compare against Flare 8.

Yes probably, your firewall, might be obstructing.
I was wondering, in case you are still facing the issue then you can try following steps too--
1) Go to this page (copy to your address bar)

2) Log in using your Adobe ID and Password
3) Copy paste each of the below links in the address bar, one at a time and hit "Enter" from keyboard (Return)

Problems with SAP NetWeaver 7.01 ABAP Trial Version installation

Hi,
I have installed NW 7.01 ABAP trial version "successfully".
Unfortunately the application server doesn't start.
After some time the Dispatcher process stopps.
In the syslog you can see that 7 workprocesses are started.
they all don't seem to be able to connect to the database and shut down.
The related syslog messages are:
Database: SQL error -1070 occurred (possible network problems?). Work process is stopped
Database: Database error -10709 at CON
Database: > Connection failed (RTE:Database name is missing)
SAP-Basis System: Stop Workproc 4, PID     4136
I already re-installed the Trial version, and I also checked that the database is up and running.
The error persist.
Can anyone help ?

Problem with keydecoder.dll in Crystal Reports 2008 Trial Version

Hello,
My company is interested in purchasing Crystal Reports 2008 and has asked me to download and try the trial version. However, I have been running into a keydecoder.dll problem. Setup was smooth and here are the details:
Problem message:
"Crystal Reports: Application Error Couldn't load keydecoder.dll"
I have Windows Vista and I have already configured all permissions and administrative rights to the problem to full control. I have also attempted to drag the keydecoder.dll application extension out of win32_x86 to the file folder crystal reports 2008. I have also already attempted to reinstall and making a new program file location named 'Crystal Reports 2008'.
I'm running out of ideas and would appreciate some help. Thank you

The error message occurs because the CommonFiles entry has the wrong path in the registry.
Resolution :
CAUTION The following resolution involves editing the registry. Using the Registry Editor incorrectly can cause serious problems that may require you to reinstall the Microsoft Windows operating system. Use the Registry Editor at your own risk. It is strongly recommended that you make a backup copy of the registry files before you edit the registry. For information on how to edit the registry key, view the 'Changing Keys And Values' online Help topic in the Registry Editor (Regedit.exe).
To resolve the error message
Click Start > Run. The Run dialog box appears.
Type "regedit" in the Open: text field. Click OK. The Registry Editor appears.
Navigate to the following key: HKEY_LOCLAL_MACHINESOFTWAREBusiness ObjectsSuite 11.5Crystal Reports.
Double-click the CommonFiles string. The Edit String dialog box appears.
Ensure that the path points to the location of <installation directory>Common3.5 in.
For example, the default location is the following: C:Program FilesBusiness ObjectsCommon3.5 in.
Edit the path as necessary.
Click OK. Close the Registry Editor.
Crystal Reports starts successfully.

Problems installing SAP NetWeaver 2004 trial version from book DVD

I'm trying to install netweaver trial version from the dvd in Horst Keller's book ABAP Objects but am having problems. I have tried to uninstall and start again but I keep getting the message below. Any suggestions welcome as I'm new to all this.

Hello Sharon,
I don't know this book you've mentioned, but perhaps it's the same trail version as you can download from SAP.
To uninstall it please go through the steps provided in the first part of the following site --> link
Then try to delete the D:SAPNSP-folder again.
Also please check your services-file under C:WINDOWSsystem32driversetc that there aren't any entries like NSP left.
